- A short video of my 1994 mustang gt and some 0-60 testing.Not bad for an almost bone stock 1994 Gt with 2.73 gears,running 87 octane at 10* degree timing.

I don’t think this car has traction issues, I think the clutch is toasted. Lots of revs very little tire noise and you can see the slip during 1-2 shift on Speedo.
That’s tire spin clutch slip doesn’t change wheel speed.
It has like 215Hp stock if gt

The 1994 mustang only came with the 5.0 1994-1995 the 5.0, so either you got year wrong or motor wrong.Either way around 2.5k is what they go around my area for automatic.
I wish my sn95 came with the 5.0. Would've been even nicer. came with the 3.8

@@rmanor5508 Factory 0-60 is absolutely not 5.8. The best time you will see published anywhere consistently is around 6.3 seconds. That’s with perfect conditions and a professional driver on a prepped drag strip. On the street, they are lucky to get under 7 flat (6.6-6.8 is about the best you’ll get). This one with a couple mods is much quicker. With a set of drag radials this car would daily be in the mid 5s. And low 14s down the 1/4. Stock they are mid to low 6s and high 14s low 15s at best.
To this day I still don't understand the logic behind the early 2 valve 4.6 in the GTs. Has the same power numbers, and produces them at a couple thousand higher RPM, and, it's heavier 👍. The 4.6 should have been strictly the Cobra motor. The 32 valve. The 4.6 2 valve is an excellent engine, but I think Ford messed up putting it in the mustangs, let alone using it in their trucks when they could have just built up the Windsor engines just as they have been. Now in the f-250s the latest and biggest gas engine is guess what, push rod engine! 😃

The mods are in the description, it was basically a stock mustang with some slight weight reduction.
My 95 auto does not pull that fast for some reason is it because yours is manual or might something be wrong with my transmission? my mods are :Sr cold air intake , bbk 65mm throttle body
Stock manual usually feel a bit more alive, with an auto you need bigger gears and make sure your engine running good no misfire or nothing like that.

It's says 4.6 gt on the side I'm not that into mustangs I'm more into the lt1's but it was only 400$ and I'm rilley not sure what the year is
thats cool man if it says 4.6 and its this body style then it must be 1996-1998 but either way any v8 for 400 is pretty good

May be a leaky radiator too. In my 94 Cobra it still has the STOCK one that has a small crack in one of the corners.. I just put a little coolant in it every other week since I'm too lazy to get it fixed.. best of luck.
James Hoey coolant temperature sensor! My brothers 95 had the same problem,changed every single cooling part one at a time till we found out it was just a bad coolant temperature sensor which always go bad on 94-95 mustang gt's,I guarantee you that will be your problem

Longtube headers, gt40 intake and heads swap ( ford explorer parts) ,gears(most important) and maybe a cam if you really want to but no need.With this setup you'll be more than happy for a while.

This car was pretty traction limited so with good tires would of been somewhere in the 5s, but either way depending what you use your mustang for but its hard to beat the sound and feeling of a v8

Unless that Mustang is actually making a chop,chop,chop,chachachachop sound you shouldn't have any issues. If it is making a nice chop from the cam,back off as it will most likely dust you, my little 302 has a nice chop but it's only making 350 hp right. When I put the 351 in it should be a little more decent, though mine also is a GTS with weigh reduction with better tires, better cam, better intake,better throttlebody, springs,lifters,ect running 4.10 gears also helps a lot. 0 to 60 in the 4 second range.
