Yes, it works perfectly in both languages. But that's not all. I did a test where I asked a question in Portuguese about something I only have notes in English. The answer came back in correct and in Portuguese.
This is all well and good but my notes still don't sync from desktop to mobile. My mobile app is still all screwed up. And they want more money. I would drop Notion today if these things were fixed!
i used to have the same problem (was a Blackview phone). Had to change phones because of broken charger port and now on my new Samsung it works well. Maybe do a hard reset of the phone
I am disappointed about the AI-search. In most cases, it tells me that it does not find the information in my notes, although I know it is there and it does not search in my PDFs, e.g. in user manuals. It this depending on the license model? I am using the private, not the professional model.
That shouldn't be happening. Are you using the feedback form to report issues to Evernote? I don't search manuals, but in a recent conversation with Jon (link below) he shared many success stories looking for information in manuals. 👇 ruclips.net/video/FeUP0ME5iVc/видео.html
@@vladcampos Another possible reason could be the fact that my notes are either in English or German. I will try whether there is a difference using different languages for the prompts.
@@vladcampos Thank you very much for this quick response and for your excellent videos about Evernote. I didn't use the feedback form yet, I will do it soon. It's not just the manuals, but also other information present as pure text in the notes that is not found by the search. I still find the information I am looking for with greater success using the standard search. Maybe I am using the wrong prompts or the search is not good when using German, my mother language.
Wow, this is awesome, @vladcampos! I used the AI-Powered Search to ask it when an upcoming meeting was. The catch, the info is imbedded in a PDF deep into a notebook. Boom! It found it and let me know. This can be huge from contact information to bigger, deeper questions. With the information I have in Evernote, it is almost an AI access to my brain!
I believe that this is only the beginning of a huge revolution. I've been following the development from the very beginning, and this is why I've been saying "stop wasting time organizing" a lot in my recent videos.
I can easily understand how you feel 😊. It's so cool! And although I've been using it since the very early stages, I'm still blown away by how cool it is 💚
If you ask a question, it will look for the better answer in all your notes. But it will only send the most relevant notes to the model. But if you want to filter information, you can select where. Example: Show me all notes containing PDFs in notebook X.
It's mind-blowing. I was following the development from the very beginning, but when I first used it in my Evernote it was something out of this world. It's one thing to know how capable the AI is. It's an entirely different experience to see it in action in our own notes.
@vladcampos thank for always sharing interesting videos. I wanted to just mention that last part of the video of organizing vs being organized. In my case I am lucky to like both. However if you follow a process like GTD you must have some kind of organization to be able to review list that are manageable and not a 100 + list of notes. Search will always help to simplify your reviews if key words are a habit to be used in notes. Again is a organization process. It's fascinating this topic and I encourage you to work on a specific video about this ! Thanks again
I abandoned all the methods I tried many years ago, and I have no regrets. They all have too many ceremonies that add too much friction to my life. I basically use the calendar to guide my activities, and I believe that AI-Powered Search is only the beginning of a huge revolution. I've been following the development from the very beginning, and this is why I've been saying "stop wasting time organizing" a lot in my recent videos. Likewise, I can easily imagine something like "show me all the tasks from my last meeting and all the related notes" in the near future. AI-Powered Search has the potential to become the greatest productivity copilot of all time.
@vladcampos Another great Vid. Any idea which company’s AI API Evernote issuing? I understand that the notes are sent anonymously but many notes have personal info within them, so I’d like to know who they are shared with. Lastly, why do they need to retain the notes for 30 days?
Evernote is using OpenAI. As for deleting the notes, I agree that this is a little uncomfortable, and I am trying to understand why it works this way. For the moment, all I can see is that it is in line with the industry standard. Even social media sites take a long time to completely delete our data.
Fantastic! I guess this could make a good substitute for the old Context feature to find elated note content. It’d be nice if you of see this in an optional section on the note window ☕️
It's kind of, right? The way it works today demands action from the user while Context was automatic. But if I had to choose between the two, I would choose AI-Powered Search without blinking. It would always show the notes. Thank you so much for the coffee 💚
Is it possible to use the new Evernote AI search feature to create a summary of a very long note, just targeting one note at a time? This would be useful when we are curating and gathering long articles whether by uploading PDF's or clipping from the web... but have not had a chance to read them in detail. Having Evernote consume the content for us, and then create a summary with bullet points that we can pin to the top of the note, would be very helpful.
🔴 IMPORTANT. Please note that this feature has just been released, and it may take a while for it to propagate to all Evernote users.
Does the AI Search work with your Portuguese notes and files as well?
Yes, it works perfectly in both languages. But that's not all. I did a test where I asked a question in Portuguese about something I only have notes in English. The answer came back in correct and in Portuguese.
@@vladcampos wooow, that's really impressive. Looking forward to trying this feature 🤩
Can't wait for this. Still don't have it available though. Thanks for the video!
It's out of this world. You'll love it.

Works fine for me. I guess you have uninstalled and reinstalled the app?
I'm sorry to hear that. Everything is working fine here.

It looks very powerful feature. However if I opt in the AI Search, will the content on my notes show in someone else's Bard / ChatGPT session?
According to Bending Spoons, your notes are not used to train the AI and are deleted from the model.

thanks for the video! I don't know if I understand correctly, but can we filter in which folder or container the AI can search for notes?

I can't wait to try this feature. Being able to mine your personal 'knowledge base' is kind of a holy grail in note taking.

In my Evernote there is no AI-powered search. Is AI-powered search available in Evernote only with the paid version?
It's coming. Please read the pinned comment.

🤔 Why wait 30 days to delete AI-Powered Search notes?
Pretty Exciting. Thanks for posting!! 🎉

What can #Evernote's AI do? #Shorts
thanks @@vladcampos
Do I need to do an update to get the new AI feature?
It's automatic. But they started to roll it out recently, so it may take a while to get it. Just make sure you are on the latest version.
Great video, thank you!
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it!
You are soooooooo true.
