Thanks. Collapsible entries are much appreciated! The same goes for aligning images. Small but meaningful changes. That's what I like about Evernote.

Super helpful video showing some features I missed after latest update so thanks for that. I use Notion as well, so looking forward to those / commands in Evernote. I use collapsible toggle headings in Notion all the time so looking forward to that as well.

1) I did NOT notice the color change. 2) I really like having the note title on the information bar -- I tend to have long notes and it is good to be able to just glance up to the title bar. 3) The Calendar button and return arrows can be very convenient (but only IF i can remember that function!) I particularly like the pop=up eye. 4) I generally don't use images in Evernote, so the new sizing ability is not much help for me, but probably is for many people) 5) I like the notification bell function... but would appreciate knowing if I can replay the notifications a week or two after I have already seen them. Is there a way to get back to the old notifications? 6) For me, the translate function is just about the best. I go back and forth between spanish and english and it is good to have that function.
I like this color-coded function. I used Evernote for more than 10 years. Then I switched to Notion, only now I am back to Evernote. I like it because the function is simple and intuitive to use.
Collapsables inside tables would be a great feature
I am not sure what the issue is with tables, but there is always a limitation. Until this day, it's not possible to include a Task in a table. And this is not something restricted to Evernote. There are also some limitations like these on Obsidian.
I ended my premium EN subscription about 10 months ago... these changes are the beginning of me looking at Evernote again. Need these Beta features to be rolled out fully + stronger linking/ better databases. But, it's FINALLY a step back in the right direction.
I love the collapsible sections to hide stuff I am not currently working on, especially for long notes.
Many people love the collapsible headings. I believe I don't care about them because my notes are usually short. The long notes I have are basically the articles I write to publish on my blog and content I click from the web. So, no need to collapse anything there.
@@vladcampos Yes, I can see where many people tend to have mostly short notes and would not have a use for this feature. Before I retired I was using this a lot at work for IT documentation in Atlassian's Confluence, a web based knowledge management system. There are several features in Confluence I'd like to see in Evernote, and collapsible sections was a big one.
Now, I use Evernote to document home projects, such as the research and communication logs for a recent heat pump installation. I also maintain ongoing logs for things like medical/dental appointments, blood tests, illnesses, and car maintenance, where each section is a dated event. I put the newest stuff on top, with the older events collapsed below.

The tip about the calendar doesn't work for me. When I click the "eye" it takes me to a calendar box but when I try to close it down by clicking the "X" it doesn't take me back to the note. It leaves me in the big calendar. Doesn't look like it does on your video.
Oh, no! Is it still like that? You should open a support ticket because I just tested it on all my accounts and in all of them it is working just like I showed in the video.

Please Evernote go back to the old mobile Home screen of widgets instead of the Add buttons. There was nothing wrong with the old way.
I believe you are in a test group. As far as I know, they haven't officially changed that.

Same here. Still seeing old interface. Anyway to download the beta version
With the new breadcrumb, it fixed one problem while, for me, creating another. To the right of the notebook was an area where I could move my note to the proper notebook. I can adjust the way I work. The second-best way I've found is to go up to the ... menu in the upper right, find Move... and proceed.
I will learn this keyboard shortcut (^⌘M), but it seems the little action button to the notebook's right was a productive loss. Thoughts?
You can still click on the "breadcrump -> title of the note", which activates the "move window".
@@Orpheus.Machine I was moving too fast. I put the cursor over the current notebook in the breadcrumb, not the note name. Putting the cursor over the note name does enable the Move note function. Thanks!
so many changes but for so long we suffered with Evernote and then it gets brought out and they fire all the US workers and hike up the plans out of the blue! it's been so frustrating over the years. And now I got the hang of Notion. All of the changes made in Evernote I have in Notion and pretty much for free, minus the simplicity how can I switch back to Evernote with confidence?
I'm back to watching your channel and I'll keep an eye out to see if anything from Evernote moves me to come back.

Not that I know of. It's still in beta.
for one reason or another, Evernote is now not admitting Select All, @#$%&&, And as of yet, there in no possibility to set the type of font one wants.
These function should be having in 5 years ago.
