Thanks for your video. A good video as always. Thanks for share your thoughts experience and ideas. Fresh and useful ideas !! When I need to scan I always use the Scannable app. I love it! Is so easy to use and it connects directly with my Evernote account. It works for me. Thanks again Vlad.

      My pleasure!
As for Scannable, I agree with you, but something tells me it's going away at some point. An Android version was never released, and It doesn't get updates for many years. Also, some of its features are already available on the main App. Imagine if they bring the remaining ones. 🤔
Since my phone is an Android, I use Adobe Scan for more advanced features. Then I send the PDF to Evernote using the phone share menu.

Thanks for sharing. Great video. / i have been using scannable. I think is what I need. I’d like the option of scanning several pages and automatically it saves all pages as a pdf book. I will try the EN scanner and see how it goes. Thanks again. Keep the hard work. Muy buenos tus videos !

The multiple-page scanning is only a Scannable feature. It's not available on the Evernote App. I hope they add it in the future.

I'm on Android and personally prefer Adobe Scan. It always gives great results.

Couldn't agree more. Adobe Scan is a great app. I used it for a while in the past. Nowadays, Evernote's scanner is good enough for what I need.

I use Photo on my phone all the time. I would like to use it on my desktop with a USB camera, can that be done?

If I remember it correctly, before Evernote 10 we could use the computer camera to take pictures. So, maybe they'll bring it back. Meanwhile, I suggest you add this idea to the Feature Requests section of the official forum.

Please please please - this is driving me CRAZY - how can i take a camera snap and instead of it being sent to EverNote as a PNG file for it to be either sent as a JPEG file or a PDF file? Apparently on the net it says this is possible from the settings part of the app but I CANNOT FIND IT. Do you have the answer. I want to scan my documents as PDFs, but they are saving as PNGs. PNGs are useless for most apps - they struggle with them like my ticktick does - handled pdf, jpg but not PNG. I am hoping you can save the day.

There's no way to scan a document in PDF format using the Evernote camera. You have to use another App that does that, and then use the share menu on that App to send the PDF file to Evernote.

What is the difference between Scannable app ans and Evernote camera?

Great question. Scannable was released years ago only for iOS and soon after, a new CEO (not the current one) discontinued several Apps and services. I don't remember it being officially discontinued at that moment, but it stopped getting updates.
That said, it has some additional features. For example, if I'm not mistaken, it is possible to save scans as PDFs.
It is my belief the camera will get more features in the future and maybe Scannable will be finally discontinued.

It hasn’t been updated in two years. That being a big difference. Scannable let’s you save scans directly to your iPhone Camera Roll.
