ALL System of a Down songs will remain timeless. They were an infinite amount of years ahead of their time when they released their first album and still are.
The chorus is so sardonic. I love how the final one is literally SLASHED by the "Where the f*ck are you???", they are literally trying to get people out of their trance, and this is reflected in the song's structure. Masterpiece.

Yeah so, blast off, It's party time has been in my head for a few days which is how I wound up here. System Of A Down is one of the greatest bands of all time.
The nature of man is not so easily changed. There's a reason why very old books with teachings / observations to that fact remain hauntingly relevant no matter how many years go by.
Honestly this trend of posting a month and year and asking if anyone is here is getting old. Music is timeless. really good music is beyond that. So who cares if someone else was listening 10 years ago, 1 year ago or this month. People will always continue to enjoy it forever as long as we and the digital world exist
I love the contrast between the frenetic energy of the verses and the groovyness of the chorus, and then theres the blast off part melting my headphones
System of a down is SO good. For how much recognition theyve gotten I could STILL say theyre underated. Theyre definitely worth what theyve gotten and much more.

Exactly. They won’t even let their family sign up for anything. Nothing. If there is a draft, guess who’s not a citizen here but are in Barbados or some other exotic place. They use dog whistle words like us and freedom and respect and we are better. Everyone wants to come to 😮America. We are just a fancy lie dressed in a beautiful facade with a silver tongue. Actually they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore. Some just come out and say it like jfk speaking of secret governments that are the ones calling the shots. It’s collapsing though and that scares me because we don’t even belong to ourselves. The autonomy they promised, was sold ages ago. Smh 😔

Absolutely. The ending of the song, where they abruptly stop to wear the mind control masks, reminds me of the people who were rebellious as kids, listening to SOAD or RATM and today they support Trump, oppose abortion, civil rights and call the bands they used to love anti-free speech hacks cause they no longer agree with them. It's sad.
@@puglover6113 Ah, so more unsafe abortions on the inevitable black market is good? More dead moms due to risky pregnancies is good? More trauma due to having to carry rape-babies is good? More unwanted and thus often unloved kids is good? If you say yes still, it's because you don't care about actual human well-being, you just care about restricting the freedom of women. You will never be able to "ban" abortions. You're just going to outsource them to other countries, while making those that do happen unsafe and forcing a bunch of children into families that didn't want them.

I'm 62 years old and this band has always been my jam. I'm a music aficionado and I like a lot of stuff but this band mixes angst with opera. Yeah so, blast off, It's party time has been in my head for a few days which is how I wound up here. System Of A Down is one of the greatest bands of all time.
Totally Agree with ur comment
Agreed such a good band
Is it just me or does this song just keep getting more relevant as time goes on. Love this song and video.
Always people in power who seek to make us all their slaves.
Vaccine mandates hitting hard
Indentured servants to an overbearing government.
The nature of man is not so easily changed. There's a reason why very old books with teachings / observations to that fact remain hauntingly relevant no matter how many years go by.
It has been relevant from inception, its been this way for a long time, the system is repetitive
Honestly this trend of posting a month and year and asking if anyone is here is getting old. Music is timeless. really good music is beyond that. So who cares if someone else was listening 10 years ago, 1 year ago or this month. People will always continue to enjoy it forever as long as we and the digital world exist
This song makes me want to go to the party and have a real good time.
It makes me want to dance in the dedert and blow up in the sunshine

I love the contrast between the frenetic energy of the verses and the groovyness of the chorus, and then theres the blast off part melting my headphones
It’s pure aural insanity. It’s honestly genius.
And it goes from a dystopia to a party during the chorus
System of a down is SO good. For how much recognition theyve gotten I could STILL say theyre underated. Theyre definitely worth what theyve gotten and much more.

democrasy shit. a lot of "self-righteous" kings of the dark ages lie on ground with his peasant soldiers but our democrat leaders of "the people" are too important for to die in a battleground. i think if the kings had oppurnity of sending kids to school after their 5 age, they'll think either monarchy is the best goverment type for human honour. but we're living in republics so we think republics are best.
what does the first line even mean, and yes lets just send the richest people on earth to fight
@@luluna5228 Why is it that the people that declare the wars never have to fight them
Smh 😔

Cuz this is why they exist. No president, senator, no politicians will ever care about the people. We're only paws for then and their desires...

Absolutely.
