I only watch the news for weather and sports because after that it's always bad news. Now this is good news the kind of news I would like to see more of. Showing the good side of humanity instead of showing 83% bad side of humanity. Good job fellas on the rescue!

Bravo to these guys, at first I was thinking "are they mad? Jumping onto the tracks to save someone trying to self-delete is not worth your own life my friend" Then they said they reached a hand down to drag him out, and then thought "yeah that's a better play"

They're trying to create a feel-good video. The story of how we leave our mentally ill to wander the streets and trains being preyed upon by criminals is anything but.

Wow. That's incredible. It isn't often we ever hear anything good from the news. Side comment: I wonder where exactly is the high voltage line that must be near the tracks? All three were in jeopardy of not only getting hit by the BART train - but electrocuted with lethal high voltage. Despite those odds it's a job well done by local heroes. Thank you!

You know what would make this kind of track encroachment much much harder...platform screen doors...
Also would set the stage for future ATC systems allowing for higher frequency and such as well
We have a closed system that doesn't interact with other traffic...we should be able automate the trains...would also allow us to reduce the length per train but increase the number of trips without incurring too much more costs once the system is set up

automated fences are in many other countries, quite the humiliation the US can't have any of that
