    Below ground is best. No accidents. No congestion. No divided neighborhoods. No loss of aesthetic qualities. No pollution. People mover.

    It’s over 2 years later, this project was handled by the most incompetent team ever assembled. Bankrupt most of the Business on the streets from being closed down.
    I’m used to seeing underground trains construction even many times bigger then this in China and Japan be done in a mater of months.
    What a laughing stock of the world. Except for the individuals pocketing the tax payer money.
    My in-laws from Shanghai came back to San Francisco two years later, they could no believe a small project like this was still being worked on.
    LOL 😂. My in-laws said in their country, the person responsible and maybe whole family would disappear. We need this kind of thinking here in the USA.

      @@coldfinger459sub0 alioto had no backing from sacramento or our reps. he was laughed out of dc by senators and house reps who were all in the pockets of big oil and the car manufacturers. he saw the future and couldnt get past those pols who needed to line their pockets...and now, we are paying for it.

      @@thewkovacs316 about 72 years ago when my mom was a little girl she remembered when they ripped up all the Electric street cars for a public transportation all around San Francisco to be replaced with buses.
      San Francisco once had a world class street car transportation system with access to every part of the city.

    It’s 2021 and this station causes so much traffic on the weekends cause of all the construction

  • @douglasmcpherson7048
    @douglasmcpherson7048 5 лет назад +10

    The best thing San Francisco could have done to alleviate traffic. The original line up market is fine. But North beach and the marina has always been underserved. Busses won’t cut it. Too much traffic.

    This whole project will have been well worthwhile IF they bring the line to Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 39. That's as far as the (T) needs to go.
