There have been graffitti "movies" kinda like skate part vids for a long time. Some of them are WILD. Like doing a whole subway in 5min, flashing a gun to the guards, running to the tunnels when the subway moves (and there is like a pattern to it so you don't fall and get electrocuted). Like highly calculated. Then doing some Crazy places some Huge piece in a country where you are donzo if you get caught. I have heard some insider stuff from back in the day about bigbig crews in Europe and the stuff is wild and the ones doing it highly calculated, their jobs would suprise people (like I just know around about). Many are not bums who are in massive debt. Make the plans so fool proof to not mess their lives in some cases by getting caught.
i live in a fairly ghetto neighborhood and seeing graffiti was a norm for me. some on houses, painted cinderblock walls, trucks, pretty much anywhere. but there was a massive section in the freeway i took daily to school where there would be loads of different graffs lined up next to each other, all with a different style and colors. i always found it comforting to watch them pass, taking in the view of them. unfortunately, it’s been painted over but a few new ones remaining new ones remain. still, it’s not the same. since then, i’ve gotten into art (not graffiti but i’m deeply fascinated by it) and always take some to wonder where the people who left their works are now.
I honestly feel like graffiti shouldn’t be illegal just because it’s so pretty and cool to see how much time and effort people put into this and it’s so amazing when you see the art all over the city

Right! Like when you see some super complicated piece on the side of an overpass on the interstate. Conjures up images of this guy with a bunch of rope, hangin off the side doing his thing.
There used to be a train car that came through my small town on a pretty regular basis that everyone called "the lunch box" because someone graffitied a bunch of different food all over it on both sides. Sadly one day it stopped rolling through and nobody has ever seen it again(probably got re-painted at a railyard somewhere) but it was still a pretty iconic train car for a good few years in my town
Yes, but only if every single railcart like this (or every 2-6 carts). Imo only 2 arts for whole train doesn't fit at all. I have nothing against arts themselves.
