Don't stop there. Look at IT and management. I work there for a short period of time and noticed many people absent from work many days of the week every week. I suggest you look at IT employees and the management staff overall as a whole. In fact, any employee who has a job that spans field requirements should be evaluated. There are no controls in place to watch these employees or to even verify the work they say they're doing is getting done. Bart is one of the biggest absolute messes of a place to work that I ever encountered in my 30-year career. Most of the people there seem like they're buying time and collecting paychecks for doing nothing. Very discouraging place to be.

There has been no checks and balances for BART so the employees are getting free money and yet the fare prices keep going up every year. We've been hoping for change for years, but this is still happening. BART really needs another agency to keep it in check. Ridership has been down significantly since the pandemic and the conditions continue to get worse. If I can avoid taking BART, I will find alternative ways of transportation.
