I just had this really strange theory. What if, by the end of the show, Danny will die and the way she died is by sacraficing herself the same way Azor Ahai's wife did. In this case, Jon would be Azor Ahai, and her blood, is what turns jon's blade into literal fire? The reason i think this might be possible is because in the house of the undying we see snow on the iron throne. Which alot of people speculate it means jon would be on the iron throne. Which it'd make more sense for him to be on the iron throne if Danny wasn't alive, because i really doubt she'd be cool with him just being on it after all she's been through. Also, still in the house of the undying, we see that Danny has a vision of what can only be described as the after life, so it's pretty certain she'll die by the end of the story. George RR also told us that the story would have a bitter sweet ending, and what would be more bitter sweet than having Danny die for the sake of the realm? Other reasons i thought it would be possible is because the story is called a song of ice and fire. It's pretty obvious Danny is the fire, but it's also pretty certain jon is the Ice. Another thing would be the last line in the quaithe's prophecy "to touch the light you must pass beneath the shadow", maybe the shadow refers to death, and the light refers to lightbringer, Azor Ahai's legendary sword. Idk, maybe i'm grapsing at straws, feel free to pick apart the theory.
I think Daenerys is the fire and the ice are the white walkers. I forgot about her visions in the house of the undying. That actually adds to my theory I think the snow on the throne could represent Westeros(kings landing even) Being taken by the others. My theory is that Daenerys is Azor Ahia and her dragons are the "flaming sword" She'll reclaim Westeros after the white walkers take over completely. On the bitter sweet ending I think most character besides Dani will be killed off and since Daenerys really isn't a fan favorite it'll suck for some people having her end up being the hero of a song of fire and ice.
lightshadow121 Idk about her not being a fan favorite, shes definitely up there. I was kind of on board with that theory until jon snow's death and Resurrection. Killing off a character is a big deal, especially in game of thrones. It seems unlikely that he got raised from the dead just to play a minor role in things to come. I don't think she'll get there after the white walkers have already taken over. It doesn't seem like she'll be staying in slaver's bay much longer consider that ships are going to her right now. Idk, jon representing the ice part of the song which maybe fights daenerys or helps her push back the white walkers makes more sense to me.
thekingof300 Or walkers start showing up in the east like they supposedly did in the past and Daenerys pushes them back(Azor Ahia) and Jon and the North alliance pushes them back in Westeros(the last hero) or maybe Jon loses the final stand off against the others and is forced to flee to Essos and joins up with Dany. +SenpaiGuild Probably a budget problem, they're a TV show after all so their budget isn't as high as with a movie. The battle at the Fist of the First Men was in season 2, so they cut big battles, just like the Battle at the Green Fork in Season 1. Hardhome was Season 5, the budget is probably way bigger than in Season 1 or 2
+TheAnakinn It could have been the season 3 premiere coz season 2 ends with a bunch of wights marching towards the fist. And season 3 had no big battle.
+SenpaiGuild While what Anakinn is saying is correct, I also think it was for suspense purpose. Imagine being shown basically a light weight version of what is sure to be the ending of the show, and still have six seasons left. The narrative they've built and the pacing of the show is really what seperates it from the rest.
Nah, White Walkers in the show’s story were nothing but a bunch of blue-balls. They weren’t even a real threat. All it takes is some little ninja-girl to beat them. Just get a half-trained Faceless Man and BAM! War’s over.
@@stephaniemomma no if I remember correctly they have something to do with the Ice spiders. Would have to looking for for that particular piece of lore but, I don't remember any references to a nights queen.
@@rayclawicefire2503 the night queen also referred to as the corpse queen was an alleged consort of the night king, her appearance such as skin as pale as the moon, white hair and blue as starlight led people to believe she was an other. Maesters argue she was a daughter of King Barrow who was himself associated with kings and burials.
Scince this is a Song of Ice and Fire, the Ice represents White Walkers, Others, Winter, The Long Night and Death but what does the Fire represent? maybe Summers are a catastrophe in Sothoryos and southern Islands - Volcanos, Dragons and Summer might represent the Fire.
Awesome video as always civ!! Was it really Azor Ahai who built and/or manned the five forts? I thought it was one of the Yi Ti-ish emperors who was responsible for that.
+Charlie In Westeros It was the Yi Ti (Pearl Emperor), I just meant they manned the forts afterwards like Westeros manned the wall, Azor Ahai was not involved in the construction as far as we know.
I'm a little confused about the Night's King. According to the lore, he was a commander of the Night's Watch and became a worshiper, but I heard from the show creators that the man sacrificed in S6EP5 is indeed the Night's King. I guess they're taking some liberties, but in the books do they specify at all about the commander of the White Walkers?
In the books the Night King is a historical figure, not necessarily a current day leader of the Others, though we know little about them so far so who knows.
+Brian Maleska in the history and lore segments of the show, the Night's King we know in the books is documented. The Night King we known in the show is likely the original Other, weather the books do something similar to this isn't known rn(tho there is evidence of a Great Other). But it is most likely a title given to the show's "Great Other" that's what I prefer to call him since that's more likely what he is. The Night's King is just a title.
I've always wondered how the White Walkers attacked Yi-Ti, how did they even get there in the first place? It's been confirmed that the Children of the Forest created them during the first invasion of men to Westeros. So the world it's either connected somehow in the north or there are other children of the Forest in Essos, or maybe just maybe, the show explained the origin of the white walkers differently. I'd prefer an unknown-demonic origin that doesn't involve humanoid plants stabbing men with dragonglass to create such monsters. Same dragonglass that kill them by stabbing them, wtf?
CivilizationEx yeah I guess in such passage the temperature is so cold that only these creatures can go through, so no man has ever crossed and that's why nobody knows about it
there is in fact a lot of questions. 1 why did the night king waited 2000 years to inaved? 2 why the night king waited another 8000 to inaved again? 3 who was the ice woman that 13 LC married? as far as we know there is no women WW. only men 4 why did not the children and first men built the wall as soon as they pushed WW back to the north? 5 the humans living in the far north, knew about the NK? why did they stayed there (and later become the wildnings) 6 how did the nigh king create its WW 8000 years ago? can it be any human or just by toutching a baby?
In the books the Night King is not the leader of the White Walkers as far as we know, he was a leader of the nights watch who started his own kingdom and was killed. Legends say he may have been a White Walker but we don't know for sure. Same with his wife.
i am so curious about the others and the long night that has yet to come. it'd be awesome to read or watch about their invasion in the east. where would they come from? (There's no lands of always Winter there) Asshai also seems very dark and mysterious, I wonder if it or the shadow lands has any significance? will the armies or east and west band together to fight off the cold
+Eddie LM In addition to this, we *know* that there is a shit ton of unreliable narration in this story, and we know from old European and Asian cartography, that middle age people don't know shit about maps. Essos might very well curve upwards beyond Asshai, or even somewhere around the Dothraki sea. After all, there is little to none civilization in many parts of Essos, and only handful of westerosi have ever explored the continent. Also, I can't figure out where the equator is in planetos. There are dark skinned people in the summer isles, so if we take our world as an example, that must mean a warmer, sunnier climate can be found to the south. It would seem that Dorne is like Spain/Morocco, with The Reach and the Westerlands bein France, the Riverlands Germany, the North Scandinavia and so on, but that would place the equator a good distance south of Dorne, and that would mean that Planetos is something like 2½-3 times the length of Westeros, and naturally the same width, since it's a globe. We have absolutely no idea what's south of Dorne, and what's west of the Iron Islands, as well as what's north of the lands of always winter. To make matters even worse, I just remembered that the white walker crib is in permafrost, and had lots of aurora borealis, meaning that that could easily be the actual north pole of Planetos. That would place Westeros and Essos even further north, and mean that there is even more unexplored space south of Dorne. Fuck man, GRRM needs to get his geography together.
Like your videos and for the last two books which are Unpublished they might be based on seasons 6 to 8 of the TV series with the White Walkers breaching Eastwatch by the Sea
I love ur pics of waymer? Royce. first one looks like a ughhh? face. second looks like the others put gotic dragqueen makeup on him. The Others best make up artists of all time.💄⛄
They are similar heroes from the same event, and might be based on the same character from long ago, or they both might also be myths based on some vaguely related ancient event. Hard to say at this point.
The White Walkers are a splinter group of the children of the forrest that preformed magic on themselves to change to make them able to defeat the first men.
So essos is westoreos but side ways and their capital are on the bottom right (valerian for essos but if essos turn up right valerian would be bottom right)
I believe a deal was made but it was 8000 years ago. And it was forgetted by the people. But I don't think it was about all the people having leave the (Wildlings) Land that was always frozen.
isn't azor ahai who saved westeros during the long night from the others? because in the video of timeline of Ice and fire you mention that it was azor ahai who pushed the white walkers back to the far north. just need a little clarification ! thank you
+Ashutosh Akella In Westeros the hero was simply known as "The Last Hero", in the far east they had a similar story about a great hero, and then the Red God followers gave him the name Azor Ahai. So it's basically the same character, a last hero who rises, unifies mankind and drives back the Others. But his name is different in other places.
The others, also known as the souls of strippers, originated in the Pacific Northwest of the North American Continent in a liberal sanctuary city called Portland.
In the book they are primarily called the Others but also called the White Walkers sometimes. In the show they decided to just go with the White Walkers, probably because the Others was a name used on the show Lost.
ok...so I I hope somebody who is a Game of Thrones geek like me can explain this to me... *The children of the forest bar the original natives of Westeros and never lived in essos... And as the last HBO episode explained to us ( and other Game of Thrones fanatics hypothesized in previous videos) the white walkers were creation of the children of the forest to combat the race of men in the war in the age of Heroes... so all that being said, how is it that the continent of essos had Legends of similar creatures as the white walkers? Shouldn't that be specific to Westeros only? I love to hear somebody's response!
We don't know for sure yet, but it's possible East essos is connected to Westeros through the frozen north (lands of always winter). So the Others may have been able to march east during the war.
I heard somewhere that Martin confirmed his world is indeed round, therefore it's not impossible that creatures in the West could somehow manage to reach the far East.
Another thing that doesnt make sense: why a war machine created to exterminate man just retreat in the deep north and do nothing for thousands of year, allowing humans to grow in numbers.... not the best strategy....
Brian Mcbrian Well if they were defeated in battle, like the legends claim, they would have lost many of their people. Maybe it was them who needed the time to replenish their numbers. Or maybe they signed a peace treaty that we don't know about, and now feel that humans have broken it for some reason (like maybe wildlings living past the wall, meaning the wall was a territorial border)
CivilizationEx so what? baby white walker take hundred s of year to grow up and become a full white walker able to raise undead? But the children created the night king because they were in a very bad situation in he war.... creating a weapon who needs hundreds of years to reproduce doesnt seem very effective. Maybe its the tv show who didnt handle it well. Or Maybe the children turned on their creation, weaken it but not able to destroy it. The wall seem mor like a protection from them than a border, isnt coldhand saying that some magic prevent him from going south of the wall in the books?
The Others are the weakest part of the show. They are just zombies, and don't even get me started on the Night King (In the show). He is a useless, lazy excuse for writing that the general watchers of GOT seem to love. People are strange. GRRM, we need 'Winds' please help us. HBO has already spoiled your ending in a mediocre fanfiction not worthy of your franchise.
+j Masonn in the books there is no Night King from the show. In the books he was the Night's King, an ancient traitor of the nights watch. He is a figure of history, not the leader of the White Walkers.
in GOT tv show is there some kind of other then the knights king is there some kind of leader group in the others i mean we saw the lich king make babies a other babies we saw from a far 8 or so other are those people from the watch.
I really didn't understand your question, but allow me to try and answer. In the show it is implied that the Other who turned the baby into a Other was in fact the Night King.
You made it sound so hopeless at the end lol! The world is in for a rude awakening. If the Game of Thrones continues, the Others will rape the living and have a dead world to rule, the Endless Night will be. Nobles need to get their shit together. Jon Snow is the one! The White Wolf lives!

I kinda like the Other/White walkers show story more. Its the only thing on the show i like more then the books.I mean they actually showed Hardhome and the Nights King.I am dissapointed they had the Battle at the fist off screen.I mean we know what happened and all but it would have been cool to see it.
+SenpaiGuild Probably a budget problem, they're a TV show after all so their budget isn't as high as with a movie. The battle at the Fist of the First Men was in season 2, so they cut big battles, just like the Battle at the Green Fork in Season 1. Hardhome was Season 5, the budget is probably way bigger than in Season 1 or 2
+TheAnakinn
It could have been the season 3 premiere coz season 2 ends with a bunch of wights marching towards the fist. And season 3 had no big battle.
SenpaiGuild
True, but they probably blew most of the budget on CGI with the climbing of the Wall and the Sack of Astapor.
War’s over.
I'd really like to see some female White Walkers in GoT
+Martin I think no ladies walkers they need human males to make more of them.
Sophia Wilson there has been female white Walkers such as Lady Winter.
@@rayclawicefire2503 is that the nights queen?
CivilizationEx oh ok, I caught the nuance now! (In my head I was putting both thoughts together - must be because I'm back in Quebec atm :P )
They could be two different persons with the same title, like the many Kings-Beyond-the-Wall
GRRM said the Night's King is a title.
Ones the Night King and the other is the Night's King
I've always wondered how the White Walkers attacked Yi-Ti, how did they even get there in the first place? It's been confirmed that the Children of the Forest created them during the first invasion of men to Westeros. So the world it's either connected somehow in the north or there are other children of the Forest in Essos, or maybe just maybe, the show explained the origin of the white walkers differently. I'd prefer an unknown-demonic origin that doesn't involve humanoid plants stabbing men with dragonglass to create such monsters. Same dragonglass that kill them by stabbing them, wtf?
We don't know for sure, but there is a theory that Westeros is connected to Essos through the Lands of Always Winter.
CivilizationEx yeah I guess in such passage the temperature is so cold that only these creatures can go through, so no man has ever crossed and that's why nobody knows about it
GRRM said his world is round so the continents probably are connected
GRRM said his world is round so the continents probably are connected
Are the Five Forts of Yi Ti still manned at all?
there is in fact a lot of questions.
1 why did the night king waited 2000 years to inaved?
2 why the night king waited another 8000 to inaved again?
3 who was the ice woman that 13 LC married? as far as we know there is no women WW. only men
4 why did not the children and first men built the wall as soon as they pushed WW back to the north?
5 the humans living in the far north, knew about the NK? why did they stayed there (and later become the wildnings)
6 how did the nigh king create its WW 8000 years ago? can it be any human or just by toutching a baby?
I love your videos man cant wait till your next video :D
The show ruined these guys in order to appeal to the general audience......I firmly believe that the general audience ruins all things nerd :/
Just look how the people of Burlington Bar cheered for Arya when she killed the Night King...
@@SwfanredLotr I cheered but that scene was wrong, very wrong
StaticLocs you go anywhere on the internet and any kind of media site everyone shits on this season. Wtf are you taking about.
I love ur pics of waymer? Royce. first one looks like a ughhh? face. second looks like the others put gotic dragqueen makeup on him. The Others best make up artists of all time.💄⛄
i thought the last hero and azor ahai were the same person
They are similar heroes from the same event, and might be based on the same character from long ago, or they both might also be myths based on some vaguely related ancient event. Hard to say at this point.
The White Walkers are a splinter group of the children of the forrest that preformed magic on themselves to change to make them able to defeat the first men.
That's in the show only. This video is about the books.
Really good ! Thks !
what's beautiful a bout them??
Good👍 video👍
Now the NK has left a mark on Bran, he can get past the wall or just bring it down.
it could be doran martell, but i'm not sure..
+kejvin daberdini What are you talking about?
i fucking answered to the wrong coment lol, sorry
at 6:36 who is the guy between littlefinger and varys?
The High Sparrow maybe?
+Ro Vil Prince Doran Martell of Dorne
+CivilizationEx thanks civ, i love your vids (=
+Ro Vil Martell dude
Little did we all know the litttle Arya would end this all
So essos is westoreos but side ways and their capital are on the bottom right (valerian for essos but if essos turn up right valerian would be bottom right)
I believe a deal was made but it was 8000 years ago. And it was forgetted by the people. But I don't think it was about all the people having leave the (Wildlings) Land that was always frozen.
you should do an coheed and cambria amory wars video
DUuuuuude I forgot about Small fuckin Paul!
wow, I thought the lands of always winter were quite small
excellent summery
Was really annoyed that the show made the Whites Frozen corpses, instead of a race of great beauty with pale skin and blue eyes.
dude can you upload a word file with the contents of a video written ?
i'd love to translate it to my language if you don't mind
+Ahmed Tarek send me an email civilizationex@gmail.com and I will email you back with a word file :)
They the opposite of the targaryens
Who was first the hero or the dude from yiti
isn't azor ahai who saved westeros during the long night from the others? because in the video of timeline of Ice and fire you mention that it was azor ahai who pushed the white walkers back to the far north.
just need a little clarification ! thank you
+Ashutosh Akella In Westeros the hero was simply known as "The Last Hero", in the far east they had a similar story about a great hero, and then the Red God followers gave him the name Azor Ahai. So it's basically the same character, a last hero who rises, unifies mankind and drives back the Others. But his name is different in other places.
+CivilizationEx thank you :) love your video! Makes me love the beauty of this world even more
Considering in the book they don't have a dragon, how do they plan on getting past the Wall?
they called white walkers in the book????? i dont remember
Yes they were, but it was a secondary name, the primary name was "Others"
The others, also known as the souls of strippers, originated in the Pacific Northwest of the North American Continent in a liberal sanctuary city called Portland.
God dammit WE NEED WINGS OF WINTER
Wasn't Will the one who survived and was later executed?
Vtron I think he was in the show but in the books it was Gared.
I have a question, in the books, they call them "the others" but on the show they call them "white walkers", why?
In the book they are primarily called the Others but also called the White Walkers sometimes. In the show they decided to just go with the White Walkers, probably because the Others was a name used on the show Lost.
@@CivilizationEx Thanks!
wrong fact: will was the one ned killed, not gared
In the books it was Gared who fled south and was killed by Ned.
shame there's little about stygai yeen :( would make great videos
So are the others blood elves
where do you get all this information? is it all contained in the five books?
+Lollo Sag The 5 books plus the history book and all the companion books.
ok...so I I hope somebody who is a Game of Thrones geek like me can explain this to me...
U Da Best Broski 👍🏿👍🏿😎💊☺️
Still pissed they never showed the ice spiders. 🤓😎✌🏻
Magics, is that grammatically correct?
another point, if the others invaded Yi Ti or Essos, why didn't their people take precaution and build their own wall or sumthin
+smellsFlSHY They did, they built the 5 forts.
+Eddie LM there is theory that land bridge between Essos and Land of Always Winter and that how they got there first time when they attack.
Eddie LM ok thanks you
Who was the brown man beneath little finger
Doran Martell
civ, what do you think of the theory that the Others are not actually evil.
+jonah feldman I never thought they were evil, to me they are basically Ice Elves with powerful magic.
i agree
So the wite walkers are viking
I wish this wasn’t the only way I could watch GOT
the dead should have at least reached moat cailin. what happened on winterfell was...... uhhhg
The Others are the weakest part of the show. They are just zombies, and don't even get me started on the Night King (In the show). He is a useless, lazy excuse for writing that the general watchers of GOT seem to love. People are strange. GRRM, we need 'Winds' please help us. HBO has already spoiled your ending in a mediocre fanfiction not worthy of your franchise.
that must have been one hot cold white walker. anyone know what her name was?
So the others were first? And then the night king
+j Masonn in the books there is no Night King from the show. In the books he was the Night's King, an ancient traitor of the nights watch. He is a figure of history, not the leader of the White Walkers.
CivilizationEx ohhhhh okay so the others were they created by the children of the forest or just tv version
So far the books have not revealed where the Others came from, but it will probably be the same as the show, created by the Children of the Forest.
CivilizationEx nice thank youuu
@@CivilizationEx no way... It wont be like that... They are a race that suddenly came. And I dont like the back story...
Is it bad that I wanted them to win
in GOT tv show is there some kind of other then the knights king is there some kind of leader group in the others i mean we saw the lich king make babies a other babies we saw from a far 8 or so other are those people from the watch.
I really didn't understand your question, but allow me to try and answer. In the show it is implied that the Other who turned the baby into a Other was in fact the Night King.
How about obsidian
That isnt in the books at all
What accent are you speaking in? Your voice goes up and down throughout the whole vid and it drives me crazy. Great content though
Man, nights queen was a babe
How come the White "Walkers" always ride dead horses?🤓😎✌🏻

What about the other side ? Where is Deneris now , others are not showing anymore there ?
Dyneris
Daenerys*
I'm confused
check out my theory as to why the long night ended
You guys are freaky
and to think that they all could be defeated by a teenage girl
You made it sound so hopeless at the end lol! The world is in for a rude awakening. If the Game of Thrones continues, the Others will rape the living and have a dead world to rule, the Endless Night will be.
Nobles need to get their shit together. Jon Snow is the one! The White Wolf lives!
Ruben Avalos The White Walkers will keep some humans around they need them to reproduce.
Raeven Durocher-Batley That's only a show thing thus far.
subtitulos please!! Excelente!
Miguel Angel Ok, this is epic.
