Mark you need to try using cattle cubes for chum. They have cottonseed meal in them & Catfish, Carp & Baitfish love them. You can get a 50lb bag at the feed store for 10 or 12 bucks. Seriously give it a try!

Been here in az for a week, caught a huge carp in the canal. Pb fish, idk how much it weighed but ive caught plenty of bass pushing 4-6lbs and that carp was heavy.

If that is Arrowhead lakes i started fishing that 30 years ago when it went in. there is a spot by the bird preserve we used to pull 4-5 lb large mouth out of there all the time.

I have a question, what do you use for carp? There’s lots of medium carp near me, and I know you are good at baiting, so if you see this please help me out, I tried corn but only caught tilapia.

Yea and no it’s kinda good to have a larger bank line where you attract fish so you can make more broad casts. In the colder months one area does better tho
