You should fish at pecan Lake in Queen Creek. I went fishing there this morning caught a nice big catfish. They also have bass Croppie and some Koi fish. If you’re able to catch them and show them to the people that work there they will give you $10 because the koi fish are supposed to be in a smaller area that they escaped from
Is the lake privately owned or can all people go fish it?
@@sebastianrios3133 I think the town of Queen Creek owns it so people can fish there the lake/botanical garden area is only open on Saturdays. Here’s their fishing rules.PECAN LAKE FISHING RULES
Fishing Rules
Admission is required prior to fishing for all participants.
Open Fishing during regular open hours only (SCHEDULE YOUR VISIT).
Adult supervision is required for all age groups.
All fishing rules of the Arizona Game and Fish Department will apply.
Participants must use BARBLESS HOOKS ONLY (provided)
Fishing permit is CATCH & RELEASE ONLY.
Anglers are responsible for providing all necessary supplies to fish in the lake (fishing pole, fishing line, swivel, bait, etc.).
Only one pole (per participant) in the water at a time.
All anglers must fish from the grass shoreline. Do not get in the water. Waders or boats are not allowed. NO FISHING FROM BRIDGES
For the balance of the QCBG ecosystem, only live and/or dead bait will be allowed. No casting of lures or artificial bait permitted.
Our fish LOVE Hot dogs, worms, and cheese!
@@sebastianrios3133 all people can fish there, but the lake/botanical garden area is only open on Saturdays and you’re only allowed to use barbless hooks because it’s catch and release only there and I think the only bait that they allow you to use is worms, hotdogs cheese I think you can also use chicken liver and bread no power bait no lures or jigs just barbless hooks

Very cool man. It's always fun to hit those urban lakes. I recently got a few bluegills on a beetle pattern with my flyrod. Sometimes i can even get the carp with it but this last time, they didn't want it lol

I tried cherry coolaid hotdogs after seeing it on utube for catfish. 5 minutes after casting it my pole bent over like I've never seen it do before. I thought i had a big catfish but as I got it closer I saw a orange color and I netted the biggest carp I've ever seen. It was well over 20 lbs. Only his head fit in my net.

Hey man just wanted say thanks for all the awesome videos you make your one of my favorite RUclipsrs, also video recommendation, you should try to fish at Paloma park for a video it’s out in Peoria and I just fished there and caught a ton of bluegill and one catfish and they just stocked catfish and I’m pretty sure there going to stock bass in a few weeks.

Fish at crossroads caught 9 catfish in one day I’ve been there 2 times the second time I caught 5 bluegill and 2 common carp
I have fished it a few times and had about the same success. Kind of out of the way for me now tho
