@ mobile madman - Hello There, Thanks a lot for your encouraging comment. You are absolutely right about the olympus menus. It takes a long time to remember where your settings are eventhough super control panel helps. I tried a lot to find a simple and useful olympus tutorial when i bought my omd. There are very good blogs about it but very few youtube videos. That's the reason why i thought of making one since a lot of people search youtube for tutorials. I am so glad it clicked. Cheers !!
Most of this was basic but important to take the time and get these settings right. Well done and thank you! We spend so much money on these great cameras and it makes a whole difference. Especially turning off that 'noise filter' and keeping warm colors 'off' in auto WB. Makes a huge difference.
@ P Raker - Hi There, Thanks a lot for your kind words. I do appreciate it. You are absolutely right about the money that we spend on cameras and photography in general. I totally agree with the difference that changing settings make. I always think that all camera companies make their default setting the best settings for getting the most out of their cameras. Atleast for Jpeg images that most people use it for. But that's not happening. Well, RUclips tutorials and online blogs help. But still there may be many people who never change settings at all and feel unhappy about their purchase. Anyways all the best for your photography P Raker. Cheers!!
Thank you much! I bought Pen F and put it on the shelf always thinking of selling it because the menus are confusing and I got discouraged. I bought a second EPL-7 and came here. In 20 minutes you helped me get past my frustrations. I will try these on the Pen F too.
@svvancouver3307 - Thank you so much for your kind words. I am really happy that the video was helpful to you :) Best Wishes for your Photographic Journey..
I have just bought my camera and have spent all day searching for the best tutorials because I want to get to taking my pictures tomorrow! You are the last person I found and THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CLEAR IN YOUR TUTORIAL!!! Thank you so much!
@ Elizabeth Torres - Hello Elizabeth, Firstly, Enjoy your new camera & Thanks a lot for your kind words. I don't think i am the most knowledgeable. But i tried my best to make it simple & clear. When i bought my camera i searched a lot for tutorials. Robin Wong's & Gary Ayton's blogs were super useful, I have written what i needed. but i still had to try it and make sure it works for me and to find some more useful things for easy shooting and editing. Anyways i am really happy that people find this video simple & useful :) All the Best for your photography Elizabeth !!
This is a wonderful tutorial! You're demonstrating slow enough for first timers like me to follow. Thank you so much! I feel like I am learning instead of listening to other videos that babble on like a review rather than a tutorial.
@ ティラ - Hello there, Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot to read comments like yours and find my effort is getting success. Well, I am a slow learner myself and i only understand things when it's explained slow and simple. That's the same method i used here anyways. All the Best my Friend..
Great Tutorial.Thank you So much.I have a had my Olympus 5 Mark 2 for over year. and your tutorial was so clear to understand. I have had trouble getting my head around the menus on this camera . I am looking forward to taking better photos. Thanks Jithesh
@ raymond mckinnon - Hello Raymond, Thank you so much for your kind words. It was exactly my intention to make this video clear and easy to understand. Olympus EM5 Mark2 is an awesome camera and i am sure you will have some excellent photographs during your photographic journey. All the Best Ray..
@ G Gray - Thanks a lot for your kind words G Gray. I really appreciate that. I struggled a lot in the beginning to get the result i want from my olympus em10. Ofcourse changing to good glass does help. But to know the best Jpeg settings in camera was a difficult task especially olympus has a long list of menus. Robin Wong's & Gary Ayton's blogs were super useful, but i still had to try it and make sure it works for me and to find some more useful things for easy shooting and editing. Anyways i am really happy that people find this video simple & useful :)
@ Anil Venad - Hi Anil, Sorry about the late reply. Thanks a lot for your kind words. EM5 is a good camera. A simplified menu system is always good. Anyways All the Best..
Thank you so much for this. Even though I own the omd 10 mark III, I thought I had the best settings but luckily I was wrong. I say luckily because the photos that are already good will become amazing. I just love Oly cameras!
Just bought a penf after using Nikon SLRS for many years! I love the camera but settings a little complicated. After watching many videos I was still not able to get my head round it! This video has really helped me .... so easy to understand. Feel so relieved I will now be able to use the camera effectively. Thank you.
@ Jan Hawksworth - Hello Jan, Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot to read comments like yours and find my effort is getting success. It was exactly my intention to make this video simple and clear. To be honest, i searched and experimented a lot to find the best settings for jpeg photos when i bought my Olympus EM10 2. I am from a DSLR background too. Anyway so glad to hear the video is helpful. All the Best Jan..
@ Mark Mertens - Hi Mark, Thank you so much for your kind words. It was exactly my intention to make this video simple and clear. To be honest, i searched and experimented a lot to find the best settings for jpeg photos. I am from a DSLR background. I was so used to zoom in photos and crop heavily while editing. I was not happy with my MFT purchase in the beginning until i started using Olympus 25 & 45 primes and changed camera settings and started editing with olympus viewer. I wish these tips are helpful for new Olympus users. Cheers !!
Thank you again! I felt nervous yet confident in taking pictures today based on your tutorial. Still so much to learn and thank you for sharing the blogger info. Will look in that today.
Hello Jithesh - Thank you for your speedy response. Yes I found Olympus Viewer 3 in the CD I received with the camera. Please continue your good work. Look forward to many more useful instructions from you.
@ Tracy Hill - Hello Tracy, Thank you so much for your kind words. It was exactly my intention to make this video simple and clear. It's really encouraging to read comments like yours and come to know my effort is getting success and people find these videos helpful. All the Best for your photography journey Tracy..
I am used to Nikon and Canon for 30 years and I had to do my homework using the mini Pen. This Video helps a lot. Editing with Photoshop does not lose your Olympus look though.
@ U-777 zevennaam - Hello There, Thanks a lot for your comment. I am still a Canon user by the way. But i like Olympus too. To be honest, I don't use photoshop anymore as i don't edit nowadays. Laziness, nothing else. But i am very happy with Jpeg photos. All the Best..
I have learned so much by watching your video. Your step by step demonstrations and clear explanations really set a very high standard. I have been able to stop trying to work it all out on my pdf Olympus manual! Thank you.
@ Roger Barnes - Hello Roger, Thanks a lot for your comment Mate. I am a kind of person who understand things easily if explained in an easy step by step method. That's the exact reason i made this video like this eventhough it makes the video longer. I am so glad you find it helpful. To be honest i never read the olympus manual. instead i found online blogs and tutorials really helpful to try different settings and find what works for each. I strongly believe that the most difficult task is trying to make things easy and i am constantly trying for that. All the best Roger. Merry X-Mas. Keep Clicking & Make memories :)
Wonderful Olympus camera-totally useless Olympus manual; so thank heavens for people like you~! Easily the best and most assimilable presentation I've seen (and I've watched a fair few). I found you when in despair I was simply trying to find how to set to infinity for star shots-now posting this comment while still only halfway through your video, in fact ...
@ John HUNTER - Hello Again John, I am sorry for the late reply since i was on holidays. Thank you very much for your kind words and i truly appreciate it. It's really encouraging to read comments like yours and come to know my effort is getting success and people find these videos helpful. Olympus Functions and Customisation are really amazing. But the Menu system is so difficult to find what we need at times. All the best with your star shots and your support :)
I am an old rat to photography (Nikon), but new to Olympus. Just got a PAN F, and your video was very easy to follow and very helpful to get a good basic jpeg setting to get started. Thank you very much.
@ Carl Rosenvold - Hello Carl, Thank you so much for your kind words. It was exactly my intention to make this video simple and clear.I am so glad that you find the video helpful. I started photography with a film camera Kodak KB10 [My dad's gift] then a Canon Powershot S110, Canon 600D and a & a 760D now. I am also new to Olympus. I suggest you to go with prime lenses like 25 & 45 f/1.8 to get good result along with the jpeg settings. All the best Carl..
@ Ken Lau - Hi Ken, Thanks a lot for your kind and encouraging words. It feels so good to read comments like yours. I truly appreciate it. @ Fairway Cottage - Hello There, I am sorry for the late reply since i was on holidays. Thank you very much for your kind words and it's really encouraging to a beginner like me. I have never done a tutorial before. Anyways thanks again for your support and i truly appreciate it. Enjoy photography with your OMD!!
I am using Olympus Pen E-PL7. I know I dont have an eye for photography but I've been wondering what was wrong with my camera that the colour tends to bit a little bit off and too "warm" compared to how others took it. This tutorial had been super helpful. There's a huge difference to the pictures that I took now. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!! BLESS YOU!!
@ Aainaa Nadira - Hi Aainaa, Thanks a lot for your kind words which made me so happy. There is a saying. " If you can't make it with your Skill, Make it with your Will ". I am sure you will be a good photographer with taking a lot of photos, learning about it and keeping a passion for it. All the Best & Bless You !!
Thank you, Jithesh!! I have had my Pen F since last summer and was discouraged to use it because the settings were far way off. Honestly, I started regretting purchasing it. Still, determined not giving up on it, I took it out again tonight and wwwhhhalla!! I found your channel. I set it accordingly to your recommendations and wow!! you helped me uncover the beauty of this camera to endless possibilities. Thank you again for sharing.
@ Bluebie Grace - Thanks a lot for your kind words. Much appreciated. I was in your position when i started with olympus. To be honest, Robin Wong's Blog posts helped me a lot. Now that he has a youtube channel by his name, please check it out and i am sure you will get lots of ideas to get the best out of Olympus. Cheers !!
@ Hasan Shirzadi - Hi Hasan, Thanks a lot my friend for your kind words. I really appreciate it. I don't think i am simply the best tutor. But i tried my best to make this tutorial simple :) It's really encouraging to read comments like yours and i would like to have this support for my future videos too. Cheers!!

It's really encouraging to read comments like yours and come to know my effort is getting success and people find these videos helpful. I will try best to make more videos which will be eligible to be saved in your archives. All the Best Brad !!
An extremely easy to follow and in depth review of many settings for the Olympus E-M10 Mk11 camera. I have followed all the options and now have a camera that I believe will help to give me better photos. Even to the option of downloading the Olympus Viewer for the Mac - something that I had not previously considered as I tend to rely upon Photos or Affinity Photo. Great piece of video, thanks
@ Michael Kitchen - Hello Michael, Thank you very much for your kind words and i truly appreciate it. It was exactly my intention to make this video easy to follow and clear. It's really encouraging to read comments like yours and come to know my effort is getting success and people find these videos helpful. EM10 Mark2 is a nice little camera when paired with good lenses like Olympus 45 or 25 etc. Olympus Viewer is really slow but do help to preserve the olympus colour for sure. But if you are happy with straight out of camera photos, May be " Snapseed " from Appstore or Googleplay will be more than enough for cropping or basic adjustments i guess. Anyways All the Best Michael for your photography journey..
Hi Jithesh, Still getting to grips with the various setting options. I was particularly interested with your comment that to get the best out of the Olympus colours you would use the 4:3 picture size setting. Given that the video mode and most other camcorders would use 16:9 by default, I would be pleased to hear whether a change to wide format would in your opinion be detrimental. The same question really applies to whether to use sRGB or Adobe RGB as the colour space. Regards, Michael K
@ Michael Kitchen - Hello Michael, Thanks for watching my video and commenting. Like i mentioned Olympus cameras are having 4:3 native aspect ratios since they have a micro four thirds sensor. My idea is to get the best out of this sensor for people who take photos for fun. That's why suggested super fine jpeg instead of raw. But it's okay to use different aspect ratios if you don't mind full resolution. Even i use a 3:2 aspect ratio on Olympus if i know that i will print them with 6x4 format. I haven't really thought of sRGB/Adobe RGB to be honest. Please correct me if i am wrong, But as far as i know it's the same difference between Raw & Jpeg with regards to easy editing, sharing and printing with sRGB files. All the Best Michael..
@ Peter Ronchetti - Hi Peter, Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot to read comments like yours and find my effort is getting success. I just made this video in a way that most people can easily understand when they watch it with their olympus camera to change settings on the go. All the Best Peter.
@ Yukinelover - Hello There, Thanks a lot for your kind words. It was exactly my intention to make this video helpful. E-PL7 is a good camera and Viewer 3 is like " good things come to those who wait ". If you have patience to edit, It's a very capable editing software to give you good result. All the best for your photography by the way !!
@ littlemess - Hello There, Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot to read comments like yours and find my effort is getting success. All the Best & Enjoy photography more with your Pen F, Nice Camera..
Jithesh, Thank you for this tutorial! I have been using Oly. OM D E5 M2 for a year. This has been extremely helpful!! Please clarify the in camera editing. I must have missed something? When I click on the photo there is a limited menu for editing. Unlike your extensive menu. What am I doing wrong! I hope we can look forward to more of your videos! I do appreciate the time you have invested! This video is a keeper!

This the most concise, clear and easy-to-follow tutorial for the Olympus micro 4/3 cameras I have come across on RUclips. Excellent! I have subscribed and look forward to checking out your other videos and future ones. You have given me confidence to begin using my new em10 2. When I first received the camera a few days ago, I was rather overwhelmed by the learning curve to master the deep menu system. I'm beginning to move through the menu now with much more ease. Thanks for taking the time to do this for us.
@ Tracy Hansen - Hello Tracy, Thanks for your kind words. Your comment made my day infact. Thanks for subscribing to my channel. I also suggest you to visit blogs of Robin Wong for a little more inspiration. All the best !!

Great work Jithesh! Thanks for being so generous and sharing your experience and knowledge - that's really cool of you to do that. Apart from easy, straightforward OMD instructions, also great Olympus Viewer tips! Keep up the great work.
@ videosbyandy01 - Hi Andy, Thank you so much Mate for your kind words. It's only when you use something you come to know the good sides and bad sides. Then there are this trial and error to find what works for you and what doesn't. I had a doubt whether people will watch a 20 minutes mobile phone recorded video. But i am so happy to know that the content is helpful for people through the likes, comments & subscription. Your support is much appreciated. Merry X-mas & Happy New Year. Keep Clicking :)

Thanks a lot. I was getting desperate to be able one day (before jumping through my window...5th floor) to use that O M(y) D(ear) 5 Mark II. Very very usefull video. You saved my life :-)
@ Thery Michel - Hi Thery, Sorry about the delayed reply since i was on holidays. I appreciate your comment and em5 mark 2 was my favourite. But since i was on a budget i went with em10 mark 2 instead. Enjoy Photography & Thanks for making me a Life Saver :)

Hi Jithesh Your tutorial is the best out there . I really enjoyed the video. I have the EM5 mark2. I would love to see more similar videos from you. For example how to use the live composite, High Resolution Shot & Time lapse Video etc. Many Thanks
@ AverageTraveller - Hi There, Thanks a lot for your kind words. I am so glad you found this video enjoyable. EM5 mark 2 is an awesome camera. I boght my em10 mark 2 just a month ago. still not touched live composite and time lapse etc. All i wanted was to get the best jpeg image quality. I am happy with the image quality by using all the settings mentioned in the video and prime lenses like oly 25 & 45. There are minor issues though like focusing on moving subjects [slow/fast] ,Olympus file numbering system and printing six by four format. If you prefer small size and light weight and good enough image quality+advanced technology - micro four thirds are the best :) Keep Clicking..

Thanks for these tips ... I've had an OM-D and a PEN for some months and didn't know about some of these useful tips - although I guess I have tended to shoot in RAW+JPEG by default. I have the Olympus Viewer 3 installed by have not really used it. Have tended to use Photos App on Mac and also have an inexpensive DxO Optics plugin for that same tool. But I will give OV3 a shot sometime soon. The settings you have shown us are mostly ones I was not aware of and so very helpful. Although these days the Super Control Panel is activated by default and also touch sensitive screen. Still, it is good to know where in the vast menu system these items live. On a separate note, I also really enjoyed your black and white street photography video. Although I now live in Scotland and so don't have quite the wealth and variety of street activity as back home, watching your video I really enjoyed your photos and they did inspire me. I have a long standing mental health issue and I purchased my camera gear as a way of getting me out and about but I have been a bit "stuck" with struggles with depression just now. I'm hopeful that I will get out more often now after being inspired by your video. I was also pleased to see that you had used an entry level Canon DSLR and very inexpensive lens. I have a 450D - not quite a 600D - and also the same 50mm f/1.8 lens which I just love. I also have a couple of zooms which have IS and are large and heavy - that's why I shifted to micro 4/3 - these are just ridiculously small and I carry 4 lenses in my raincoat pocket along with one small camera (GX80). I still would not sell my Canon gear. It has its own "look". I even used to use the 50mm on my first micro 4/3 with an adapter ... But now I have got an m4/3 lens of roughly the same spec and even smaller so that has done me fine now. Once again, thanks for so much helpful information and also helpful inspiration! Sincerely, Rama Lakshmanan
@ Rama Lakshmanan - Hello Sir, I am sorry for the late reply since i was on holidays. Thank you very much for your kind words and i truly appreciate it. It's really encouraging to read comments like yours and come to know my effort is getting success and people find these videos helpful. You will definitely be happy with Viewer 3 Result i guess and i am also using Snapseed photo editing app which is amazing aswell. With regards to street photography, you are absolutely right about India. India through a Street Photographer's viewfinder is like a Sea or Stars to a Child. So much variety, Different Cultures, Festivals, etc etc. I still have my Canon gear [ with 50mm as the only lens] eventhough i have my OMD. Olympus primes like 45mm are amazing. Photography is ofcourse a way of happiness. I feel so happy to see the smiles of people through the view finder and when i show them their good photos i usually find another genuine smile from them. I wish you all the best and let happiness be in everything you do in Life. Cheers for your comment & support once again !!
No need to apologise - after all you are the one who shared the useful information! Also, please no "sir"! Or "Uncle" (though I'm 55 now - how did it happen? :-) ) - just "Rama" is fine. I love your "Sea of Stars" metaphor. I did buy a 45mm f/1.8 but having read a particular review that slightly unsettled me and pushed me in the direction of the Panasonic 42.5 f/1.7 - it is a bit sharper across the frame, has a shorter close focusing distance, and also has IS which functions in Dual IS mode with my GX80. But I do know that the 45mm Olympus has many other benefits over the Panasonic. Including price! (Although Olympus are terrible and don't give hoods or pouches ... The official hood for the 17mm f/1.8 costs £50+ here!) Do you put up your images on any photography site like Flickr? Please do let me know as I'd love to see more of your work. What do you do for a living? Is photography your career or your hobby? Or both!? God bless. Rama
@ Rama Lakshmanan - Hello Rama, Your choice is right with panasonic 42.5 beause it's wider for general shots too. I don't have any photography sites. Infact I am just a casual photographer who likes to take family and friends photos. I also like to share whatever i learned through my youtube channel. Sometimes i take general photos for my youtube videos. That's about it. I work in medical administration field. I love photography as a medium to keep my personal memories. All the best for whatever you do and God bless you brother !!
Cheers, Jithesh, yes, I think the 42.5mm is good for me - the biggest reason is the close-focussing ability and shallow depth of field because I LOVE to take photos of plants and flowers "portraits" in which sometimes they seem to have human qualities in how they look (usually I focus on 1-3 items within a bush, for example). While I had the 45mm with me from Amazon I was thinking about all the pros and cons and I came across this amazing photo on Flickr - I think it is one of the most beautiful images I've seen. www.flickr.com/photos/danielmichel2757/29416316360/in/faves-93314160@N04/ That helped me make the decision to send the Olympus lens back and buy the Panasonic. Also the overall Dual IS with in body stabilisation is supposed to be 6 stops and that is also very helpful for "Phlower Photos". BUT! There are real tradeoffs that are to be made ... The Panasonic primes (including my 25mm) suffer from chromatic aberration quite visibly. It tends to be corrected for in Panasonic bodies but not my Olympuses. So the Olympus 45mm f/1.8 shines in this regard. Also, with regards to the 42.5mm, the starbusts when stopped down are not all that pleasant and are a bit irregular - whereas those from the Olympus 45mm are very clean and beautiful. Plus the cost of the Panasonic is a good deal more. Too bad I can't afford both! Or may be it's good because I have a psychological tendency to fear leaving kit behind at home and pack too much anyway! I do understand your attitude towards photos of family and friends. Myself I used Flickr for quite a bit because it is a nice community of photographers and one gets helpful feedback, but then I switched about a year ago to Facebook and I share very different kinds of photos, sometimes silly ones from the photographic point of view, but suitable for family and friends. However, I still submit some pics to Flickr - I can recommend it if you want to widen your means of sharing your images. But no pressure at all - that's the worst. I was quite sceptical when my photography tutor (informal) in London suggested Flickr.com to me, but I soon got to enjoy it quite a bit. One can upload videos but it's primarily for stills and all of the images in your street photography video were well suited and of high calibre. However, it is each to his own, so I only mention this and look forward to more videos from you as is appropriate on RUclips - only if you set up a Flickr account, please do let me know so I can follow you there too. Take care and Blessings.

Hi Jithesh, many thanks for your help in setting up my omd em10 mark ii,it has been so helpful. One small query,I was setting up the single autofocus mode to obtain the smallest square by selecting the s setting, but when I go back to the grid with the squares,I only have 25 squares instead of the 81 that show in your example and I cannot seem to change that by re checking everything. Any idea what is going on?Many thanks ,Barrie
@ Barrie Ainge - Hi Barrie, Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot to read comments like yours and find my effort is getting success. About the smallest focusing square, May be you can select it from both settings and super control panel. While selecting focus points on live view, there is usually a small bar you can drag up & down to make focusing square smaller & bigger. Please check 6.50 on this video. Hope this help. All the Best Barrie :)

@ Charlene - Hello Charlene, Thanks a lot. Your comment made me so happy. It's a great feeling when you come to know your effort is making result. It was exactly my intention to make this video straight forward and simple. There are very good blogs about olympus tutorials but very few youtube videos. That's why i thought of making one. Anyways glad you found this video and All the best for your photography and enjoy life :)
@ Marlon Kaszick - Hello Marlon, Thanks a lot for you comment. I really appreciate it.I made this video because there are a lot of useful information in internet about olympus cameras and settings but in different sites. I have written down everything and tried to make sure which one works for me. This tutorial is only about how i use my omd. I am so glad people find it easy and useful for them. Your encouraging comment is indeed an appreciation for my effort and i am so glad to read it. Cheers !!
Hi Jithesh, yes there is info on the internet here and there, but often difficult to find and/or understand, but yours having the camera right on the screen showing exactly how you do your settings was so easy to follow. I already had a few of my settings changed to pretty much your settings, copied Robin Wongs cheat sheet, but the way you did it was so good...again well done !! Cheers
@ Marlon Kaszick - Hello Marlon, Thanks again. Robin Wong's photographs are exactly the reason i bought olympus omd. He is an amazing talent. Robin wong's & Gary Ayton's blogs were my reference behind this video. All i did was i tried settings and found what works for me and added a little bit of tips i found while shooting and editing. I recently found another awesome photographer Raviraj Kande who use olympus gear to make great portraits. I am planning to do some street photography in south india with my em10 mark 2 and oly 25mm f/1.8 soon. Anyways All the Best with your photography Marlon. Cheers!!
@ Louise B - Hello Louise, Thanks for your kind words. The menus in this video is about shooting. Since i don't edit in camera, I have not included anything about it in this video. I suggest you to edit with Olympus Viewer or Snapseed Photo editing App. Thanks & All the Best Louise.
@ marfan ricketts - Hello marfan, Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot to read comments like yours and find my effort is getting success. All the Best marfan..

@ DDRandDSLover - Hi There, Thanks a lot for your comment. Much appreciated. EM-5 is an awesome camera. I still don't know about many features in my camera either. But i am happy as long as i get good photographs :) All the Best.
@ jimmy ginger - Hi Jimmy, Thanks a lot for your encouraging words. English is a foreign language to me. I still think I am faking it when it comes to accent. But if it's understandable; that's all I want. Cheers !!
@ Dave keeley - Hi Dave, I am sorry for the late reply since i was on holidays. But Exposure to the Right video is not made by me. It's by Peter Forsgard. It's a great video. Peter would be happy if you comment the same on his video. Thanks Dave.
@ Frank Walsh - Hello Frank, Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot to read comments like yours and find my effort is getting success. I will surely make more videos. All the Best Frank..
Olympus tends to lose users in its menus . This tutorial is very useful. Well done, thank you.
Finally, someone explains some of the menus and settings. Very helpful.
I am using EM5 last two years and now got it corrected. Got the connectivity now. Olympus should give focus on this area. Thanks very much Jithesh
@ Anil Venad
- Hi Anil, Sorry about the late reply.
@
Pedro Vieira de Castro - Hi Pedro, Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for your kind words. Glad you enjoy Photography. Cheers !!!
Just bought a penf after using Nikon SLRS for many years! I love the camera but settings a little complicated. After watching many videos I was still not able to get my head round it! This video has really helped me .... so easy to understand. Feel so relieved I will now be able to use the camera effectively. Thank you.
@ Jan Hawksworth
- Hello Jan, Thank you so much for your kind words.
Really helpfull and a clear explanation! Well done Jithesh.
Awesome video! Thank you very much for the clarity and ease of learning!
Thank you. My own apologies, for taking so long getting back to you. :-)
Thanks! I took my Olympus E-PL7 through your instructions, and it helped a lot. Next will be my Olympus E M10
Really excellent and comprehensive explanations, thank you!

@ Bluebie Grace
- Thanks a lot for your kind words. Much appreciated. I was in your position when i started with olympus. To be honest, Robin Wong's Blog posts helped me a lot. Now that he has a youtube channel by his name, please check it out and i am sure you will get lots of ideas to get the best out of Olympus. Cheers !!

But i tried my best to make this tutorial simple :) It's really encouraging to read comments like yours and i would like to have this support for my future videos too. Cheers!!

Hi Jithesh,
Still getting to grips with the various setting options.
Regards,
Michael K
Very helpful Jithesh! I really appreciate your calm steady teaching style in this video!
@ Peter Ronchetti
- Hi Peter, Thank you so much for your kind words.

Jithesh, Thank you for this tutorial! I have been using Oly. OM D E5 M2 for a year. This has been extremely helpful!! Please clarify the in camera editing. I must have missed something?

Hi Jithesh
Your tutorial is the best out there .
Great video...very useful information.Thank you!

THE BEST TUTORIAL. Well done Jithesh :))
@ reeftango - Hello There, Thanks a lot for your encouraging comment. I do appreciate it and All the Best :))
Sincerely,
Rama Lakshmanan
Forgot to mention: I'm half Malayali (on Mum's side) :-)

Very useful video! Thank you!

Brilliant, so much info and so well done !! :)
Cheers!!
Most helpfull Jithesh I hope the suits at Olympus take note well done
