    I was pushed your channel so I am catching up with posts. You did the right thing. When you have rec players (me) or a guy that is calling and wants to mix it to have a good time it’s always good to allow that type of player some leniency. You want these players in the game a coming back. Or you end up battling pros or players with super tight opens/calls. Good karma for you. From all the rec players thank you

      @@ericnerenberg7064 Thanks and glad you found the channel! I think giving recreational players leniency is the right move. I can’t stand when I see regs being too strict on recreational players and then the rec leaves. Not good etiquette in my opinion.

    On the final hand, it is the dealers duty, as soon as a player throws their cards in face down, to grab them immediately and bury them into the muck. Also, the dealer cannot turn a players cards face up. The player must do this.

    New subscriber here, and fellow Vlogger. I didn’t know the SouthPount allows filming. Good hands and hand review but it doesn’t seem like the board was running in your favor that night. I think check call with trip queens was the right decision on the river the one hand. Board was very wet

      I think they look the other way at South Point. They don’t encourage it but they don’t stop it either. The floor manager has talked with me while I was filming and didn’t say anything about it. Appreciate the sub and support. I’ll subscribe to your Vlog as well!!

    On the last hand, I've found that rules vary by casino as to what constitutes a mucked hand. Some places say his cards need to hit the muck before his hand is dead, other commenters below say it's dead once it hits the table face down. At the end of the day, it only cost you $42 (half the pot) to be a nice guy, and knowing that about yourself is probably worth a lot more than the money. $42 either way is not going to change your life.
    On other hands, I agree that limping in was a mistake, but not as big as you are making out. Since you are still making post-flop mistakes, having a smaller pot on the flop means that mistakes post-flop don't cost you as much. On the trips hands when you said you should have raised instead of called, I don't think you lost out either time. Raising on the queen trips hand would have earned a fold from the ace-high opponent and raising on the trip jacks hand would have only got a call from someone with a club flush or better kicker, everyone else folds. Just because you're making "mistakes" does not mean that they are costing you every time. When your opponents are making just as many, sometimes theirs cancel out yours.
    Kudos for putting out a vlog. Reviewing and thinking about hands after the session will do your game good. I hope to run into you at the tables sometime, maybe that can even be arranged.

      Thanks, appreciate you watching and sharing your feedback. One of the reasons I started the Vlog is to be able to review my play and hopefully improve. Took my about a year to work up the nerve to actually start posting.
      Hope to see you at the tables sometime. If you’re in the Vegas area I’m mostly at South Point or Resorts World. Stop by and say hi if you see me grinding.

    I'd bet larger with KQ on the QT6-2 turn. You've already missed out on value. In the QTo hand, I think check-raise is in order on the river. There are very few full house combos remaining. I am not sure whether a bet or check-raise is better. The board is scary, so villain may not bluff or bet worse often enough to justify a check.

    • @panicpoker
      @panicpoker  Год назад

      Pot size bet with KQ? Seems like it could be good. Check-raise the river is such a strong line. I think a bet might be better.

    Last hand - as long as his cards have not been mixed with the deck it seems it is usually considered retrievable. Also, when the fourth heart hits the river you state "fairly safe river card here". Either you did not see the hearts on playback, or you were playing some game where flushes do not play! On the QT hand near the end, I think by checking you got more value by letting other player bluff with his Ace. Only hand beating you is AT which is unlikely. If you bet your straight, he is not calling, Agree you should be raising as the worst you would likely be doing is chopping. Anyway, keep it up and good luck at the tables!

    • @panicpoker
      @panicpoker  Год назад

      Appreciate the feedback. I didn’t notice the flush on playback. I think his hand was retrievable. Pretty sure the best thing to do there is just turn the cards over and chop. He was saying he had a king so seems like the fair play. I definitely missed a raise on the QT hand. Appreciate the support!!

      Cards are generally retrievable untill they have been mixed in with the muck. I would not retrieve another person's cards myself, but I also would defend that person's right to retrieve them and would support them if the floor was called even if it did not benefit me. In this case, since the cards were right in front of you, I'd probably push them back to the opponent.

    On the last hand when player mucked it appeared his cards never hit the actual muck so technically they are still love. The dealer himself is never allowed to turn over a players hand or to tell a player to turn over his hand. There is nothing wrong with you yourself turning over his hand here. It’s somewhat actually a respectful gesture by you.

    • @panicpoker
      @panicpoker  Год назад

      Yeah, I think it’s the right thing to do. Just turn his cards over and if it’s a split pot chop it up. He was an action player so better to keep him happy and in the game.
