Funny hand where somebody limp calls and then donk leads with KK. I have to imagine they are over the age of 70. Omg I commented this before seeing you flat with queens twice LOL. Are you over 70 as well?
😂 no, I am not over the age of 70. I’m just a terrible poker player and miss obvious 3bet spots. The player who limp/called kings and then donk bet was definitely over 70 and had just ordered his first cop of coffee.
Before acting in a particular spot, think about the action that got you there. Then x/b/c/r based on your read of the situation. For example, with A9o, you were the PFR, you bet slightly over half pot on a middle card heavy board with a flush draw. Villain calls and then turn is checked through. If villain had Kx, 2 pr, or a club draw, he should have done something by this point. This means that villain is likely to have a pair lower than Kx. What should we do against a bet from such a range when we hit trips on the river? Villain almost certainly has a worse hand than you do. I'd raise something like 60, small enough that it can be called by this marginal range. Can you include positions and effective stacks?
Great analysis and feedback. This is an older episode when I was still learning how to do video editing. If you watch the more recent episodes I include effective stack, positions, pot size etc…. It’s all a work in progress, improving at poker while improving at content creation. Appreciate you tuning in and the feedback in the comments!!
Very entertaining video! You used a lot of lingo us non poker players don't use. Maybe try explaining the lingo further on the future videos. Otherwise, liking the content!
Once again good content, It does seem like you are on the right track but these games you’re playing seem very slow and pots are very small. Also there are a few things I’d like to see differently with your graphics and editing. Please let me know if you’d like to chat and hear some feedback. -Mike M
Hey Mike, appreciate the feedback. I would welcome the opportunity to chat to get some input on editing and graphics. I’m learning those skills as I go which is a challenge- Jason
you playerd onbe hand perfectly.....the 77 that got cracked!!! and that was not really a very bad beat... he had 11 outs. you need to CONGRATULATE yourself innerly when you play a hand optimally tregardl;ess of the outcome.
I hate losing to the point where even when I play well I get upset. You’re absolutely right though and I should pat myself on the back when I play correctly whether or not I win or lose the hand.
That’s Pugh beats today. Better luck next week
Really enjoyed watching this episode. Nice mix of bad hands/hands you folded, as well as playable hands. The bluffs were great too.
Thanks!! Glad you enjoyed it!!
Solid video sir, I am excited to follow your poker journey.
Thank you, appreciate the feedback and the support!!

Glad you enjoyed it!! I’ve got some feedback from some other folks about the poker lingo. I will work on explaining them on future videos.

Thanks for the comment. Not sure what it means but appreciate the support.
@Panic Poker it's an old online poker forum joke that people started replying "first" to any thread. I guess in some circles it's still a thing.
@@Conan776 thanks for the explanation. I was confused 🫤
