For Dashcams, the upgraded Viofo A229 pro 2 and 3 channel are on sale, $279 and $299 respectively.
A229 pro offers starvis 2 imx678 4k front camera and starvis 2 imx675 2k rear, has support for HDR for all 3 channels at the same time.
Nice, I haven't had time to test out the A229 pro, I have it on my workbench still in the package. I prefer that form factor with the screen though.

If I can’t spend the additional ~800$ on the JMGO N1 Ultra, can you also recommend the N1 Pro?
I haven't tested the N1 Pro, just the Ultra and the N1 Air (which is an unofficial name, I think it's just the N1). Both are very good, so I assume the Pro is also good, but I can't personally attest to it.
The 70mai dash cam is also on sale and you had it listed as the budget pick for dash cams so i believe it deserves a shoutout.
Can you also start reviewing speakers? I think it would be a great addition to your channel

Ultra Short Throw projectors tend to have better black levels for the money. Long throw projectors are less prone to distortion and focus issues.

I'm a big fan of your RUclips channel and have been watching several of your videos on LED strips. I was wondering if you might be able to help me with a couple of questions. I'm trying to light two tray ceilings in my home. The ceilings have an outlet in the corner connected to a light switch, so the hard part is done already. However, I I'm trying to decide what LED strip to buy, along with which controller and power supply. Each ceiling is square/rectangle and about 53 linear ft in total.
I've been looking at all the strip options but was considering the RGBW FCOB 24v lights from BTF Lighting. I've also been looking at LIFX, Govee and Phillips Hue. Any recommendations here? Price is a consideration but not the most important factor. Which option would you go with and why?

Is there a way to send Atmos to a Sonos system with the N1 Ultra? From what I’m seeing online, it seems like the Dengbei Mars Pro 4K might be the only choice to reliably passthrough Atmos.

I'm not quite done testing the JMGO N1 Portable, but my initial impressions are very positive.
Would you say it’s better or on par with the halo+?
It is brighter, but it has the same issue as the Anker Mars 3 where black screens have a strange red "static" pattern. I am just starting my review which will be out December 8th, so I haven't done extensive testing, just unboxed and setup.

Thanks so much! I've watched every projector video on your channel. It PAINS me that I can't find the Hisense C1 under €2K in Europe (Spain). I value black Lum. and color accuracy, non-portable and mostly light controlled room, no gaming. Up to N1 Ultra (€1650) or settle for poor blacks of X5 (€1450) or Mars Pro (€1225)? Any standard throw works, doesn't have to be portable. Thanks!
Vidda C1S is the same thing minus dolby vision but adds 3D so in my case even better

Quick Question: I'm looking for a cheap portable projector for ease of setup and the ability to use it anywhere. I saw a good review for the ViewSonic M1 Mini+, but since it's just $150, I'm a bit nervous. I would primarily be using it to watch movies indoors. Do you have any experience with this modeel, or could you take a look at its specs, and let me know your impressions? Thanks.
M1 Mini+ is not a good projector, it's 480p and only about 40 ANSI lumens. It's not worth buying.
@@TheHookUp Thank you. I often want to use a projector in a smaller room, and perhaps project on a wall. So some sort of mini feels like the way to go. Are there any other mini options at a similar price point that you would recommend for my situation?

I don't see links to the LEDs
Could you help me I would like to buy a projector and I'm not sure which one. I mostly watch Netflix series or sports events like soccer or ufc. My room is 4 metres wide and has a very large window. I would therefore like a bright projector with the best possible picture quality thats the most important for me.
According to your projector review, it would be the Formovie X5, but I'm not sure because of the Chinese system and I've read that you can't watch Netflix in 4K? Will there perhaps be a western version of the X5 in the future with a Android or Google System?
I really like the picture on the C1 and dolby vision, but I don't know if 1600 lumens is enough to watch sports during the day.
The Jmgo is at sales at the moment for 1400.- but I dont know if the laser speckles are a big problem
Which projector would you recommend? Still the X5 or the C1/Jmgo? or the Xgimi or Dangbei as a better all-rounder? Thank you for your great work, I really love your videos!

I am leaning towards the Nomvdic P1000 because of the excellent image quality and short throw nature. But I also love the image quality of the Hisense C1.
I'm using it to project onto women as an art project. You can see examples on my social media

I will be shooting in a dark room. The I made the distance work with a projector with a throw ratio: 1.3:1, So I can make it work with the C1 which has a ratio of 1.2:1, but it was a giant pain and required me to raise the projector up pretty high to get an image that covered the girl laying down. Soooo I can work with it if need but I'd like to have more flexibility of the P10000 but I don't want to sacrifice too much image quality.
My question to you is if the Hisense C1 is 100% image quality in terms of dynamic range, contrast, can clarity how would the P1000 rank.
Keep in mind I can adjust saturation and contrast and color temp in post. I just want to retain as much detail in the shadows but want them to be pretty black and not loose details in the highlights. What percentage would you give the P1000 in Image quality based on the listed perimeters ?
The P1000 is on sale right now for $1,222
I would think a longer throw projector would be better for your use case anyways. The longer the throw the less distortion you will get on an uneven surface (like a human body). If C1 is 100% image quality the P1000 is probably 85%.
@TheHookUp Thank you so much for getting back to me. 85% ouch. Looks like I'm going to have to buy both and see if I can get by with 85%. The reason I wanted the shorter throw is because the women are situated in a pool of water in the bathroom and I have to shoot them from outside of a door and there is a wall 3ft away limiting how far I can go back, and the more the projector goes back from the entrance of the door the more the image gets clipped on the outside of the door. Which forces me to only play with height to get the right size image. Which wouldn't be a problem if I didn't want the catch light in there eyes. It forces me to have them do only poses that force them to look high up into the projector. I'm going to wait till actual Black Friday to see if the prices change on both, and pull the trigger and return the one that doesn't make the cut. Once again. Thank you so much for your insight, and hard work. P.S. I'm for sure getting the Dreametech L10s! Thanks again.

December 8th video will be about portable type projectors (Samsung Freestyle 2, Nebula Mars 3, XGIMI Mogo 2 Pro, etc).
Hisense C1 Global is the same hardware as Vidda C1S, but with a different OS meant for the global market. That OS supports Dolby Vision, but not 3D, while the Vidda C1S supports 3D but not Dolby Vision.
Vidda C1 is dimmer than the Vidda C1S and Vidda C1 Pro is the brightest.
Formovie X5 - specifications say it can project 1000" screen ! That means a real theater size ! WOW ! .... Is it really watchable ? What do u think ?
No, that is not realistic. At around 250" you would reach the limit of the X5's brightness, even in a completely light controlled room.

Yeah. Xgimi Aura is really the only crazy UST deal. Nexigo Aurora Pro has a bundle with a screen that is decent, but Aura is a great price at $1600.
