Joe Kane would of course go on next year to win the Sugar bowl following a 11-1 season facing a freshman Shane Falco from Ohio State winning the national championship and heisman trophy. He would then go on to be drafted to the Tampa Bay buccaneers In the first round.
Alvin Mack became a graduate assistant eventually moving to linebackers coach. After a successful stint at positions coach he is promoted to defensive coordinator and heir apparent to legendary head coach Sam Winters Eventually getting the job with a five-year $15 million contract upon coach Winters retirement. He bought his mom that house.
One of his first orders of business was hiring his old running buddy Steve Lattimer as the strength and conditioning coach and promoting quarterbacks coach Bobby Collins to offensive coordinator. Bobby Of course begins employing a new style offense he learned playing under the great Hal Mumme after transferring to Valdosta state shortly after being kicked off ESU for academic violations.
With a new high scoring offense and prolific defense Coach Mack uses his connections with former teammates and dual Heisman Trophy winners Darnell Jefferson and probable first ballot Hall it Famer Joe Kane to get a top recruiting class and return ESU to a national powerhouse.
