- This crochet top is easy to make. Take bust measurements divide that number by 2. what you get subtract 2 inches. Then the reminder, subtract 4 inches. the answer you get, divide it by 2.
For example, my bust measurements are 30 inches, divide by 2 I get 15 inches. 15 inches subtract 2 inches equals 13 inches ; (30/2=15 15-2 =13 inches)
once you have that, subtract 4 inches and divide the answer y 2. (13-4= 9 9/2 = 4.5 inches.
the maths seems complicated but it's not 😊.
Materials
1 and a quarter skeins of mercerised cotton yarn
2.00 mm hook
Tape measure

I tried this so many times but it feel like my decrease is super strong in comparison to the decrease in the video. Although i didn‘t miss a single stitch and did it exactly like instructed in the video.
I also have a bigger size, may this be the problem? I am super confused if i do it right or wrong…

I love this Top but I got discouraged when you start off with all these numbers. then the volume is so low I can't heard what your saying
I’m sorry that method of teaching doesn’t fit with you. We are all different and I love to teach using measurements because that’s how everyone can be able to make their own perfect fit, using different yarn sizes. I’m never going to teach using number of stitches because I don’t count stitches myself, it’s not my thing. It’s easy maths, subtraction and division, if you love the top and wish to make it I’m sure you can do a little mathsAs for the volume, it’s very high on my end.
Hello how many chains do I do for different sizes
Tutorial is measurements based, it’s not based on the number of chains. Take the measurements recommended for your size
Hi! I am making this top but the mesh part on the bottom became too tight and I can’t fit it over my chest, I’m not sure why. What should I do?
Don't make your stitches too tight depending on how stretchy your yarn is.
I ended up making two chains instead of one and looser stitches. It’s working good! Thank you!❤
