Thank you so much, I appreciate that :) For me, it took about 4 hours give or take. I think it depends on how fast you stitch though because I've seen other ladies here on youtube who stitch super fast. Also depends on the size. I am a size small, but larger sizes will take longer. Hope that helps you!
This is a great top. I’m not as shapely as you, but I can certainly wear it under a jacket or open blouse. Your explanations were very clear and well paced. Thanks for the time stamps too.
Hey everyone! Thought I would leave a review of the pattern in case you were having some questions! 1. I used weight 3 yarn, specifically Lion Brand CoBoo yarn in Beige. Size small used less than 2 skeins. (50% bamboo 50% cotton and incredibly soft) 2. For the band I had a really hard time doing the front post stich around the first and last stitch of each row and opted to do a regular single crochet in the first and last stitch of the row. This is stretching but not as much/stiffer. 3. I used an unstretched measurement of the band to corrilate to my body measurement (which I later regretted). Highly recommend measuring the band slightly stretched. I did 110 rows for the band. 4. For the up and down stitch I was having a hard time getting the last double crochet in the chain 1 at the beginning of the previous row so I opted to start each row with a single crochet after chaining 1 and then continuing 1dc 1sc 1dc until the end of the row, chain 1. 5. I really wish she would have shared how long she made hers or how many rows she did. I think she did 9" or 34 rows but I am not for certain. I only did 30 then followed with the elastic and single crochet. 6. The elastic. I used 1/8" elastic double layered and it was noticeable- of course. 7. Unfortunately, the top is too big on me and just looks odd with it being more of a size medium on an x small body and won't be wearing it which is disappointing as this was probably an 8 hour projects (on and off between work). Overall, thank you for the pattern! I just wish the maker would have answered some of the questions people asked in the comments.
I ❤️ this top and looks really simple easy! Only suggestion.. would u film closer to her hands and project so we can see closer to what u are doing pretty please 🙏🏻 😁😉 I’m gonna give this a go 😝
Thanks for your tutorial video. i followed you and i was able to do it amazing its not easy to do one thing in 1 week your videos can help and teach to make it clearer and easy to follow Thank you from the bottom of my heart i will follow you forever Besides, you are very beautiful and cute.
Hi In the body part of pattern.. ur chain 1 after u turn for each row.. does that chain 1 count as a stitch or not? So do we place our first double crochet in the same stitch as the chain 1 or in the next stitch? Thank you 😊
I have never tried it without the elastic, but if you didn't have access to elastic, you could make a drawstring from yarn and use that as your "band". I am actually thinking of making a different version of this top with a drawstring, I think it would be cute!
Love this tutorial, thank you, When you first start the body and do the alternating single and double crochets, are you going into the Stitch or the space? I thought I saw you doing a single and a double in each space, but I couldn't quite make out exactly, Btw, I made your bikini top, turned out awesome ! Thank you much ♡
Amanda Love Santos sorry to bug you again. the yarn that you used is size Medium 4? I’m gonna use the light weight 3 size and wonder what hooks should I use, could you help me out of the hooks?
In the video, I’ll actually explain how to create a size that fits you. You pretty much just need to measure yourself in a few different areas & use those measurements when crocheting yours
Really nice top and helpful tutorial, I'd love to have a go but I'm fairly new to crochet - how long does a project like this take?

Hi
In the body part of pattern.. ur chain 1 after u turn for each row.. does that chain 1 count as a stitch or not? So do we place our first double crochet in the same stitch as the chain 1 or in the next stitch?
Thank you 😊
What color is this yarn? I love it!
Amazing!! 🙌🏽❤️
Thanks brotha 🙏🏼💛
How much yarn did you use to this top?
Still waiting for the halter top..,,😊
How much yarn do you need for this top? I have 150 g of a yarn and want to know if I’ll have enough before I start. Thanks!
1) do you HAVE to use elastic ? 2) is this good for kind of thicker yarn?
I have never tried it without the elastic, but if you didn't have access to elastic, you could make a drawstring from yarn and use that as your "band". I am actually thinking of making a different version of this top with a drawstring, I think it would be cute!
do you need all the different needles or does one 5.5 mm work??
New subbie here..love your tutorials
Thanks 😄🙏🏼💓
If our elastic is bigger can we cut it smaller and it still work?
Hello, the yarn you used for what size of hook is it? Thank you!
What brand, style, and size of yarn did you use?

Love this tutorial, thank you, When you first start the body and do the alternating single and double crochets, are you going into the Stitch or the space? In the video, I’ll actually explain how to create a size that fits you. You pretty much just need to measure yourself in a few different areas & use those measurements when crocheting yours
