oh my goodness… seeing the beginning of your journey and how far you’ve come is so inspiring!! i cannot believe how far you’ve come in such a short amount of time
Hi! I watch a ton of your videos and have a quick question :) I crochet too and have been trying to figure out how to add elastic to some of my pieces. How do you know how much elastic to use?
Hi there!! The way I use elastic is by stretching the elastic around the body part you want to use it for (so I stretched my elastic around my bust) and I stretch it until it is snug but not too uncomfortable, and I’ll cut my elastic there. I’m pretty much sizing the elastic to myself and finding a tightness that is suitable for me. After cutting I tie it into a knot and then crochet it into my piece!
I think that came out better than 2 bands xx
Yes thank you!!

Where can we find the elastic my friend?
I picked mine up from JoAnn’s, but you can find it at Michaels too! Check ebay and amazon as well 🤘🏽
@@itserinb Thankk you 💜
Thanks for this simple tutorial
Love it ☺️
About how much yarn did you use?
A little less than one skein, I think 300 yards!
@@itserinb thanks you so much!! I'm pretty excited to start this one.
Hi I really love this design ,is the yarn used in the tutorial 100%cotton and what is the durability of the bandeau like?
how many hours it took you about until done?
Hello! Finished my band, now turning to work the body. Are you going into the back loop only for that first row or both loops?
Both loops!
How do i join the top band to the bandeau?
I would use a slip stitch or single crochet to join the top band to the body!
@@itserinb much thanks luv 😊
Hi! Did you have to wet block this top at all once you finished it?
I didn’t, but I’m sure you could!
What is wet block?
How much yarn needed?
I used one full skein of 250 yards!
Im wanting to try this with 2 little 85g cotton lion brand yarn, is this enough yarn??

Amazingly done.
Turned out really nice.
how many grams did you use?
not sure about grams but i used less than 150 yds. !
Hi great work keep it up
Thanks!!
Do you get hot in this kind of yarn?
It’s a little warm but not unbearable!
Hi is the top band and bottom the same design?
Is the single crochet in the same stich as the half double crochet or is in the next stich?
Next
I would love to see a matching skirt pattern to go with this please 🤗
Oooh that’s a good idea! I’ll try to make a pattern :)
@@itserinb yayy thank you ❣ i do have an inspo pic that might help if you would like me to send it to you.
Is the hdc and single crochet on the same stitch?
No I alternated stitches. One stitch is hdc, next stitch is single, very next stitch is hdc and so on!
Hi, so if i made the top band, do i still have to use the elastic ??
Hi!! No, if you have enough yarn to make a top band you don’t have to use elastic, I just subbed it because I ran out 😄
@@itserinb ahh thank u so much !!! 🤍🥰 that was very helpfull
I Made one but it is to warm 😣
