tbh I feel like the Glidecam looks so much more dynamic and natural than the gimbal. I'm working with the DJI RS2 for a while now but am interested in the Glidecam since it might be better for my kind of working style where I want to be fast in my movements/ reactions and still get a balanced picture without looking artificial.
My personal experience… I was sold on the exact same features of the steadicam… ended up regretting the purchase a bit. Gimbals have really advanced and I think that’s my next advancement
Well, depends on what do you want to record. Steadicam its better for action such as dancing video, sport etc. On the other hand, gimbal has nice and smooth movements so its better for that like estate, weddings, walking etc. my opinion 🙂

Good stabiliser it’s equipment if I want to get long tracking shots ( walk and talk) that look realistic and smooth for a camera like the FX3 or 30? Please
@@DelaneyMedia okay but gimbal seems to robotic & les organic . Is there a method to make it more natural? Such as using a gimbal turnt off but with a steadimate RS to add stabilisation ?
What do you think? Would you get a DJI RS3? Or would you stick with the Glidecam?

Yes the glidecam absolutely has a more "human" element to the footage. It's not so perfectly smooth, which is sometimes exactly what you want

I’ve been using a glidecam for a long time. The main lens I use is sigma 18-35. Changing the focal length is internal so I never need to rebalance.
The Glidecam footage look more organic, yes it's less stable but it look more natural
what is the difference between the hd 2000 and the hd 4000?
Awesome rundown man! Great work! Thank you for making this
No problem, glad I could help!

Someone with the funds needs to put the dji lidar focus with a glidecam
That would be interesting to see
Rest in peace Glidecam

These can both do that but the gimbal is going to be easier especially for longer shots

If you prefer organic movement go with the glide cam, just know it’s trickier to operate
Im thinking about DJI RS 3 combo too 🙂
I'm probably picking up the RSC 2. I don't have RS3 money right now.
That's fair. They are super similar
Nice video 📸
Thanks!
glidecams require skill and gimbals are so easy even a 5yr old can handle one
