Hi, I have recently bought a DJI OM6 gimbal, and as a beginner, i was struggling with how to use it properly, especially modes and triggers. However, i have learned about the features from many videos, but still not with the depth of knowledge you have explained. Trust me, i have seen sooooo many videos, and it's a big thumbs-down to all the so-called fancy, overly-louded content creators or so-called promoters who have created tutorials on this equipment. You are very welcome. With any gimbal there is a learning curve. Just like you said practice will make it perfect. If you try a little bit every day in a week or two, you will feel more comfortable. Best wishes

I bought mine a year ago. I was super excited to use it. I found this video and a couple others I saved but never watched this one. The others were too confusing. I put it back in its pouch and haven’t touched it again until today. I don’t really have a need for it though, I just wanted one because all the cool kids use them, lol! But we’re leaving for Vegas tomorrow and I pulled it back out to take with us. I just watched this video and I had it up and running in a few minutes. Thanks so much for an easy to understand video. I should have watched it a year ago, but I forgot about it. Out of sight out of mind. I’ve subbed to your channel for quick references.

Thank you for the video. I purchased my gimbal a little over a year ago, but haven't used it for a while. So I needed a little refresher course. It has so many features, it's a lot to learn. Does the DJI app allow you to change between the front and rear cameras while filming?
Unfortunately, I don’t think that you can change the front and your camera during recording. You have to make a choice before you press the record button. Thank you very much for your support. I’m glad the video is helpful.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I impulse-purchased this thing 2 weeks ago, and put it away, intimidated by it and the hidden sub-menus. But your tutorial quickly brought me up to speed and gave me some encouragement. I'm now sort of anxious to use it and play with it. You've given a nice foundation to stand on. And a gimbal can be very intimidating when you first try it out. It takes a little bit of a time to get used to it. Once you use it more and more, you will see that it becomes easy.

@@ZdenkaDarula Thank you. I got the new toy today. It's very cute, compact and travel-friendly. It fits well into the hand and the apps seem user-friendly. Definitely not as intimidating and big as my feyutech.
I bought an ankle weight (people use for walking) and strap it to my wrist to bring down the shakiness the human hand causes. weighting gimbles is an old trick. in fact I tried my steady cam rocker arm and mounted this to the top and its amazing. thanks for the video as always. lots of good stuff and you have fun doing it!

I just got this Gimbal yesterday and watching this video was so helpful and I'm going to watvh it a few more times and get to know it from your guide. First impressions was it's compact and well made. Cinematic and time lapse will be great with this Gimbal. I'm using s24 ultra and I do plan to use my Huawei P50pro too. I'd like to try and do time lapse of the Northern lights as I took great shots of the northern lights with the Huawei P40pro so it'll be interesting why not time lapse with Huawei P40pro? You sound like a pro and learning abouy this Gimbal from you gives me better understand on this Gimbal and getting the most from it too. Thanks very much for video!

Nice guide! Thank you. My question is this though. Does the DJI APP give ypu the option to change shooting resolution? For some reason i cant see how to do it on my Iphone 13 pro max...same with ISO settings and everyrhing else. It obly gives me expisure and focus settings. Or am I just blind?
The iPhone 16 Pro Max with the phone case weighs 295 grams. According to the OM6 specifications, it supports up to 290 grams. Would using it with the case cause any issues?
A very helpful tutorial, thank you. One problem I have is when filming with the gimbal upside down to take ground level shots. You cannot press the record button and then turn the gimbal upside down because it records upside down - you have to turn the gimbal upside down and then press record. However, the controls are now all on the wrong side and hard to see and get at. Do you have any tips for filming in this mode?
Do you think that this is good for still photography also or is this only for video I would assume with the gimbal and the stabilization it would be good for both?
Hi, I like this gimbal and want to make sure it is right for me. I have moment lenses and my concern is with the weight. Will this unit fail or will it work if I use counterweights? I think your videos are great!!

No, it is not integrated like Filmic Pro. You can only control shutter button.

Yes you can just press the trigger 1x and it will start tracking you. You just turn it off the same way.
Hi. Why is my phone always placing itself vertically? No matter what mode I turn on or what I do with my hand it will always place itself vertically, wtf???

The iPhone 16 Pro Max with the phone case weighs 295 grams. According to the OM6 specifications, it supports up to 290 grams. Would using it with the case cause any issues?
You should be fine. You might just be draining the battery a little bit faster.

A very helpful tutorial, thank you. One problem I have is when filming with the gimbal upside down to take ground level shots. You cannot press the record button and then turn the gimbal upside down because it records upside down - you have to turn the gimbal upside down and then press record. However, the controls are now all on the wrong side and hard to see and get at. Do you have any tips for filming in this mode?
Unfortunately, it is the way it is. You just have to get used to it.

Hi! Can you flip the camera from front to back? (Do not confuse with switching the camera).
No.. you can only install it one way however you can spin the gimbal 180 degrees

Yes, you can do that. You just have to enable timer.
