Because it was always a cringey rip off of 60s Victoriana, as if you fed every Beatles and Kinks song into an AI. These fuckers never wrote a single original note or word in their lives.
I can remember when I was a child, and my father had this CD in his car, I loved the long travels listening this CD again and again and again... Now, the fells when I listen this song, are indescribable.
My favourite song of all time. Words mean so much to me and have got me through many a bad time. It inspires me to keep going. I want it played at my funeral. I love you Simon. You and the band mean so much to me. Never stop rockin. See you at Cox's Yard on 14th.
Saw these chaps at The Sage last night. This being a particular favorite song brought a lump to my throat. Beautiful song. More so when done acoustically.
Great comments, Im an original mod girl of the 60's, I absolutely love this band and I so admire & respect them, Cradock is amazing! I finally got to see them play live in March after being a fan for years, Ive seen Weller live a few times recently too and to me its Weller & Cradock I really want to see : )
I've been to many top concerts including paul weller, foo fighters, Metallica and arctic monkeys but these guys were the most incredible gig I ever saw! Totally awesome!! Talented through and through.
+Henry Here It does me to honey but it reminds me of the good times we went to their gigs n others n the antics he (my mate that passed away over in Iran) BLESS HIS SOUL...got up to 1 close to mind was winding up Lee Evan's classic...Hugs to you honey xx
seen ocs 4 times now and they get better everytime, weller coming out at the kasbah in cov was a great moment ,seen oasis at maine road when ocs and manics supported fantastic day !!!
one of the best bands in UK last 20 years,i liked so much the simon fowler style, his hairdo, his wardrobe, the way he move and sing...its the polished singer guy in UK. He doesn,t need stir up troubles, quarrel, uproars as gallagher,s brothers! the most important thing its the brilliant music, doesn,t matter the rest.
I remember when I was 14yrs old listening to dance music,my brother was constantly telling me its shit, and one day he gave me the Mosley shores album,I'm 35 now, thanks brother,u changed my life forever 👍👍👍
top track...i was listening 2 this on my walkman whilst on a train in nothern thailand which broke down in the middle of no where....local villagers put us up for the night till train was fixed next day....ace song with memories attached
Great song this but can anyone tell me the title of the Song..... i'm on my way to the next town ,i'm on my way don't worry , and i'm on my way my heads been down and down and down and i'm on my way. it goes some thing like that but can't remember the title. Thanks
simon fowler got the best voice of the last 15 years in UK ,only compares paul weller, his voice transmit paceful,quietly...amazing simon, and amazing thats masterpiece.
Such a fantastic band, the sound, the lyrics, massively unrated, could listen to these guys for hours! Actually sounds better the older it gets 😎

i really agree with you. it is odd that they have been largely forgotten when their music has not at all dated.
Seen them at Rothes Halls on thusday, I can't believe they play at such small venues. Superb!
Saw them last year at the Engine shed in Lincoln, bloody brilliant
Why do I find this song so emotional? xx
The Beatles' long shade. Beautiful song. OCS had very good taste.
@ocelopyrocelot
clone of oasis?? they were formed before oasis
correct...little men that borrow tunes they heard just yesterday is a dig at Oasis and their Beatles copying...
have this band copied (whit this song) a song of Oasis or a Beatles song? thank you
Oasis couldn't tie this bands shoe laces musically or creatively. And that's from someone who loved Oasis.
