This song was played at my brother in laws funeral 7 years ago. The Charlatans were his favourite band. I often come here to listen to this song and think of him. Miss you H.

This song and video puts a huge smile on my face. How can it not? Reminds me of hanging out with friends in the 90’s going from pub to pub. Those were truly magical times. Glad the charlatans as still making music. My fav Manchester band for sure.

I remember listening to Tellin Stories when it came out.I was seventeen.The whole album reminds me of going out with my first girlfriend and a brilliant summer..just going out having fun,partying and being free & young.

I was 16 when this released. I remember buying the single from Woolworths in cleethorpes. Me and a mate had nicked my nans caravan keys and headed off to cleggy for the weekend.
I'm hoping I'm remembering this right, but i think i bought blurs song 2 at the same time. I seem to remember getting that out the bargain bin though, so I'm not sure if it released at the exact same time.
Anyway, happy memories. I just believe it was 25 years ago.

When I was singer in our band a few years ago playing indie songs I suggested we play this as it is in my top 5. First gig, the crowd went MENTAL for it as no one ever plays it. Was a great night had by all especially the singer! 🤣

This reminds me of Jayden from power rangers samurai, I'm 13 and I love 90's music. About 7 years ago I used to watch power rangers after mlikshake on channel 5,Alex Heartman looks unrecognisable now but I still remember when I used to watch him and this song reminds of him.
