I had the privilege of seeing them live this year, and when they played this I just felt an emotion I had never felt before. Amazing.

We lost him on Christmas Eve, what a terrible time to feel loss. My heart, and my tears, are for everyone who regularly comes here for comfort. Whenever he or they do this acoustically, Simon always looks choked up at the end. It obviously means a great deal to him on a personal level. Very moving. I have a lot of time and respect for all of OCS, especially Mr Fowler.
Steve cradocks guitar playing is just perfect in this performance. OCS songs never age. I love the fact that you could break this down to individual components voice / guitars and it still be a stunning rendition. Amazing.

Every Time I have heard Simon Fowler sing this acoustically, it sounds like his heart is breaking. A piece of beautiful poetry from 1 of the truly brilliant bands from these shores. Completely underrated apart from those that get them.

Simply amazing, thanks for uploading. I was lucky enough to "meet" Simon very briefly in Glasgow last night after the Merrymouth sgig and he signed my copy of the CD. I was like an excited teenager and could barely even tell him my name for the autograph. Eventually when I shook his hand I managed to say "Thanks for the music", almost quoting Abba which is a bit embarrassing. I took a couple of videos of him doing Robin Hood and The Circle myself which I will try to upload later. What a guy.

I remember when I first heard Moseley Shoals ( around 1996) right in the middle of Britpop ( but they were more like a 60s 70s revival band) I listened to that album a million times fantastic songs ..
Such a great band. The song was originally written in this melancholic style but on the Moseley Shoals album was more of an upbeat classic which in itself is brilliant but this is just perfect. Reminds me of the long hot summer of '96. 14 years old and discovering great music. What a time to be alive...
Absolut gold seen these guys 3 times at the manny apollo one of the most underated bnands ever. Whenever I hear this song it brings a tear of joy to my EYE!

I was recovering from cancer in 96 and was feeling depressed after all the trauma x this song reflects how I felt 100%
