I love this.. Steve Craddock has done many great things in music, but for me this is his greatest. The others are great on this too , but the guitar on this is amazing.
Was there too... saved all summer to go to this and it was amazing... 6 years later I am working the Roadmender in Northampton and get to tell the boys off for inviting people and not putting them on the guest list... Priceless!
Fucking rocking tune! Steve is definitely up there with the top guitarists of all time! You got to see them live to really appreciate how amazing they are...they blow me away every time... Wish Steve all the best with his solo album 'The Kundalini Target'...top bloke!
I was there for the friday and saturday gigs to this day the best gigs and band i've ever seen they deserve more sucess than they've had can't belive i threw away the poster dammit !
Just as something a little different to the general Weller/Craddock praise, the drummer grinning like a loon smacking drums rather made me chuckle. The nod at the end to kill it... :D
Think you caught Steve on an off night mate, I've met him a few times and he has always been a top bloke...I actually found Weller to be a moody git and I am a life long Weller fan....
Cool song. I love the way it compresses a dozen other great guitar riffs into a blender and comes out something that sounds so familiar but unique at the same time. My only complaint with OCS is that this is pretty much it in terms of rockin' tunes. The rest of them as far as I can tell are mid-tempo and only mildly compelling R&B.
@Huckleberrygrove I'd say what else makes a guitarist great is distinction. White, Bellamy, Homme and Squire(Still in Craddocks era I meant)have distinction. Weller is good and has alot of soul but I wouldn't put him in the same league as Craddock.
Come to Serbia, Why when they can come to ireland! and are doing as i write, goin on stage in 6 hours and ill be there.... serbia ha ha ah hah. bet even they'll get a kick outta that. Not exactly prime gigging territory.....
So underrated. Those lads are without a doubt in my mind, one of the best British bands in the last 20 years, easily. OCS!
I love this.. Steve Craddock has done many great things in music, but for me this is his greatest. The others are great on this too , but the guitar on this is amazing.

Craddock was the Britpop Jimmy Page!

The lead from 1:00 to 1:14. Oh god. so good
This is from their DVD/Box set that came out early in the 2000s. I forget the name, but it's something like their Anthology. Good DVD.
Saw them at Wembley arena - would've been 1997/1998ish? Superb.

I thought the tfl Friday was great but this is off the charts. Craddock is on another level
Their drummer is effortlessly cool
Also, he’s playing complex beats like they’re nothing.
@@nick260682 Yes my ears come to life following his beats😍
Guitar hero world tour!!
is this available on dvd?
These could have been as big as Oasis or bigger
