If kvyat left, he could have replaced him. A seat at alpha tauri or red bull.But Helmut Marko has the strict policy and signs only Red Bull academy drivers

The podium he get at debut showed how much potential he had. Sad to see him sidelined by Alonso, then racing with uncompetitive machines, and left F1 with unfulfilled potential.
