The scissors was your first Thing ally, now, they have become your greatest Foe. I too fought the Scissors head on, breaking it's shield, and it was intense. The fast falling cut, the spins, the fakeouts, not to mention the freeze frame when he uts that makes you think if you even did it correctly. Such a fun fight

Here for the mob. Koopaling fights in superstar got ROBBED. Cortez ROBBED. And OG paper Mario bosses all got robbed though the reason is understandable. I respect the opinions though, and it brought new light to bosses I didn't think much about. I will say I hate accepting that OG cackletta soul might be the best boss fight in Mario RPGs (to me) but M&L:SS has some of the easiest bosses

Elder princess Shroob is an underrated masterpiece. I really like the dark atmosphere and the (for me) very witchlike background soundtrack in the second phase, that really lifts the boss battle up a notch
Honestly I think princess shroob would be great because of her awesome attacks if it weren’t for the fact that you can beat her in like 3 good bros moves

I'm a fan of Bonetail from TTYD, getting to him in the first place is already a huge commitment and gauntlet. Then when you do, every move counts because you are set back so far. It creates so much tension because of how much is riding on even getting one try. Paper Mario 1 has this really fun boss known as General Guy who summons all sorts of different gimmicky Shy Guys to fight against you. That's my pick from that game.

Here is my list for my favorite mario rpg bosses yes i am including giant bosses for the mario and luigi one. 10. Bowser fight from Bis I really like this boss because fighting yourself is unique concept I like when you have to use starlow when he breathes fire that my favorite from him he uses minion attack from him he uses his minion attack with shy guys that good and moves faster when he does it for me that makes the boss more funer and he is not to difficult he is just one my favorite fights in bowser's inside story. 9. Hole Puncher in tok I really love the concept when he does the punching move and it's one my favorite attacks is when he punchs mario's face I really like his dancing for me this boss is difficult because it took me forever to defeat him he is like strong I remeber falling in one of the holes from hole puncher by accident the dumbest thing I ever did in a mario rpg by favorite attack from hole puncher is when he is using a powerful attack and you have to use earth vellumatal than use 1000 fold arms to get his back and pell his back awesome concept. 8. Sunnycide from pit for me this boss was out of nowhere it's like smorg from ttyd was out of nowhere I was shocked when I saw him when I first play pit and you have to release the yoshi eggs out which is a good concept and I use green shells to make the boss more difficult except when he is on his back I used the cannon attack and fighting him was fun. 7. Fawful express from Bis my favorite giant boss fight in the entrie game I like the diffcuilty when you have to chase the train when you play as bowser and have to catch him until he gets to the station where the chain chomp is and you have to blow the ds mic good concept for me this boss is fun. 6. Doopliss (second time) from ttyd I really like when he uses the partners against you one my favorite parts in ttyd and it's a really fun fight i always attack doopliss first best part is when vivian does not to be with you when you fight doopliss than I believe it's either the third action command or the fourth one is when vivian decides to join with mario I need to play this game again because for me it's one my favorite mario games. 5. Earthwake from dream team he is a fun boss better verison of tower of yikki form bowser's inside story because you actually have to push him in the water but only difference you can use luigi's hammer to push him in the water his attacks are fun to dodge and my favorite from him is when he using the hammer and yes this boss his armor making the boss more difficult in my own opinion. 4. Dark Fawful from bis I got to say Fawful is one my favorite villains of all time a great personailty for a boss and he has really good attacks like dark magic to make bowser either punch, duck with his shell, using gun to attack you can low your defense if not careful. My favorite attack from him is when he uses the dark circles around him and have to use the goombas to get rid of black holes. I like vaccum helmet concept. It's is so unique to me, easily my favorite boss in Bowser's inside story. 3. Elite trio from dream team and the shadow queen from ttyd I couldn't decide between to good bosses with good concept one of them is difficult so let's start with elite trio is a fun fight in dream team I like the attacks they are fun to dodge in my own opinion I like the green shy guy because of his bomb attack one my favorite boss in dream team and he is so cool and I like the red flying koopa is cool as well. Here goes the shadow queen fight my favorite paper mario final boss ever through spm is my favorite in the paper mario series. I like the invicble power of the shadow queen in one of the phases when she is low on hp she takes the announce sorry for misspelling and than the third phase she can heal her hp which is a good spike of difficulty I did not think elder princess shroob couldn't did it on the second phase shadow queen for me was a fun final boss easily my favorite paper mario boss of all time. 2. Dreamy Bowser from dream team the music is just too good my favorite final boss theme ever in mario rpg for me adventures end is just a bop alphadream and nintendo nailed it let's get to the attacks really good i love his arm attack when he either grabs Mario or Luigi and I like it when he blocks his head so you can't attack his main part making the boss more difficult and he has my favorite attack in all dream team is when he breathes fire attack my favorite attack for that boss and the minion attack and healing good makes the final boss more difficult because the I love the music easily my favorite bowser fight in the mario rpgs. 1. Antasma from dream team this might be suprise but this boss is fun and the music is my favorite mario rpg track of all time which is antasma battle theme I love when he puts mario to sleep and give him a nightmare and you have to go through the blade things, second I attack him by jumping on my second playthrough of dream team to make the boss more difficult even munchies can heal him when he is alseep to more fun to attack his munchies are the name of the game this why this my favorite mario rpg boss of all time.
I don't really have a favorite Boss out of the Mario Rpg series but if I had to pick some they would be: Huff and puff Baby Bowser/Bowser Bowser(BIS) Elite trio Wiggler(Paper jam) Antasma x King Boo Just to name a few.
When you fight antasma x its hard but if you learn all of his actions and especially on the chase segment it becomes a rush same goes for bowser juniors boss in dream team in the battle medley takes a bit to get there but its like a victory lap for it. I played them on normal mode btw.
Oh then play it on hard mode lol, but I love the fight because it fixed my problem with the original Antasma and it’s a flawless fight now, for me at least
Bowser X from Inside Story is harder imo. I’m not saying Antasma wasn’t hard, he’s definitely hard, I’m saying Bowser X is WAY harder because of his numerous attacks that are difficult to dodge and his TON of health
A solid list with some weird choices. I will say that Bowser's Snow Statue is far better then Petey in my opinion for size alone. It's this massive enemy and when the camera zooms out so far and Mario is just this little speck near his foot is just this, "Oh shit" moment.
For each of the Mario and Luigi and Paper Mario Games, excluding final bosses my favorite bosses from each game are as followed SMRPG: Captain Johnny Superstar Saga: Popple and Rookie 2 Bowser's Minions: The Koopalings (the one where you fight all 7 at once) Partners in Time: Bowser Duo Bowser's Inside Story: Alpha and Beta Kretin (Giant: Peach's Castle) Bowser Junior's Journey: Roy's 1v1, and Morton (both are amazing) Dream Team: Antasma(Elite Trio close second) (Giant: Giant Bowser-yeah I know you hate it, I love the fight) Paper Jam: King Boo(King Bob-omb is a close second) (Papercraft: Papercraft King Boo) Paper Mario 64: Koopa Bros TTYD: Smorg Super: Mr. L and Brobot Sticker Star: Mr. Blizzard Color Splash: (haven't fully played) Origami King: Tape Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle(because it does count as an RPG): Rabbid Kong (mainly because I have not yet fought the world 3 and 4 bosses yet.
@@ShroobInvader I like it more for the concept than the actual fight. The fact that bowser says showtime before you fight him, and learned to be giant because of bis is so cool
I always see people use the luiginary hammer for Antasma yet the flame is much more effective. Certain enemies are able to be hit many times by the fireballs from the luiginary flame and antasma is one of those bosses who can get hit many times by the flames. This paired with the duplex crown and fully ranked up can end the battle in only 2 to 3 turns
If you'd like Brobot to last longer, try going in underleveled. You can't attack it with normal attacks and need the power and missile chocolate bars in order to hurt him. Squirps clones are permanent, so I had like 5 of them by the end of the fight
@@ShroobInvader I'm still yet to beat Super Dimentio on that save file lol SPM underleveled is actually pretty challenging, it's interesting that Brobot is actually affected by your normal attack stats. Loved your ranking by the way, Antasma is awesome!

My favorite boss in dream team is Dreamy Mario. If you don't remember Dreamy Mario, its because he was the tutorial boss for the dream world, and because of this he never had an X form. I like mimic bosses.

I beat the bowser jr. duo in paper jam so fast that I didn't get the tutorial on the giant ball mechanic so when it appeared later in the game I was confused for a few attempts. Like, I knew what to do, but I didn't really get the timing for a bit. Great fun!
Scissors and the other Things in Paper Mario are so cool they give me Ultra Beast Wibes like in Pokemon. I hope to see him agane in the next Paper Mario Game......just a little more extrem and sadistic.

Gonna rank all my favorites from all the RPGS. SMRPG: Culex. I love a challenge. PM64: Tubba Blubba. The sheer satisfaction of finally defeating an "invincible" boss. PMTTYD: Bowser 2. While it's cruel it happens RIGHT after Grodus, it's also genius. SPM: O'Cabbage. O'chunks but he's insanely fast. Awesome. PMSS: Gooper Blooper. The entire fight being music based was cool. PMCS: I'm gonna go with Larry on this one. Maybe it's my bias because he's my favorite Koopaling. PMTOK: Scissors. Paper beat Scissors. So cool. M&LSS: Popple & Rookie. The only memorable bosses in the game IMO. M&LPIT: Princess Shroob. Aside from the damned forcefield, this fight was neat. M&LBIS: Bowser 2. You fight the villain YOU trained. M&LDT: Final Antasma. Best Dreamy fight and best fight overall. M&LPJ: Larry & Ludwig. They use battle cards too! Bowser's Minions: Fawful. Not much to say about a side mode that stinked. Bowser Jr's Journey: Bowser. Holy heck, this was a good challenge. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle: Phantom. Not only was this a challenge, he's a master of roasts. Mario + Rabbids Donkey Kong Adventure: Final Rabbid Kong. I know it's a final boss, but it's so damn cinematic. Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: I dunno. Not out yet.

Super paper Mario: well I either like super Dimentio or king croacus if I had to choose one it will be king croacus I love when he hides his weak point and that makes the boss more difficult. Mario and Luigi bowsers inside story: Dark Fawful of course I really good I like the concept and you have to take out the vaccum helmet. Paper Mario sticker star: Glooper Blooper I love the music I love the attacks when he spits poison i love that attack my favorite in sticker star. For the best list yes, for the worst list no, because an optional boss at the end of the day is optional so if I hate it I don’t have to do it, but if I love it then I can fight it
Honestly I like the Roy boss but it’s definitely not my favorite because it’s really easy to cheese Just use the Frog Suit and suddenly you can dodge every single paint blob he shoots at you

(I have only played half of the Mario RPG's, M+R does not count here, also this does not include final bosses) My List: #10 - Dry Bowser (Paper Jam) It is a relief to fight this Boss after the Garbage Heap that is the Kamek Duo (& it's Boomerang Attack), & the fact that it can summon the Koopalings is cool (I guess). Other than that I don't really remember much about Dry Bowser. #9 - Iggy (Color Splash) The Arena looks cool, I guess? antasma x is the best boss of all mario rpgs, much hp, very hard and cool attacks and dodging them makes a lot damage. in my opinion he's the hardest mario and luigi boss if youre not overleveled or sth, sad that dream team has a lot of unfair equiptments which can make him very easy but i hate using them, fighting against him makes so much fun. and btw i'm subbing to you bc i love mario rpgs, and i also agree with most of your opinions

You have to find a way to defeat him outside of battle) Mario RPG: Cake (not explaining, you need to experience it on your own. Just know that you can thank this boss fight for the overall style of Mario RPG boss fights) Rabbids: Tom Phan (My lips are sealed here too; just know it's good)
Knowing about these bosses beforehand ruins them. I wouldn't have picked any of these if they were spoiled beforehand. Just know that Tubba Blubba walked so Doopliss could run
**Spoilers Below** Ohhhhhh Antasma X…. The bane of my childhood. Yes, it’s an amazing fight, but I CONSTANTLY got Two or even ONE-HIT by that boss. I know it was an optional boss, but Dream Team was my Favorite Mario RPG Back then… it still is, even though I’m playing all of them over again. It took me exactly THREE YEARS to beat that boss. The bats are fast, the chase attack is good but Bull at times, and the saws do a lot of damage. If you’re underleveled like I was back then, DO NOT TRY IT. Still an amazing boss though-

I used my power up badge andenemy def down badge, then zee egged the right arm, leaving bowser open for two star rockets in a row (Luigi can attack twice in one turn) with 2 crits dealing over 1700 damage each! Man I love this game!
It’s funny that Petey Piranha is the best Sticker Star fight (outside of Gooper Blooper only for its gimmick) only because the gimmick is that you don’t have Kersti so you aren’t expected to use Things. The same applies to Mizzter Blizzard once you realize you don’t need things to defeat him if you are fine with how generic he is. It really proves that whatever battle system it set up is utterly useless.
the concept of bosses get counted right? the blizzard midbus fight is a final battle against your rival midbus is like a rival for bowser so I don’t think that “the bowser jr duo is better but still lower” thing shouldn’t have happened
To be honest I never really cared that midbus was your rival in a way, I mean both of his fights were good but I actually think the Bowser Jr Duo has better attacks even tho I just completely forget about them unlike Blizzard Midbus
Petey Piranha for Sticker Star, kinda sucks, Megasparkle Goomba is actually my favorite of all time and to be fair every sticker star boss theme is great. I do have a problem with the petey fight, if you use an infinijump sticker, when Petey is under 100 HP, it doesn’t kill Petey because of the dry bones, I actually lost this fight because of that dry bones. I don’t know if this counts as one, but I applaud the Giant cheep chomp from World 5 in sticker star, it was sort of fun, but then you also stated you hate world 5. Me, personally, I don’t mind that level and plus The Giant Cheep Chomp boss fight from specifically world 5 is probably the most forgotten level in that game besides the 6-1 gate cliff level All Bowser Jr. fights are pretty good, The first one teaches you about “things”. the second teaches his personality, and the third one is a crap a lot better than any of kamek’s or the final fight for which we do not speak of
For me personally, since I really didn’t enjoy many parts of sticker Star when I got to Petey Piranha, he was just such a breath of fresh air and I bet when I fight him when I have to inevitably replay this game it will be a decent fight which is all I jeed
The mark of a good roster of bosses (sadly, this can also apply to awful rosters) is that for tie breakers, you need minute, almost crappy reasons to rank one boss over another Not a critique on you, but showing that i FEEL you
You really need to finish PM64 and Mario and Rabbids as those are some really good games. I actually prefer PM64 over TTYD (Probably because of nostalgia but idk) and Mario and Rabbids is a really good crossover. SMRPG while it may have been the first Mario RPG I don't think its as good as the other Mario RPG's. I still recommend playing it but if you had the choice between playing SMRPG and PM64 I would honestly recommend you pick PM64.
@@ShroobInvader I never actually beat all the X bosses, never had the time to yet, but one day I want to do that and eventually fight Bowser Jr who I hear is the hardest boss in any Mario and Luigi game.

One question if we count Antasma X why don’t we count the bonus bowser fight in bowsers inside story in the challenge node? because in my opinion it is better than blizzard midbuss
so... idk if its just me but the mammoth boss in dream team is the WORST boss. because if you mess up in one part of the stage, you basically have to do it ALL OVER and its annoying.

The scissors was your first Thing ally, now, they have become your greatest Foe. I too fought the Scissors head on, breaking it's shield, and it was intense. The fast falling cut, the spins, the fakeouts, not to mention the freeze frame when he uts that makes you think if you even did it correctly. Such a fun fight

Here for the mob. Koopaling fights in superstar got ROBBED. Cortez ROBBED. And OG paper Mario bosses all got robbed though the reason is understandable.
I respect the opinions though, and it brought new light to bosses I didn't think much about. I will say I hate accepting that OG cackletta soul might be the best boss fight in Mario RPGs (to me) but M&L:SS has some of the easiest bosses

Elder princess Shroob is an underrated masterpiece. I really like the dark atmosphere and the (for me) very witchlike background soundtrack in the second phase, that really lifts the boss battle up a notch

I'm a fan of Bonetail from TTYD, getting to him in the first place is already a huge commitment and gauntlet. Then when you do, every move counts because you are set back so far. It creates so much tension because of how much is riding on even getting one try.
Paper Mario 1 has this really fun boss known as General Guy who summons all sorts of different gimmicky Shy Guys to fight against you. That's my pick from that game.
Good to know for Paper Mario and I have never fought bonetail, so I don’t have an opinion on him

8)Bowser X/Bowser Jr from Dream Team:challenging and unexpected,that's how you make a good Secret Boss
7)Kamek From Dream Team,Paper Jam and Color Splash: the Kamek fights are so,so good in all the Mario RPGs,it's hard to decide which is better
6)Tape: great personality,great theme and Phase 2 is awesome
5)Crystal King: Paper Mario 64 didn't have an original villain,but he makes up for that. I wish for him to return someday
4)Stapler and Scissors:The music is a banger in both cases,they're both tough and have great buildup
3)Antasma and Dreamy Bowser: I consider Antasma as Final Boss phase 1 and Bowser as phase 2. Both have great attacks,great music,great chasing segments and are both great antagonists
2)Dark Bowser and Fawful: the same things I said for Bowser and Antasma,but better: You're basically fighting your twin brother,and the atmosphere is perfect
1)King Olly:the buildup is amazing,all 3 phases are challenging and fun,the music is unnaturally a banger(especially phase 1&3)and it's a great way to end a fantastic game like Origami King

Here is my list for my favorite mario rpg bosses yes i am including giant bosses for the mario and luigi one.
10. Bowser fight from Bis I really like this boss because fighting yourself is unique concept I like when you have to use starlow when he breathes fire that my favorite from him he uses minion attack from him he uses his minion attack with shy guys that good and moves faster when he does it for me that makes the boss more funer and he is not to difficult he is just one my favorite fights in bowser's inside story.
9. Hole Puncher in tok I really love the concept when he does the punching move and it's one my favorite attacks is when he punchs mario's face I really like his dancing for me this boss is difficult because it took me forever to defeat him he is like strong I remeber falling in one of the holes from hole puncher by accident the dumbest thing I ever did in a mario rpg by favorite attack from hole puncher is when he is using a powerful attack and you have to use earth vellumatal than use 1000 fold arms to get his back and pell his back awesome concept.
8. Sunnycide from pit for me this boss was out of nowhere it's like smorg from ttyd was out of nowhere I was shocked when I saw him when I first play pit and you have to release the yoshi eggs out which is a good concept and I use green shells to make the boss more difficult except when he is on his back I used the cannon attack and fighting him was fun.
7. Fawful express from Bis my favorite giant boss fight in the entrie game I like the diffcuilty when you have to chase the train when you play as bowser and have to catch him until he gets to the station where the chain chomp is and you have to blow the ds mic good concept for me this boss is fun.
6. Doopliss (second time) from ttyd I really like when he uses the partners against you one my favorite parts in ttyd and it's a really fun fight i always attack doopliss first best part is when vivian does not to be with you when you fight doopliss than I believe it's either the third action command or the fourth one is when vivian decides to join with mario I need to play this game again because for me it's one my favorite mario games.
5. Earthwake from dream team he is a fun boss better verison of tower of yikki form bowser's inside story because you actually have to push him in the water but only difference you can use luigi's hammer to push him in the water his attacks are fun to dodge and my favorite from him is when he using the hammer and yes this boss his armor making the boss more difficult in my own opinion.
4. Dark Fawful from bis I got to say Fawful is one my favorite villains of all time a great personailty for a boss and he has really good attacks like dark magic to make bowser either punch, duck with his shell, using gun to attack you can low your defense if not careful. My favorite attack from him is when he uses the dark circles around him and have to use the goombas to get rid of black holes. I like vaccum helmet concept. It's is so unique to me, easily my favorite boss in Bowser's inside story.
3. Elite trio from dream team and the shadow queen from ttyd I couldn't decide between to good bosses with good concept one of them is difficult so let's start with elite trio is a fun fight in dream team I like the attacks they are fun to dodge in my own opinion I like the green shy guy because of his bomb attack one my favorite boss in dream team and he is so cool and I like the red flying koopa is cool as well. Here goes the shadow queen fight my favorite paper mario final boss ever through spm is my favorite in the paper mario series. I like the invicble power of the shadow queen in one of the phases when she is low on hp she takes the announce sorry for misspelling and than the third phase she can heal her hp which is a good spike of difficulty I did not think elder princess shroob couldn't did it on the second phase shadow queen for me was a fun final boss easily my favorite paper mario boss of all time.

Dreamy Bowser from dream team the music is just too good my favorite final boss theme ever in mario rpg for me adventures end is just a bop alphadream and nintendo nailed it let's get to the attacks really good i love his arm attack when he either grabs Mario or Luigi and I like it when he blocks his head so you can't attack his main part making the boss more difficult and he has my favorite attack in all dream team is when he breathes fire attack my favorite attack for that boss and the minion attack and healing good makes the final boss more difficult because the I love the music easily my favorite bowser fight in the mario rpgs.

When you fight antasma x its hard but if you learn all of his actions and especially on the chase segment it becomes a rush same goes for bowser juniors boss in dream team in the battle medley takes a bit to get there but its like a victory lap for it. I played them on normal mode btw.
Oh then play it on hard mode lol, but I love the fight because it fixed my problem with the original Antasma and it’s a flawless fight now, for me at least

Bowser X from Inside Story is harder imo. I’m not saying Antasma wasn’t hard, he’s definitely hard, I’m saying Bowser X is WAY harder because of his numerous attacks that are difficult to dodge and his TON of health
A solid list with some weird choices. I will say that Bowser's Snow Statue is far better then Petey in my opinion for size alone. It's this massive enemy and when the camera zooms out so far and Mario is just this little speck near his foot is just this, "Oh shit" moment.

The fact that bowser says showtime before you fight him, and learned to be giant because of bis is so cool
I always see people use the luiginary hammer for Antasma yet the flame is much more effective.
Certain enemies are able to be hit many times by the fireballs from the luiginary flame and antasma is one of those bosses who can get hit many times by the flames.
This paired with the duplex crown and fully ranked up can end the battle in only 2 to 3 turns

If you'd like Brobot to last longer, try going in underleveled. You can't attack it with normal attacks and need the power and missile chocolate bars in order to hurt him. Squirps clones are permanent, so I had like 5 of them by the end of the fight

SPM underleveled is actually pretty challenging, it's interesting that Brobot is actually affected by your normal attack stats. Loved your ranking by the way, Antasma is awesome!

My favorite boss in dream team is Dreamy Mario. If you don't remember Dreamy Mario, its because he was the tutorial boss for the dream world, and because of this he never had an X form. I like mimic bosses.

I beat the bowser jr. duo in paper jam so fast that I didn't get the tutorial on the giant ball mechanic so when it appeared later in the game I was confused for a few attempts. Like, I knew what to do, but I didn't really get the timing for a bit. Great fun!

SPM: O'Cabbage. O'chunks but he's insanely fast. Awesome.
PMSS: Gooper Blooper. The entire fight being music based was cool.

I loved this video and I managed to recognize all the bosses that had their own special themes (maybe not dooplas (I think he shares the song with some other bosses))
My favorite Mario rpg boss each game I played a little of color splash and super Mario rpg legend of seven stars.
Paper Mario 64: General guy I love the concept remains me of the elite trio in Mario and Luigi dream team.
Mario and Luigi superstar saga: Crab guy I forgot his name or rookie and popple I love that fight so much I let them use there bros attack.
Paper Mario ttyd: I really like shadow queen fight and her attacks are fun to dodge.
Mario and Luigi partners in time:Elder shroobid I really love the fight i like star hill for a reason well if you did not count the ufo knock you out in the second phase and actually had fun with the second phase.
Super paper Mario: well I either like super Dimentio or king croacus if I had to choose one it will be king croacus I love when he hides his weak point and that makes the boss more difficult.
Mario and Luigi bowsers inside story: Dark Fawful of course I really good I like the concept and you have to take out the vaccum helmet.
Paper Mario sticker star: Glooper Blooper I love the music I love the attacks when he spits poison i love that attack my favorite in sticker star.
Mario and Luigi dream team: Antasma I really like his munchies when he powers up and makes the boss more difficult he can heal also he is dangerous he is the coolest villain my favorite Mario and Luigi villian it was hard to pick between dreamy bowser and Antasma I just pefer the fight with Antasma.
Paper Mario origami king I include the final boss which is king Olly for me he I love his attacks my favorite attack is in when he does is third phase when he uses his sharp attack in Paper Mario origami king.
Mario and Luigi paper jam so far my favorite bosses shiny robobowser of course.

I can’t make a video on that because it’s really hard, but I will say that Origami King is funniest, then Color Splash, then Bowser’s Inside Story, then Partners in Time, then Thousand Year Door, so that’s my top 5, just can’t explain why something is funny, just like music

For the best list yes, for the worst list no, because an optional boss at the end of the day is optional so if I hate it I don’t have to do it, but if I love it then I can fight it

Honestly I like the Roy boss but it’s definitely not my favorite because it’s really easy to cheese
Just use the Frog Suit and suddenly you can dodge every single paint blob he shoots at you

I agree, well I hope I can just become that guy that people say are the Mario RPG guy, so I’m playing through Mario RPG on stream which isn’t working as well as I would have hoped because the gameplay keeps lagging :(, Mario and Rabbids I will finish first because I have it and I’m playing through it, Paper Mario tho, hmm that one will probably be last and I’ll have to get it with Wii U virtual console

Antasma’s theme is one of my top 3 tracks in the entire franchise, other 2 are shiny robobowser, and the disco devil

#10 - Dry Bowser (Paper Jam)
It is a relief to fight this Boss after the Garbage Heap that is the Kamek Duo (& it's Boomerang Attack), & the fact that it can summon the Koopalings is cool (I guess). Other than that I don't really remember much about Dry Bowser.
#9 - Iggy (Color Splash)
The Arena looks cool, I guess? (I am not a fan of Color Splash)
#8 - Lemmy (Color Splash)
Lemmy is a decent boss & the 2 things used are Creative (I guess)
#7 - Mister Blizzard (Sticker Star)
The Roller Coaster Section before the Boss is pretty good & the boss itself is decent
#6 - Ludwig (Color Splash)
This is (what I think is) best boss from Color Splash, do I need to say more
#5 - Sargent Guy (64)
The Boss is Good, I mean you fight an entire army with You & your Partner
#4 - Petey Piranha (Sticker Star)
It's good, but it can be easily chessed with a few POW Blocks & some Flashy Jump Cards
#3 - King Bob-omb (Paper Jam)
A Great Boss that requires you to make Quick decisions (unless you don't care about the Boss rewards or getting an S-Rank)
#2 - Ludwig (Superstar Saga Remake)
It is a breath of fresh air when normally you just Red Pepper & Chopper Bros. everything into the ground, here you have to Counterattack because, otherwise a ball will Insta-Kill Both of the Bros

I think even when you break the scissors cover and go through the harder version of the fight, I still think it a mediocre fight

antasma x is the best boss of all mario rpgs, much hp, very hard and cool attacks and dodging them makes a lot damage. in my opinion he's the hardest mario and luigi boss if youre not overleveled or sth, sad that dream team has a lot of unfair equiptments which can make him very easy but i hate using them, fighting against him makes so much fun. and btw i'm subbing to you bc i love mario rpgs, and i also agree with most of your opinions

Mario RPG: Cake (not explaining, you need to experience it on your own. Just know that you can thank this boss fight for the overall style of Mario RPG boss fights)
Rabbids: Tom Phan (My lips are sealed here too; just know it's good)

Ohhhhhh Antasma X…. The bane of my childhood. Yes, it’s an amazing fight, but I CONSTANTLY got Two or even ONE-HIT by that boss. I know it was an optional boss, but Dream Team was my Favorite Mario RPG Back then… it still is, even though I’m playing all of them over again. It took me exactly THREE YEARS to beat that boss. The bats are fast, the chase attack is good but Bull at times, and the saws do a lot of damage. If you’re underleveled like I was back then, DO NOT TRY IT.
Still an amazing boss though-
And I love that you get 2 hit from this fight, it’s a great feeling to fight it and it is a final boss that was already pretty Dang good

I used my power up badge andenemy def down badge, then zee egged the right arm, leaving bowser open for two star rockets in a row (Luigi can attack twice in one turn) with 2 crits dealing over 1700 damage each! Man I love this game!
It’s funny that Petey Piranha is the best Sticker Star fight (outside of Gooper Blooper only for its gimmick) only because the gimmick is that you don’t have Kersti so you aren’t expected to use Things. The same applies to Mizzter Blizzard once you realize you don’t need things to defeat him if you are fine with how generic he is.
It really proves that whatever battle system it set up is utterly useless.

the blizzard midbus fight is a final battle against your rival
midbus is like a rival for bowser so I don’t think that “the bowser jr duo is better but still lower” thing shouldn’t have happened
To be honest I never really cared that midbus was your rival in a way, I mean both of his fights were good but I actually think the Bowser Jr Duo has better attacks even tho I just completely forget about them unlike Blizzard Midbus

Petey Piranha for Sticker Star, kinda sucks, Megasparkle Goomba is actually my favorite of all time and to be fair every sticker star boss theme is great.
I do have a problem with the petey fight, if you use an infinijump sticker, when Petey is under 100 HP, it doesn’t kill Petey because of the dry bones,
I actually lost this fight because of that dry bones.
I don’t know if this counts as one, but I applaud the Giant cheep chomp from World 5 in sticker star, it was sort of fun, but then you also stated you hate world 5. Me, personally, I don’t mind that level and plus The Giant Cheep Chomp boss fight from specifically world 5 is probably the most forgotten level in that game besides the 6-1 gate cliff level
All Bowser Jr. fights are pretty good,
The first one teaches you about “things”. the second teaches his personality, and the third one is a crap a lot better than any of kamek’s or
the final fight for which we do not speak of
For me personally, since I really didn’t enjoy many parts of sticker Star when I got to Petey Piranha, he was just such a breath of fresh air and I bet when I fight him when I have to inevitably replay this game it will be a decent fight which is all I jeed
with paper jam (I assume) the bosses are probably great all around, but they don't stand out well enough to make a great line-up.

The mark of a good roster of bosses (sadly, this can also apply to awful rosters) is that for tie breakers, you need minute, almost crappy reasons to rank one boss over another

You really need to finish PM64 and Mario and Rabbids as those are some really good games. I actually prefer PM64 over TTYD (Probably because of nostalgia but idk) and Mario and Rabbids is a really good crossover.
SMRPG while it may have been the first Mario RPG I don't think its as good as the other Mario RPG's. I still recommend playing it but if you had the choice between playing SMRPG and PM64 I would honestly recommend you pick PM64.

I thought even the original Antasma fight was challenging honestly.
It probably was for me on my first play through, but now I can have that same challenge always with Antasma X :D
@@ShroobInvader I never actually beat all the X bosses, never had the time to yet, but one day I want to do that and eventually fight Bowser Jr who I hear is the hardest boss in any Mario and Luigi game.
I pefer princess shroob fight over blizzard midbus shadow queen is my favorite paper Mario boss.

I kind of did that, kind of, I did a Bowser fight ranking for the Mario and Luigi games which you should check out, but I would consider doing this, maybe a whole ranking instead of a top 10
One question if we count Antasma X why don’t we count the bonus bowser fight in bowsers inside story in the challenge node? because in my opinion it is better than blizzard midbuss

so... idk if its just me but the mammoth boss in dream team is the WORST boss. because if you mess up in one part of the stage, you basically have to do it ALL OVER and its annoying.
That’s why I like it because it’s extremely difficult but it’s balanced with him having a weak spot
