I taught in a small rural/farming community in Indiana for a couple of decades. For those who did not, you have no idea how valuable stores like this were! I still have plastic utility bucket ... a good 40-years old when I first moved there into my first-ever apartment. I will never ever find another as good or sturdy. Make lots of money! Be Proud and Happy! I have no doubt through the years they have doled out money to many who were in need and actually asked.
That is the neatest store I’ve ever seen. I’ve never seen such a clean and organized store. Wish I lived closer.
WOW! What a store!!!! Amount of inventory is extremely impressive. My boss always reminds me that his mother told him, " you can't sell from an empty cart."

Tipper, I looked up the distance from here in Oklahoma to Blairsville. It would take me 14 and a half hours to get to your book signing. 🥴😅 If i was a rich girl with all the time in the world, I'd hit the road! 😂❤

In the mid to late 70’s we went there many times on our annual trips to Vogel State Park! Got my first pair of Nike’s there. Great people, great memories! Thanks for sharing…

I am almost positive that is the store I bought a dress at when I was 18 years old. I was with my sister who was visiting her in-laws in Blairsville. I’ve been married for 53 years and that was the year before my wedding. I don’t think that would be the same location but there wasn’t much in Blairsville at that time. It was a store that had everything! Anyway, thanks for bringing back a good memory. We have friends who live in Ellijay and we may be going home later this summer, so maybe she and I will go there when I visit.

I'm from Quebec Canada and it amazes me to see the huge selection of guns and ammunition etc. sold so freely where you folks are from. You would never see that back here.! What little they do sell and I don't know where that is is under lock and key. Even bee bee guns. Lovely store! Would have loved to have seen Matt treat himself to that vest and you Tipper to a nice dress and a nice pair of shoes.

Great video as always. Have never been in a store that has that much shooting supplies. Couple at the end where you were talking seemed like a real down to earth people. Loved listening to him talk. Bet Matt wishes he had a million dollars that he could spend in there.

I have no idea why this wonderful video appeared in my feed but boy, it brought back a flood of memories. Alexander’s was my daddy’s favorite store. He passed away a few months ago. I can’t count the times he bought us Christmas gifts from there. He visited often. Thank you for showing the world how amazing they are and bringing back so many happy memories for me.

What a fun tour of a store I haven't been to in several years. When we moved to North Georgia 20 years ago, we saw it referred to as the Hillbilly Mall of Georgia, or similar nickname, by one of the regional magazines. It was already pretty big, and seemed like every time we visited they had added a new section. Can't believe how much it's grown since the last time we were there. So proud they carry y'all's cookbook ♥️

Golly, I wish we had a store around here like that. What caught my attention right away was how neat & clean all the displays were. Not all jumbled up & messed up like our stores these days. It indicates how respectful the shoppers are in your area where people put things back after they've looked at it instead of just dropping it down on the first shelf they find. I teared up when I saw your cookbook on the shelf. It was good to meet the owners of Alexander's. Wish I could visit that store.
My family found Alexander’s Store way back in 1973 when we used to camp every year at Trackrock Campground-owned by an Alexander brother. Wonderful memories of my childhood!!
I’ve taken my husband there a few times so he could experience it. He loves it! I always tell him how the store used to look when I was a kid. So much has changed, but it’s all wonderful! ❤️

Thx so much for this. I love looking at country stores and finding things that you didn't know you need... Lol. I just finished watching Corie and Austin walking with their precious boy in the woods checking cameras. Peaceful. ❤ And now... More peace. Its been a reall hard stressful week for me. I asked Corie to pray... But I'm not ashamed to ask you also. Please pray for my husband. He's a veteran and suffers from anxiety and ptsd.
