Hi Guys. We were delighted to watch this vid. We are in New Zealand and have a similar caravan. We often need a break from our place so we hook up and sometimes only travel 3.3 kms to a campsite on the same beach we live on. Thanks for sharing😊

Looks like a fab site. Good to see it and also remind us not to book grass pitch. I can’t be doing with peeps walking thru our pitch, kids playing footy near me and being parked next to tents (always seems that much noisier than vans). Hi Keith and Michele a lovely video as ever I don’t blame you going away and that’s the benefit of caravanning even a short distance from home it does the power of good! My parents always had statics and I miss those days though we have just had a lovely couple of weeks in Cornwall with Victoria my wife and our boys Joseph and Ollie

Keith, you mentioned people walking through your pitch, we used to go on the hard standing near the little lake, even over there kids used to ride through your pitch on their bikes. We had to erect a windbreak to close the thoroughfare. Nice site when we used to go in our caravan with our daughter and her boys in their caravan. Not now though i prefer a bit of tranquility.

Hi both. Henlow Bridge Lakes looks a really nice site. What a lovely bolt hole for weekends for you. You sound like us in not normally going to the same places. Having said that, we went back to Clayton CAMC before the school holidays. It was our 3rd visit. We stayed for 10 days and visited totally different places. It was a wonderful holiday and we would like to return again at some point as there are still places which we would like to explore from there. We too are grandparents so some of our caravan getaways are arranged around children and grandchildren. Really love watching you guys preparing meals and just enjoying the great outdoors and the atmospheres on sites as we do too. Kindest regards Amanda and Paul.👍💕

I've driven past that sight many times and did enquire there once about caravan storage. It was very interesting to see what it's actually like. Wrest Park is somewhere I know very well. Since English Heritage took it over they have improved the grounds a lot. It's well worth a visit.

Michelle! A woman after my own heart. I find a swing everywhere we go. Although some parks are only for children under a certain age. Definitely age discrimination!! You think I would get away with identifying as a 13 year old, just long enough for a wee burl on the swings 😂

The food looked lovely that was cooked, can't believe the evening meal and breakfast was for two 😋.
Your little bar area in the van would rival many pubs 😅.
As for Keith's question about roadworks its just the same in Yorkshire, we are convinced they do it on purpose at holiday time 😮.
Have you ever considered a canopy instead of an awning for the warmer weather ?.

Great site review both. I’m with Keith, you can guarantee my car will be the one the kids are playing ball near…puts me on edge, but agree sometimes the pitch etiquette isn’t always there, we had it at our stay at Whitemead in the Forest of Dean, our pitch tenters just walked on through. What drone do you have as I’m thinking of getting one for capturing the sites we go too on our holidays? Thanks for taking us away with you, your banter is great. Tris and Nikki 😀😀

It's great to have a couple of favourite sites within an hour from home, just for a last minute break.
Weve had two holidays spoilt by people in tents. I know it's a cheaper option for young families than a caravan and I probably sound like a right old misery but they don't seem to be aware of noise levels, and don't get me started on footballs!!!😂
Looked like a lovely weekend tho.
We've just returned from a very wet and windy week in Scotland, total washout, oh the joys of caravaning!😊❤

@@Cas.1964 very rude!! We are tenters have had bad behaviour from all sorts of campers, but wouldn’t label them. That’s offensive saying it’s a cheaper option. Our family is grown up we have gone back to camping, we also go in cottages and abroad. We are not camping because it is “cheap”!!! We could “afford” a caravan but prefer not to tow and like tenting.☹️

@@Cas.1964 so very true, I think we all have our gripes don’t we? Minority spoil it for the responsible not all kids run wild but some do, some dog owners are inconsiderate but not all. I am sure I will do something to upset someone😕but don’t mean to!! Camping of any kind is a joy and we need to make the most of it.

Hi Keith. After watching a past video we purchased an electric tepanyaki similar to yours. I can recommend "GoFriend BBQ Grill Mats, set of 5 £9.99". Makes tepanyaki clean up so much easier and you lose none of the grill flavour or effect. Well worth it. I was sceptical at first but now a convert!
