As a long distance viewer, I have really enjoyed your videos. Moving to a new community, far from old friends, my husband and I miss the interactive life we once had. We are near family which is wonderful, but no age peers. This is a long way of saying that your viewers care about you and understand your feelings. It's something you never really get over but I have wonderful memories and a wonderful daughter in law and a beautiful Granddaughter. I hope you manage to have a lovely holiday. X

Caroline your videos are great even though you are struggling with this shocking news you still gave your all during your vlog which I know you would be struggling through and obviously it’s such a very sad time for Faye and her family and you too as you’re all close. I have a good tip for dealing with mosquito bites. Put a metal spoon into some very hot water to heat it up. Then press the back of the spoon directly onto the mosquito bite. Be careful it will be very hot so don’t burn yourself but press it on the bite when the temperature is as hot as you can tolerate. Hold it therefore maybe five seconds and the bite will stop itching forever.

So sorry to hear about your loss. On another topic that you mentioned - mosquito bites - my son and granddaughter suffer badly when they get bitten and a good solution is to dab on a famous decongestant rub (I don't know if were allowed to mention the name), it cools down the sting and stops the itching. You can buy a small pocket mini size online.

Thanks for the tip of the week Caroline, I am going to do that. I have sooo many screen shots of quotes, possible tradesmen, receipts, book reviews and other interesting facts etc and now I won’t have to clutter my photo roll. I can’t tell you how happy this makes me!

Lovely vlog despite such tragic news Caroline. My deepest condolences to all that loved her. This happened to my best friend 18 years ago, 10 minutes after we had been chatting and she was absolutely fine and then just gone from a brain aneurysm. The shock and disbelief was terrible. On a somewhat frivolous note try ORLY breathable calcium boost for your split nail, I had the same problem for years and it worked a miracle! Sending much love ❤

Hi Caroline ,it is so sad when someone young dies before their parents ,my sister-in- law died the start of December last year she had a headache went for a nap and never woke up she was only 43 yrs old😢 she left behind my younger brother same age and six kids 2 of which are 6 and 7 yrs old it still breaks my heart today to think about them growing up without a mum 😢💔 p.s I got a £5 voucher for my bday too huni 😉👍😁

I’m also doing clutterbugs month of declutter, I have actually been doing it all summer, but honestly it feels so good to not have things hanging around which I hate but keep co I spent good money on them. Like you I’m not really working to her schedule but who cares as long as it gets done. Great tip about the screen shots, definitely going to do that. Sorry about your loss, as you say, a death out of the usual pattern of life is very shocking

A lovely video Caroline. I too have had sad news similar to yours. A young mum of 51 died of a sudden brain haemorrhage. I attended her funeral, which was really sad. I cannot not stop thinking about it. As you say, it is not the way that things are supposed to be.
On another note, you mentioned at the end of your video that your nails split vertically. Mine do too and it is the most annoying thing ever. As a result, my nails are not uniform. Some are filed very short but still catch on clothes, towels, bedding &c - you name it! I don’t mean to sound nasty, but I am relieved to hear that others suffer too. I thought it was just me. Hurray for you tube! Hope that you feel better as time goes by. x

Hello Caroline, So sorry to hear the sad news about your friends daughter. There just isn't enough words to express how devastating it would be to loose a child. Life can be so dreadfully unfair. Sending you some hugs and wishing you some peace and calm over the next few weeks.
We have a coat closet right by the front door here in the US, we also had one growing up in the UK - is that not common? I'm with Ashley, definitely on hangers! There are loads of very lightweight but warm down type coats around now - you should be able to find one for New York (which will be cold in November!). Loved the faux leather gilet - what does "looks a bit Nessa" mean - not familiar with that!

Hi Caroline, an awful lot of relatively young people seem to be dying these days. Two of my childhood friends, both mid 50s also died suddenly and ripped from life. Really shocking, don’t really know what’s happening.

Omg i have virtigo its the worse feeling you never know when its going to happen yes thats rite minute you get yr head off the pillow.hayfever tablets wiv certraline they help doctor says its the fluid in ya ears that makes us off balance xxx
I did lol at Ashley’s “nessa ” comment - you just need a black wig and a pair of fingerless gloves! I’ve recently started getting vertigo the last couple of years and found some head movements and exercises online which help to “ release” whatever is causing it - if you do get a bad bout - have a look - also sorry for your loss - it’s such a shock when it’s a younger person x
