I'm also a leather holster fan, I like the flex and give and the friction they provide with nylon belts.
I prefer OWB with a thumbreak for retention but that Tagua looks good.

My favorite owb revolver holster is a Tagua. Holds a Ruger SP101, LCR, LCRx, S&W 317, and S&W 640.
Fits them all perfectly and has snap retention.
I did'nt even have to carve the belt loops wider to fit my belt the way a lot of other holsters require.
    They are a good product.

Great video, Howard; I’ll head to the Tauga website next, since I’ve always disliked my Kydex CZ 75B holsters - despite their functionality - and Tauga may likely have some good (and reasonably priced) options. Like every other serious hand-gunner, I have literally dozens of holsters; if Tagus has soled the ancient dilemma of having a large garbage bag loaded with holsters, by having one design factually work with many autoloaders, then they should receive the Nobel Prize. Warmest regards.

Morning HR. Good review. This is the first time I've seen these holsters reviewed. I picked up two of their non adjustable paddle holsters years ago. One for a Sig P226 and the other for my CZs. They are well made with thick leather that holds it shape. The paddles hold securely and are easy to put on and take off. They have held up well over time.

H.R., I agree 100% on leather holsters. That is all I use. I found that Arizona Gun Leather Company made a holster for my CZ P-01 with a thumb break snap. (working on my ranch I am always climbing around on equipment, dealing with livestock, etc., so retention is a big MUST). I have tried the Kydex stuff but I am no fan. I also don't shove holsters down in my pants. Definitely cannot work like that. Maybe if I was fence rail thin? Maybe. Also, Arizona Gun Leather makes the belt loops big enough for a sturdy work belt to pass through well. Good video.

While they certainly look well made, they are way too bulky and thick for my liking. I have found the very best belt holsters, belts and magazine pouches on the market are Kramer Horse Hide Leather. They are custom made, light weight (Horse Hide is spectacular) thin and quite strong! The Horse Hide is NOT a "gimmick" and his goods stand up for decades and decades. I am NOT affiliated in any way with this firm, just recommending what I feel is the very best carry holsters and belts one can buy - anywhere at any price. HR,
Like you, I like leather holsters. The problem that I have is that I'm kind of a dinosaur when it comes to the guns I own. I looked at the Tagua website and was extremely disappointed to find that they don't make holsters for most of my guns. For example, I have 3 Berettas; a model 92, a model 84, and a model 70. Tagua only makes once for the 92, and I already have holsters for that one. I also have an Astra Constable .380 ACP, which is very similar to a Walther PPK, so there may be one there. The rest of my guns are all older models of one kind or another, and Tagua seems to only make holsters for new or modern handguns. I also thought that you didn't care for Glocks. Is that one left over from when you were in Law Enforcement?
    Cheers,
    Zeke

Thanks Zeke. That Glock 19 is my current issued duty handgun (and no, I don’t like it any better than any other Glock I’ve ever handled).
Tagua does make holsters for the Walther PPK. Some of their other holsters might work with your vintage pistols. As you saw, many of the handguns that fit the holsters in the video were not listed on the package. It might be worth a call (or email) to Tagua. Ask if they have any model(s) to fit your pistols.
