  • First official trip in the newly purchased Skyreach Bushcat. Having completed a solid 6hrs of conversion training with the team at Strike Aviation it was time to take the new bird for a fly away from base.
Being a non-local it was exciting to leave the nest for the first time and venture west to Kilcoy and then pop down to Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield. Both feature lovely long grass strips and all within a short flying distance of Caboolture.
The Bushcat performed well and gave me a chance to use the newly purchased ipad thingy and get a feel for the cruise performance.
Next trip is the big one - about 1000miles from QLD to TAS - hope to have a few cameras fitted and shoot a little documentary. Waiting for an interface to get the audio into the gopro as this has a different intercom.
The thruster will be back - in fact flying that tommorow possibly...
    Stay tuned for more!

When you call clear prop, it's meant to be heard outside the aircraft. Not for the radio or pax. otherwise not bad.

All were a bit long but smooth at least - Certainly will get better with more experience!
