Tasmanian pilots fly a newly purchased Skyreach Bushcat ultralight aircraft from Caboolture, QLD to the most southern state of Australia, Tasmania.
Crossing the outback, visiting towns and stopping at 3 aviation museums before crossing the famous Bass Strait via Flinders Island.
6 days, 20.1hrs of flying and lots of toilet stops...

"Australia to Tasmania". I love that bit. I never tell friends and family all over the world that I live in Australia, I always say Tasmania, and leave it to them to figure out. Just a quick note, the old Dehaviland Beaver is a great plane for getting large loads in and out of hard to reach places and they could easily stay in the air for many hours so the engineers installed a Venturi on the bottom of the fuselage hooked up to a tube with a small funnel at the other end and they called it a “Pilot Relief Tube” so the pilot would not have to land as often just to get relief!
