Great video, but where do you find the replacement part? I tried the Simonton Web-site, even registered and they only show contractors to replace or repair for you, no parts...

This is a job I cannot do. I have 2 things wrong with this window (out of 13 windows in my house). First the balance broke and I had to use wood to hold window open. Then the upper sash guard fell out. Simonton doesn't want to replace the window. They sent me here. I've already bent the window guide track. I guess I'm going to forget it and use wood to hold the window open. This is an inconvenience bc I have built a catio for my cats right outside this window, and now I have to deal with it when I let my cats out or in. I'm going to have to see if I can hire someone to fix it. Looks easy in the video but it isn't easy. Simonton would send a tech here but I'm afraid to ask how much they charge.
"Lifetime guaranteed" doesn't mean much if they don't make these replacement parts possible for the typical home owner to replace.
