    I have multiple 9mm pistols and the Walthet PPS M2 with the Shield RMSC checks all boxes for me. I carry 3 8 round mags with magguts +1. I loved it enough, i have bought a 2nd. For the price, features, and quality can't beat it.

      You can’t beat Walter quality. Thank you very much for watching!

    One of my first polymer framed strikers was a PPS M2. Fantastic little blaster, but a bit dated by the micro compacts made today. I'd agree with you that it's one of the softest shooting single stacks, but the softest shooting micro compact is the Shield plus.
    I just wish Walther would come out with an updated version with a 10/13 round magazine. It would be an awesome version to their line up. Maybe call it the PPM (police pistol micro)

      I too would love to see Walther update this pistol because with capacity on par with today’s market, it would be exceptional. Thank you very much for watching.

    Your review is thorough and you're good at sharing your experiences, pros and cons with this gun.
    Bought a PPS M2 LE in 2017. You nailed everything about this gun. Built like a little tank, slim, feature loaded and great ergos.
    The phosphoric front sight fell out twice but Walther sent replacements rather quickly. In December of 2018 sent the gun back to Walther for the drop safety issue.
    I thought the trigger was good but during dry firing it felt and sounded gritty. Had to figure out that dead trigger thing too.
    The gun is easy to conceal and carry. Overall a great carry gun but I just couldn't achieve consistent accuracy with it to justify keeping it. Sold it 2 months ago, for $80 more than I paid for it. (Today's prices!) 😉 Bought a Sig P365XL (half of it anyway) with my windfall.💰😁

    Very very well made and honest review. Especially the part of that drop safe issue that they had. Definetly a buy unlike Sig who just want to deny they have a safety issues with their pistols.

    Thanks for the review. Nice pistol. I have the PPQ. The first thought that came into my mind while viewing your shooting at the beginning of the video was ``that is a soft shooting gun'' !

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  3 года назад

      It sure is. I know it lacks capacity compared to what’s available in the market today, but boy it’s high-quality and easy to shoot. Thank you very much for watching.

    Interesting little gun. That cocking indicator shows that the PPS isn't 95-100% cocked, as many striker-fired pistols are.

      I’ve shot it quite a bit more since I filmed this video and I’ve grown to like it quite a bit. As always, thank you very much for taking the time to watch. God bless.

    Own one since it's initial release and the trigger has really smoothed out nicely. Ergonomic and my white dots did the exact same thing at the range. Pretty nice option overall but with all the new micro options not sure where this fits anymore. Nice review as usual. 👍

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  3 года назад +1

      I agree. For me, it’s one of those things where if this is the gun you shoot the best - then of course you carry it. Otherwise, there are much better options right now. We all need to keep in mind that this pistol was released sometime ago. Options were more limited back then. Always, thank you very much for watching.

    Great video. I recently purchased one but LE edition. I noticed yours is like mine with no proof marks or the antler markings on the slide except the barrel on yours does have proof markings and mine just says 9mm x19. I wonder what that is about.

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  2 года назад +1

      I haven’t been able to answer that question so I don’t know the reason for the lack of markings. I was hoping that perhaps a viewer could shed some light on it that. Thank you very much for your kind words and for taking the time to watch.

    • @HB-tf8id
      @HB-tf8id 2 года назад +1

      @@MDpolo thanks. I also sent an email to Walther and they just got back to me saying that the de2021 is the proof marks and inside the slide are the rest of markings which actually checks out on mine. They said all is correct.

    Nice looking Walther and the RMSc red dot is so clear a circle for me. My Walther CCP trigger was great. I wonder if I would still like it. I haven't shot it in such a long time.

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  3 года назад +2

      You know, the RMSc red dot is the most clear of any optic that I have tried. At least for my eyes. The other day I was looking through my red dots and I compared an RMR, Holosun 407 and Swampfox Sentinel vs the RMSc. To my eyes, the RMSc had the roundest and clearest dot. Thank you always for taking the time to watch. I appreciate it.

      @@MDpolo the RMSc has a perfect Cylinder drilled in the lucite or plastic. My Hi Power was going to MK3 Firearms and FedEx smashed the shroud almost 1/4inch. I don't think a RMR glass could have taken the smashing. MK3 pulled out the plastic and fixed it as a gift on the last visit.

    I bought a PPS M2 a few years ago as my EDC and I havent looked back
    At that time everyone was carrying pistols over 1 inch thick but I just couldnt do it and found it uncomfortable. After doing my research I found the PPS M2 being 1 inch or under thickness wise, good trigger, great ergos for me, and its Walther so I know its a good quality.
    It is still my favorite EDC and has been going strong. I did however have the same problem you did with the front sight dot coming off, but this was after many hundreds of rounds and many years of carrying/leaving it in my truck in the hot Arizona heat. I have since put on night sights.
    Shootability this one is one of the best single stack small CCW 9mms you can get I think. I dont know what makes such a difference but this one is one you can shoot all day, others, not so much.
    If I was to buy another one I would probably get the red dot version but even the baseline model is just fine too. As I always say, capacity is not everything

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  3 года назад

      I agree. As I said in the video, it is perhaps the softest shooting single stack 9 mm that I have tried. Thank you very much for watching.

    Will this red dot go on the M2 without the slide being milled?

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  Год назад

      I did not have the slide milled for an optic. Thank you very much for stopping by.

    • @Samyouell11510
      @Samyouell11510 Год назад

      No you’ll have to buy one that is milled from the factory or you’ll have to send it off to C&H precision and they have multiple options of footprints to choose from.
