@James Ransome Atun its canon, but AFAIK, its not in the novel either. Its just the author posted it on his website what happen to her sisters. @BrianxStephanie I think you missed something. So this is just reminder. The girl who they mention in the last scene was the Girl who died in Shalltear hand. The voice that Entoma got was her voice. I read the light novel years ago, so I a little forgot the missing scene. But yeah, there are more dark in the LN. O yeah, The NPC that appear in the last episode, her name was Neuronist Painkill. She supposed to be appear in the season 1 (LN Vol 1). If you remember, the villain in the episode 4 season 1, was alive and got torture by her for information.
@@Dragonmacher I forgot, I think its from social media or his website. After checking it, this is the trivia about her sisters "however, the author mentioned on his website that the two twins were sold into slavery and died of overwork."
If you mean the power of friendship in and of itself, then you're obviously correct, no intrinsic power to friendships. Demo, If you're friends with Ainz or with any friend of Ainz, you hold more power than the vast majority in the world.
If you wanna know what happens with the priest/paladin: Ainz is simply testing the concept of god. Either the spells of religious casters are some form of magic, or there is actually a higher entity behind it, which gives access to this kind of power. For his research, Ainz replaced the mans ideal of god...with a rock. He studies how the man madly worships this rock. Don't get me wrong: No Statue or anything impressive... Ainz literally picked up a friggin rock, hold it out to him and told him "This is your god now"
@@aiya5777 basically testing to see if the priest's powers are just magic spells or if there is actually a god that gives him his powers. Ainz changes his memories so that he now thinks that a rock off the ground is his god. If he can still cast his holy magic then his power is just spells, but if he can't cast anything anymore then his powers actually come from some kind of higher deity/god.
@@Panzer_Z umm, are there any gods in yggdrasil? what's ainz trying to achieve exactly? this is the first time I heard a logic like thiz; those who doesn't believe in god, they automatically can't use their magic. hmm I've never heard anything like it in stories or mythology
You maybe wanna know that in the Light Novel the two little sisters of arche from the ending were sold by there parents beacause they needet money and they died only a bit later from working as slaves.... Pretty dark.
@@SHODAN-TriOptimum No. about what happen to her sisters never mention in Light Novel. Its get mention by author in his website. Not in the light novel.
Opposite of what Brian was saying actually: Ainz was saying he doesn't believe he is the strongest one in the world, and from a risk management point of view that makes sense: you're at most risk when you genuinely believe you're safe and there's nothing that could go wrong/defeat you/whatever. He's just refusing to let his guard down is all. Saitama is just frustrated at being the strongest and /wants/ someone stronger to come along so he feels challenged for once.
at episode 7 even when workers enter the tomb ainz already show them up some gold and treasure, i mean even at that time he still give them chance to just take the gold and leave.
That's what I've been saying because everybody been saying that oh I'm the bad guy he killed the innocent one in foresight even though it was forced by to seal their fate once they stepped into the tomb because they let their greed take over sew in call honesty foursight we're just as guilty as the other adventurers guy finds handed them gold on Silver fuking platter
Its actually not that clear cut. Yes Ainz lured them there, but he told them it was a newly discovered ruin with no idea of what was inside it. For all they knew it would be a handful of skeletons and zombies like undead vermin. Then, yes he left riches outside the tomb. But thats a double edged sword. Now the workers KNOW there is profit to be had, and they still dont know the tomb is inhabited by intelligent life. He did give them opportunities to back off, he did question them briefly on their motivation, but from their side of things, with the info they had, there was literally no reason not to go. Had they been told, "The tomb is controlled by a vastly powerful being with beyond human intellect and his incredibly powerful minions" they probably wouldnt have gone. Had someone met them at the door and been like, "Yo, this is our home, why are you trying to bust in like this?" It likely would have caused some of them to back off. But he didnt. he lured them in with a scenario designed to make them rich, got offended at the idea of them wanting to be rich. And called them thieves for stealing from someone they didnt even know existed until they got wiped out. All of that said, the main thing to keep in mind is, ainz is dedicated to protecting HIS people. Was the emperor evil for enriching his empire at the expense of the kingdom? As obi wan might say, "Perhaps from a certain point of view" But from the point of view of nazarick, ainz is their hero and their god, who is devoted to protecting them and helping them grow stronger. Whats evil about that? he did this to test the adventurers as groups against his defenses to make sure they could easily withstand an attack without wasting tons of gold. He did this as his opening gambit to spreading the influence of his people. If you are on the side of the works or the empire it was absolutely evil. But on his side it was good. He made his people stronger, got them food, more information on how the world works, etc etc etc. And all it took was capturing a dozen people willing to try to rob his home on the slightest pretext.
@@bryanbridges2987 They clearly saw it was being maintained from the first floor being spotlessly clean. Treasures were left there so if they wanted they could take it and leave, but the greed was their death.
That's the problem with watching and sub I've been looking at that translation and it's not exactly correct. Like we're talking about tonality wording and everything phrases. I feel like the sub translation is rushed
@@brettpalma797 thats a common problem with translation, The amateurs translators often take literal sentences without knowing what the character really means.
I respect the way Ainz went and I like how they have done this anime. Ainz is the most amazing MC of any anime. Cause it feels like real life in a way, the good guys don't always win. Still nice video kudos.
Same. Sometimes I root for the bad guys cause the good guys are almost always clichéd or too overpowered or have no real character. To me at least,it's good seeing a character who is not just simply a good guy and does what he wants for his own sake.
Ainz isn’t bad he’s more of a good character honestly he minds his own business and helps out the weak everyone’s depicting him as bad just because he got rid of human thieves and we’re supposed to feel remorse for our kind but if the main character was human and killed undead thieves we couldn’t care less about them.
@@tendatonda1634 Pretty sure they were baited, I assumed for testing at first. For example the arena, if I recall (read) correctly Cocytus was watching Ainz fight. Also it gave probable cause for the creation of their country for world domination.
@@SilverCrow0101 you can not ever unknow it either. If it's any consultation I know real world things that take place that make this seem like child's play. This world is a dark place....
No spoilers, but notes to think about. The episode has as its main intention to show us how Ainz isnt all too merciful like with the Lizardmen. Ainz got angry for two reasons... One- Foresight tried lying to him to get out and two- they raided Naserik when as Momon clearly warned them that they would lose their lives. Some people debate that if Touch Me was there maybe foresight might had been the only ones to live for the very reason that they are looking for money for something noble. If Ainz would had control his emotions a bit better and listened to their reasons... maybe.. just maybe... he would had left Archie survive but left the other 3 in Naserik. Thinking about what Ainz interests are- Hekkeran IS a worker that knew various Martial arts, Imina a Half- Elf warrior who could help aura and mare, Roberdick a half priest with holy magic and Archie a human capable of seeing the level of Tiers of others. All 4 had something that Ainz would like to have in his side. This episode does leave you with an emotion of regret and anger since you clearly want Ainz to be merciful to foresight but instead are reminded that he is an overlord and must be an evil lord so others humans dont repeat this act again. In other notes- it was stated that the writer had full intentions of letting Archie live or become Shalltears subordinate, but asked his readers what fate was more better... clearly you know the fanbase chose differently. Also... many readers and viewers dropped the series here because of how Ainz acts... this the reason why so many people constantly remind reactors to keep in mind that Ainz is not as warmhearted as he portrays sometimes and not get upset once they reach this part. Like you mentioned in your reaction- yes its different seeing a series were the main character is the evil one, but it makes this series so different than others because it makes you want to cheer for the others not only the main characters. It makes you be happy with victories like with the Lizardmen, and love moments like with Sebas and Tuare much more and enjoy scenes like when the main characters are goofing of and enjoying time like in the first ep of this season >w>/ Great reactions ans like always, good job keeping up with the series. I love Overlord so much and it makes me enjoy reactions like yours to it. Keep up the good work!
if u read the ln, ainz didn't really want to torture em for eternity at all. ainz kinda being forced to do that, thanks to his position as nazarick ruler
Ainz is still a human that knows he is in a game world turned real. Also, people got pissed because he was cold, and calculating but not overly sadistic about how he dealt with those he defeated. This episode completely turned that on its head. And as we all know, most anime watchers haven't read the mangas or light novels they are based on, if any.
From what I heard, the vote for Arche's fate happened in the web novel, where the author wanted her to die, but due to the votes she instead became Shalltear's slave. I believe the author regretted letting her live, and corrected that in the move to Light Novel, where now she dies for real; with her body being divided up so thoroughly that there is no hope for resurrection.
Hekkeran(Foresight leader) made their entire situation worse by not only lying straight to Ainz, but bringing his friends into the lie. It's tantamount to both insulting his intelligence, because no guild member would *ever* allow outsiders into Nazarick, and suggesting that one of his friends_was_ also in the New World, and then taking that possibility away. There are innocent people who have been on the receiving end of Nazarick, but none of these Workers fall into that category. The situation with Arche's twin sisters sucks, but that's just life in this world. Ainz Ooal Gown didn't put Arche's family in debt. He didn't make her ridiculous parents keep spending money until they couldn't keep up. Everyone made their choice and their actions have consequences.
remember guys that Ainz picked up the lie when forsight dude says that the guy that gave him permission called Ainz not Momonga. His guildies knew him as Momonga
@@TheSorakiba Only people who have permanent residency or extreme value. Only a number : Lizardmen, Tsuare, Enri and the other two temporarily, and Jircniv temporarily, both with limited viewing.
All of that would be true, if he hadn't been the one to lure the adventurers there in the first place. Ainz knowingly drew those people into his home. *That* is where he loses all moral high ground in this situation.
😂😂yeah, and also it is to cover up his weakness to fire, there are workaround this immunity but it gives enough protection that ainz includes it in his equipment Nd also it works since he is roleplaying.
If Foresight was truthful and respectful, and explained their motivations to coming they may have actually lived. But that's viewer knowledge bias. Momon asks their purpose, and even exclaims when they all commit to entering the tomb fully. He was open to giving some people a chance, but many of them were doomed to begin with as scapegoats to allow the forced antagonism between them and the Empire.
Just as a by the by, the reason why the worker's story fell apart is because Ainz was known as Momonga back in Ygddrasil. Becuase Heckam told Ainz that their friend (who would only know Ainz as Momonga) told them to "send *Ainz* their regards", Ainz confirmed his suspicions of them lying to him about the people dearest to him (whom he has been searching for this whole time)
Also, Nazarick was especially exclusive about who they allowed to join them. No guild member would let an outsider into Nazarick. Hekkeran's lie wouldn't have worked from the start.
@@SnowyWolborg True, but it is conceivable that, being in the new world, they would send the workers as messengers. Plus if nothing else, the thing about the name was the final straw.
Death is Mercy. What happened to 8 fingers ? Those members were eaten inside out by cockroaches then healed then re-eaten then re-healed. That was evil and they did not get released by death.
Well, anyone who trespasses into his home is considered his enemies so he is fighting exactly what you guys said he should be fighting. Ha HA! um. Let's start with the twin sisters. They get sold into slavery and die from overwork in a brothel the same way Tsuare would have died if Sebas had not saved her. Entoma is using Arche's vocal cords for her new voice, so that's whose voice you are hearing at the end of the episode. Just like with One Punch Man, Ainz and Nazarick are so strong that the problems they face are different than what a "good" main character would face. Ainz isn't exactly evil, he just has tools and subordinates that don't value human life any higher than livestock. I love the fact that the whole story is basically him trying to be both himself and an evil overlord and there are some funny situations that occur because of it.
Side Note: in light novel Arche sisters sold as slave by his father and died from overwork but in web novel Shalltear made Arche her sex slave and later Lord ainz brought Arche sisters to Nazarick and they all started living in 6th floor with Shalltear.(*as a slave of course) and about those three Slave Elfs. they were sended to Aura as her servant so now they are living happy life.
Also, Demi want's a harem for Mare, so that Nazarick could have more manpower in the future XD, so literally Demi is planning a foursome for those 3 elf girls and Mare, who is also a dark elf, in the future
@@LibeliumDragonfly i see no problem with that and they can also upload Uncensored version in HH for educational purposes. (*heavy breathing...haaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ) 🤤🤤🤤
For those that think Ainz is just becoming evil, I think you misunderstand his character. You have to look at his priorities, motivation, and situation. When he got stuck in this game-like world, he decided to give up trying to go back to his original human life. Therefore, he'll do his best to play the role of his game character, which is a lawful undead Overlord (which is a type of undead). Furthermore, he discovers that his strong emotional feelings get suppressed (shown as a green glow in the anime). It seems to affect his regard to killing humans as well, as he noted in his first action in this world when he killed the knight to save Enri and her sister. So intellectually, he understands killing people isn't morally good, but that feeling gets dampened. Satoru (Ainz's real human name) didn't have any family or friends... The strongest connection he had were to his guild members. And since most of them had quit before the shutdown of the server, he is as lonely as hell. Now that he is stuck, he dedicates himself to honor the memory of his former comrades. But since his guild members are not present, he wants to honor them by making sure their creations, the NPCs (guardians and maids), are happy. They look up to them as their God, he regards them as beloved children, and he doesn't want to disappoint them. As they are heteromorphs, and many of them aligned toward the evil end of the spectrum, he has to act like he shares their disregard of humans, who are basically like insects in power level. In many instances, he disuaded them from unnecessary killing or torture. Those that he interacted with, that treated him with honor or kindness, he treated likewise, such as with Gasef and Tsuare Ninya (repaying the "debt" he felt toward her younger sister who provided him with a lot of info when he teamed up with their group as Momon). On the other hand, if he feels anyone is slighting Nazarick, his NPCs, or his guild members, he will feel intense anger and show no mercy, as he did with Foresight and the other Workers that invaded Nazarick. (Yet he showed mercy to Arche, giving her a painless death.) Everything being said, perhaps he is slowly getting more desensitized about killing humans. Light novel readers know it nags the back of his mind, but in his undead body, those feelings don't really bother him much. In summary, Ainz is stuck in a role of playing an evil undead ruler, trying to live up to the expectations of his doting followers. At the same time, something magical is suppressing his human feelings. And his actions are mainly to benefit the welfare of Nazarick and its inhabitants. If he has to kill thousands of humans in one fell swoop, then so be it. And I think inside, he really is a sweet guy.
There was a smaller change in expression then i had predicted when the scene with the sisters came up but i could still feel that youre mood was going down alot. Furthermore the group of the 4 workers that fought ainz also did it for money but they where just not that greedy as the other workers. They did it mostly because the mage girl really needed more money to help her little sisters so they accepted the job to help her more then because of there own greed. And last but not least i don't know if you picked up on this but entoma took the voice of the mage girl that's why albedo asked ainz if entoma's new voice didn't annoy ainz.
Since Arche didn't come back with money, her little sisters are actually sold to slavery by their own parents so they can pay their debts and remain nobles. The sisters end up dying many years later due to extreme abuse and exhaustion. Arche was actually really strong. She was the emperor's Wizard favorite disciple and he believed she could surpass him (and he's OP as hell), but she had to leave her studies because of her family's problems. Also, Ainz was fighting with sword and shield initially because he wants to see if he can get levels in another class (Warrior) to increase his power. In the novel, Cocytus is also there in there in the Arena to review his fight (like the Lizardmen with Hamusuke). That chain necklace he and the Lizardmen are using are items that boost EXP gain. The priest warrior ends up insane and the couple becomes a nesting room, and like the cockroaches, they keep getting healed whenever they "die" from it. The elf girls in the Hamusuke fight are being taken care of by Mare and Aura and are the only ones that Ainz allowed to live.
Just to make your day a bit brighter, Imina and Hekkeran were sent to Gashukokuchuuou afterwards, where their bodies were infested with tapeworms feeding on their organs and regenerating them repeatedly for eternity, as for Rober. Well as Ainz said he wanted to experiment on him basically rewriting his memories over and over, and what is left of him is now a husk of man driven mad not even knowing why. So it's pretty safe to say that Arche got off pretty easily.
Hate to say it if I was part of the clan and stuck around long enough to be stuck in this world. I would at this point kill my old guild mate. Because he lost his humanity, he just a cowardly loser now who picks on people weaker than him.
@@Darkphoenix3450 He lost his humanity because he was forced to take on his racial traits as an undead. Some of his old guild mates had worse morals even when it was a game. I really doubt many of them would oppose him except for maybe Touch Me. But even at that point it wouldn't matter. The only reason he does any of this at all is because he wants to find his old friends if they exist in this world. If they were around he wouldn't be doing all of this.
Ainz let them have all the gold they found in the mausoleums, but they were too greedy so that’s why he implemented so much torture. There was no other reason for the workers to be there, They were just after money. Ainz knew they were lying because the worker said “Give Ainz my regard” when anyone who knew him would call him Momonga.
Yeah these adveturers came to his home to steal and kill. Good thing Ainz didn't show mercy. That's like some people going to your house to steal and kill and then just say "sorry can you just let us go". If Ainz was weaker they would've definitely killed him and continued looking and stealing treasures.
@@TOONZ1998 Still not an excuse. Ainz would only be morally justified if he had A: Not lured the heroes there in the first place, and B: Made it clear that the tomb was occupied by a non-hostile intelligent entity that didn't want the heroes there. IE: Given clearer warning about the consequences of entering the tomb uninvited. He did neither of those things, and as a point of fact, his guards murdered the one group that *was* on its way out to look for another possible entrance. Further, those that Ainz captured were subjected to cruel and horrifying punishments that far out-scaled the damage or harm they had done. Ainz is just plain evil. He's an interesting character, sure, but there's literally no moral excuse for his actions.
Posiible spoiler The thing is that Ainz hasn't completely internalise that the world isn't a game. That is implied in the LN but is never touched on the anime.
dominic carpouron but literally all of them are gone. It’s sad for him but when his world conquering finishes he would have to face the fact that his friends are all gone. 🤷♀️

@@remliqa In the LN they knew it was ocupied. Here is the actual text from the LN. Heavy Masher’s leader Gringam slowly approached the mausoleum, and his eyes went wide. That was because the mausoleum was grander than he had imagined. While it was one of the smaller directional mausoleums, that was only in comparison to the huge central mausoleum. At a closer look, the structure was so impressive that its incredible grandeur made the breath catch in his throat. The white stone walls gleamed like they had been planed flat. Many years should have passed since it had been built, yet there was no trace of weathering or stains from the wind and the rain. A massive steel door stood atop a flight of three steps made from single slabs of rock. The door itself was polished and free of rust, and glinted with a dark, metallic light. Just seeing this structure was enough to tell them how well it had been maintained. -In other words, the tomb was definitely occupied.
in the novels is more detailed and hinted that if the answer of the workers was something other than money ainz would had considered sparing them, even the gold filled tombs were like saying "you want money?, fine! take as much as your dirty hands can and gtfo from here", also hekkeran trying to bluff ainz was the last nail on the coffin for them, since s1 it has been a common theme that, disrespect ainz, you dead, disrespect nazarick, you way ded the most painfull way, disrespect ainz' friends and every second of the rest of your life you'll wish you were dead
@@jasminguiza6227 lesson 2: be polite with everybody that lives, or has lived, at nazarick. twice as much if you are in front of Ainz, Albedo or Demiurge.
During that moment when Ainz was mad at foresight members for lying, Albedo was actually feeling sad for Ainz and she was mad at the other supreme beings for leaving her beloved lord behind. So that's why she was making that face.
This is what happened to the sisters: after the parents were out of money, they sold the sisters to be slaves. Where they overworked and died. Really messed up
To be fair, this is what any war or conflict is like. Even in real life, we always tend to only see one side's view of things and divide them into heroes and villains, but the truth is that there's always people on both sides who get caught up in things either justifiably or otherwise. You don't necessarily condone nor condemn their actions, but you can at least comprehend how they came to them. One thing Overlord does really well is presenting flawed, grounded characters on both sides that are relateable like that.
If someone comes into your house to try and steal something ... killing them brutally isn't seen as ok usually. This really can't be compared to a war, especially since he was the one who led them there is essentially tricked them into going there.
2 things: 1) Ainz IS an Overlord, thats his class/race 2) Ainz Fundimentally doesnt believe that he is the only player in the New World, at least at this point in time.
To be honest, Ainz wasn't cruel at all. Because it is very normal to do everything possible to protect yourself and your family. People steal things for their families. Ainz also killed them for Nazarick ,it fair
hes not evil they are given a choice before going to the nazarick they even put tons of gold yet they are greedy so its natural for that and he cant be soft to hes vassals
So if you didn't know, all the of the gears Ainz has is enchanted with something, for an example, his ring which suppress his presence. He has more rings but they mostly are nullification enchantments or power ups.
As a light novel reader, I would say "Overlord" is a depiction of cruelty. In real world it happens and you cannot escape the fact that in modern world, 21st century, this kind of treatment still existing. We don't know because they are in the shadows. Example One country in the North and one country near the equator. That's why I love this anime series. It talks how humans losing humanity in that World. "the two little sisters of Arche from the ending were sold by there parents because they needed money and they died only a bit later from working as slaves"
This was the Romeo and Juliet ending. A tragic end of "what could have been" as the rest of the world marches forward regardless of what has been lost.
I just wanna say evil is perspective here. His home was attacked by a large force that intended to pilfer and kill all that him and his friends created, which has been given new life and meaning. Ains took care of four himself and made sure all the deaths actually meant something instead of mindless slaughter. If some broke into your house, would you talk to them or make a reason for no repeats.
well, Ainz manipulated the emperor into sending these people into the tomb, so he would hava a "legit" reason to become public and establish a country of his own, if he wanted to, not a single soul in the NW would have known about nazarick ever.

@@roguejacket i know that what he did so far in the anime can be somewhat justified as "necesary" for the greater good, therefore he can still be classified as "antihero" in the point where the anime ended, and let me tell you, he still does show certain level of humanity and sympaty towards the darven (despite the fact that one of them is a total douche to him), but make no mistake, later on he will do terrible things to innocent people, just to profit from it. If he is not a villian in the anime, he WILL become a full monster in the future. That and he is building a force to deal with a group who can turn one of his most loyal subjects against him.
in D&D u can become divine power if people are praying to you , and there is a story about a dragon who tricked humankind to pray to him as a god so he became one of the most powerfull dragons at all.
The fight mechanices where taken from D&D which is basically the same for any MMORPG EQ2 or WoW. Take any level 100 character and face it off with a level 1 to 30 (which is what I suspect most of the characters save but a few that are 50 on up to about either 80 or 90) would not even be able to tickle a level 100 character. 80's and 90's could. but as far as foresight went, they where very low level compared so the fight was definitely not in their favor at all.
Those Who Think This Is Going To Be Your Typical Anime In Which Everything Is Going To Be Well And Good Then Please Leave This Anime It Is Not For You Reality Is Always Harsh Then Your Imagination
in the first season it seems decent but as the story goes, he is progressing to become a villain of the story, it's like he is saving some in season 1 then killing lots in season 3.
I mean when i watched the first episode, i already knew that he will bring dark and terror in his world. So for now, he is still searching for other enemies that has the same power as him. There might be and that's what real fight comes when it happens.
Ainz and Demi gets even worst when they tried to conquer The Holy Kingdom. Demi urge's was so brutal to the holy queen it will get stuck to your brain....She got used as a club to hit people
Ainz got angry (at the beginning of the episode) because the description the thieves gave him the description of Touch Me but the mistake they made was that Touch Me will call him Momonga not "Ainz" because Ainz wasn't called Ainz in Ygdrassil. Those girls at the end of episodes were sold to slavery and basically had the same experience Tuare had and died due to the slavery.
no wonder ainz got mad, these poor thieves tried to lie in the name of dont Touch Me - senpai of all ppl. what one hell of an unfortunate coincidence lol
Love the cloud of happiness people created when they started watching Overlord From episode 1 of season 1 They hinted that Ains and the guardian didn’t give a fuk about humans that much Same reason 90% of humanity does not care about ants dying Not only that But they hinted dark stuff in season 1 2 and 3 But if course it took 1 episode of them actually showing dark stuff to people be like “Ains is no hero?? No gonna continue watching it”
If I remember right the author himself actually made a straw poll if fans want Arche to live or die. Surprisingly (at least for me) they deciced to kill her :D also in the web novel version SPOILER FOR WB AHEAD====================> She actually lived under a condition of becoming shalltears sex slave. After that she reunited with her sisters and they were all allowed to live in nazarick... btw the elven slaves in the previous episode were spared since they didnt come into nazarick out of their free will (right now working under the dark elf twins)
When people finally realized we were following the bad guys. They were fine when the innocent lizard men, but when it was sketchy humans who had back stories suddenly it’s not okay.
so, the one defending his own home is evil and the trespasers are good? interesting concept. could you give me your address so I can get some extra funds for my next project?

Saitama has nothing to lose, while Ainz is shouldering the whole Nazarick. There's a difference.
A great perspective in a battle is to always believe your enemy has something better than you or an advantage.
at episode 7 even when workers enter the tomb ainz already show them up some gold and treasure, i mean even at that time he still give them chance to just take the gold and leave.
They were sent there to investigate so...

It makes you be happy with victories like with the Lizardmen, and love moments like with Sebas and Tuare much more and enjoy scenes like when the main characters are goofing of and enjoying time like in the first ep of this season >w>/
Great reactions ans like always, good job keeping up with the series. I love Overlord so much and it makes me enjoy reactions like yours to it. Keep up the good work!

@@arandomplayer1734 yep
if u read the ln, ainz didn't really want to torture em for eternity at all.
ainz kinda being forced to do that, thanks to his position as nazarick ruler

(Yet he showed mercy to Arche, giving her a painless death.)
Everything being said, perhaps he is slowly getting more desensitized about killing humans.
I don't know why people ever thought he was good. He's a big skeleton man that does't feel emotions and states that himself regularly.
Ainz is evil
There was a smaller change in expression then i had predicted when the scene with the sisters came up but i could still feel that youre mood was going down alot. Furthermore the group of the 4 workers that fought ainz also did it for money but they where just not that greedy as the other workers. They did it mostly because the mage girl really needed more money to help her little sisters so they accepted the job to help her more then because of there own greed. And last but not least i don't know if you picked up on this but entoma took the voice of the mage girl that's why albedo asked ainz if entoma's new voice didn't annoy ainz.
Other animes: we will win with the power of friendship
Overlord: are you sure about that?
I've always have goosebumps when I watch this anime cuz it's too good.
5:25 she can’t even take it 😂
Since Arche didn't come back with money, her little sisters are actually sold to slavery by their own parents so they can pay their debts and remain nobles.
"I fundamentally do not believe that I am the chosen one in this world"

Ainz lured them there though. He's responsible for those adventurers being in his home in the first place.
Yes but Ainz left gold in the surface so they can turn back but because there’re greed they went inside to steal more
@@TOONZ1998 Still not an excuse.

The reason why he's pissed because they tried lying using his comrade name, if they just fight him straight on he won't be as angry like that...
hes not evil they are given a choice before going to the nazarick they even put tons of gold yet they are greedy so its natural for that and he cant be soft to hes vassals
for nazarick everything will be fine
This entire season was just
"Hey, in case you didn't know, Ainz is the villain."
I heard that her little sisters actually got sold into slavery and died from overwork in the LN.
The Green thing is making him Relax.
i think u guys didn't noticed it but Entoma is using Arche's vocal cords for her new voice
Where's the pesticide?
You guys are such legends, much love from the UK.
THANKS TO YOUR OVERLORD VIDEOS you get this subscriber
This was the Romeo and Juliet ending. A tragic end of "what could have been" as the rest of the world marches forward regardless of what has been lost.
Whose are watching this on 2021 is legend
Man this is what happens when u mess with the one who has -500 karma as his status
@@alphagonomegarius5068 true, but fact is, they would have been discovered eventually and invaded. Better to get it out of the way. He does it very dark, but what he does can be seen as in betterment for the region. With the overkill display he did on a large army, singlehandedly, no one will question what he does as he studies and prepares the regions for who ever is out there that poses a threat while simultaneously upping relations and economy. Think what he did around and for his village outside nazarik
By the way, although i consider Ainz a full villain, i don't hate him (quite the contrary) i love evil Ainz and i want him to conquer the world and become the supreme ruler of NW
@@alphagonomegarius5068 true and I hope you weren't spoiling from the light novel. I want to find out how I can right now, which has the anime outpacing the manga. I dont think I will hate him. And if I were to justify him right now, under his rule could prosper since he has shown compassion/companionship with people even as he is being cut off from emotions. That and he is building a force to deal with a group who can turn one of his most loyal subjects against him.
@@roguejacket don't worry nothing of great importance to the story was spoiled there, i tried to be as vage as possible.
you don't lie to ainz, especially if he's already angry.
meanwhile at the legion of doom, I mean the great tomb of Nazarick the monster were respecting the dead
btw the little sisters were sold by their father as slaves, they didn't include that in the anime, but its there in the light novel
I loved the moment when they all died. SASUGA AINZ-SAMA
13:11 Well, that is just how the real overlord would do 😂
in D&D u can become divine power if people are praying to you , and there is a story about a dragon who tricked humankind to pray to him as a god so he became one of the most powerfull dragons at all.
EVERYBODY forgets its underground. So did i lol
By the way Rober that guy who asked "i would like to ask one question" got his memories change so he thinks his god is rock Ainz found.
If anything. If the guardians didn’t see Ainz get mad. It would only disappoint them. Because this rage shows how much he cares.
Those Who Think This Is Going To Be Your Typical Anime In Which Everything Is Going To Be Well And Good Then Please Leave This Anime It Is Not For You Reality Is Always Harsh Then Your Imagination
You don't mess with Nazarick, Nazarick mess you up.
Let's go to the ominous tomb, they said. It would be fun and free money they said. - Arche, now dead leaving her little sisters behind
in the first season it seems decent but as the story goes, he is progressing to become a villain of the story, it's like he is saving some in season 1 then killing lots in season 3.
I mean when i watched the first episode, i already knew that he will bring dark and terror in his world. So for now, he is still searching for other enemies that has the same power as him. There might be and that's what real fight comes when it happens.
He was always evil, it's just more blatant now.
@@enricomartinelli9159 Your bored thats all thats more "blatant now"😂
3:00 - Ainz wanted "Momonga" instead of his new name
Ainz and Demi gets even worst when they tried to conquer The Holy Kingdom. Demi urge's was so brutal to the holy queen it will get stuck to your brain....She got used as a club to hit people
Not only did ainz test them as momon but he also gave them alot of gold out to just take and leave but they were too greedy.
In the novel shalltear scares her to death she didn't even suck her blood because he said "no pain"
In the web novel she becomes Shalltears sexslave.
Guys your reaction video of Ainz vs shalltear isn’t available to watch anymore :(
Love the cloud of happiness people created when they started watching Overlord
From episode 1 of season 1
They hinted that Ains and the guardian didn’t give a fuk about humans that much
Same reason 90% of humanity does not care about ants dying
Not only that
But they hinted dark stuff in season 1 2 and 3
But if course it took 1 episode of them actually showing dark stuff to people be like
“Ains is no hero?? No gonna continue watching it”
i heard that in LN the end of the twin sisters was worse than their big sister, they got sold to slavery - sex slaves- and die from overuse and beaten
Well Ainz once said return kindness for kindness evil for evil
Somewhere in video I saw that those two sister later died as a result of slavery which was not shown in anime.
3:00 is the exact moment that Suzuki stopped pretending to be Ainz
Oh believe me, that's just the start of it.
That shirt you have is an item among world items
When people finally realized we were following the bad guys. They were fine when the innocent lizard men, but when it was sketchy humans who had back stories suddenly it’s not okay.
Wow, this episode like watching a horror movie with the ending that the MC died in the end of the story.
In the web novel Arche is given to Shaltear as her sex slave by Ainz but then later taken back and given a sanctuary space to live with her sisters.
The little girls at the end of the episode they are later sold into slavery by their parents and eventually die of exhaustion
This is the episode that proved who is the main villian here... Lord Ainz and his guardians!!! Don't forget that guys and there will be more!!!
so, the one defending his own home is evil and the trespasers are good?
interesting concept. could you give me your address so I can get some extra funds for my next project?
@WilliamWizer 😂
