Amazing the see this story here. I live next door to his parents in La Puente when I was 5. They were the nicest people and told us how Froggy died. They treated my older sister, younger brother, and me very well.
The best Froggy ep is "Surprised Parties" where Froggy booby-traps the Gang's party not realizing it's a suprise party for *him* and then attends the party in drag to watch the mayhem, then has to set all the traps on himself once he realizes his error. "Puddin' Tane - ask me again and I'll tell you the same!"
I liked him as a child. I'm creeped out by him now and that MGM series isn't any close to watchable today. In fact the last couple of years with Roach was barely tolerable.
This is so sad to learn. I knew of the losses of some of the others, but Froggy died so tragically trying to live a normal life away from acting. Only 16! That’s just too young!
