Dude went from not owning money on his car to admitting he was 13 days late with his payment and still thinks he is in the right
Repo guy looked pretty chill, didn’t get mad, explained what he was doing and even tried to help y’all out, pretty cool dude compared to what I’ve experienced.
Dude states "I'll decide when to pay them" and "they're trying to strong arm me into paying on their schedule" when in reality, they're just trying to get you to pay when you agreed to pay to begin with. Then states he has plenty of money while also admitting that he pays late, all the time, and has a lambo through them that he hasn't paid for. He closes his bank account that was used for auto-pay when he leased these cars, which is probably why he closed it, and hasn't made an on-time payment since. This was 100% self inflicted and the leasing was absolutely in the right to repo the car.

Repo guy did a hell of a job, kept calm and even stayed longer to help asking his office why the car was being repossessed. Hats off to him

Massive respect to Dave for diffusing an intense situation and plugging a sponsor (Celsius) at the same time.
So he didn't want autodraft, and admitted to making his payments late. That is why your car was towed.
So, the moral of this story is " Pay your bills on time and not when you feel like it". Got it!
This guy is living way beyond his means. He blames everyone else for his issues. His story constantly changed throughout the video.
For those confused as to why they can take the Porsche. If his lease was an "Equity" type Lease, it means he uses other valuable items he has as collateral for his lease to make sure they aren't out a ton of money if he defaults. So in theory they can take the Porsche if he used it as collateral for the Lambo. The question would be, how late do you have to be with their leases to be considered default on the payment to get the repo man rolling? They may have a lease that says 5 days late, we can come take a car or take the collateral you put up. For those who are criminals out there. To get a Bond you need collateral to cover the full bond before you can get it...its so the bonds man can take possession of your say vehicle if you don't show up to court and skip town. This way the bond company isn't out of money if you are a no show for court.

Hopefully this is Garrett's medium-hard lesson in paying your damn car payment on time. Like dude, I wouldn't be surprised if this also screws with his reputation with people. "Look, it's on time!" "It's only 13 days late!", that doesn't give much confidence in you.
