I own a 2008 Acura TL with FACTORY CLEAR fog lights built into my bumper with factory light bulbs, I believe they are 55 watts each side. A cop told me he's writing me a ticket for driving at him with my high beams AND my fog lights pointed at him.
I told him, I will fight this charge in court and make him look like a liar because 2008 Acura TL cars come from the factory UNABLE to run both high beams AND fog lights at the same time. As soon as you click your high beams on, the fog lights turn off.
I told him that not only do I have a 300 dollar dashcam running inside my car, but the dashcam also recorded YOUR VOICE telling me that you pulled me over for fog light AND high beams … I told him to make sure he uses deodorant on court day, because you will be sweating bullets on the stand.
I got a letter a week later saying my citation is now void, based on a conversation that the Halifax Police Department had with the Manager of Atlantic Acura, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Hmmm sounds a lot to me like “I pulled you over because I felt like it”

I got rid of my 911. It was the slowest car I ever owned (except for a few times we won't talk about) because I absolutely had to go at the posted speed limit. I got a ticket once for rolling through a stop sign at 2mph. I had almost stopped but not quite stopped. You say you get pulled over every time. Too much hassle for my taste, but good for you if you are willing to tolerate it!

I'd file a complaint. You have at least three erroneous reasons for him pulling you over and not a single one of them actually calls for that action of him detaining you. He's probably another one of those jealous haters and this was his chance to exert his authority over you and your money. Once he noticed you were filming his whole attitude and demeanor changed and like you said he went and followed his own rules finally. So he sets a perfect example that the rules don't apply to him and he's got power over you! I definitely would file a complaint.
The driver was not 'detained'. It was a traffic stop where the rules are slightly different.

I know this isn't a supercar, but back in the '70s, my family had a 1966 Rambler Marlin. One night coming home, my father and I got caught short, so pulled over on a side road to relieve ourselves. Of course, a cop came along and pulled over. We figured we were screwed for lewdness or something, but he just wanted to look at the car; he hadn't seen one before. lol
If everyone handled traffic stops like this, there'd be so many fewer problems. If I get pulled over, which has only happened a handful of times in 66 years, I have my license, insurance and registration ready when they get to the window, whether I know why I'm pulled over or not. I've gotten all warnings except for one speeding ticket and a call to the safety inspection station, partially due to a clean record and partially due to how I treat the officer.
Overall, the officer was pretty cool and respectful as were the drivers. The second officer was looking for something to create an issue with though.

I'm no fan of cops but where I lived in suburban Toronto, there was a car-show literally every night and sports cars going off on every residential road late at night. I'm certain many of them had illegal mufflers or whatever because the noise was insane, could be heard inside the house. So I can understand if somebody complains of disturbing car noise. There was a bridge nearby that the city destroyed and a road filled with stop signs just to comply with residential complaints of loud cars at night.

@@dave1096 You should research that, it happens way more that you think, Canadian cops shoot people all the time and they are even safer from prosecution than the U.S. It has been getting worse for the last 5or so years no probable cause is needed in Canada to initiate a stop, I shit you not, look it up if you can't believe me, that started as soon as weed became legal, they hated that the old I smell weed excuse was eliminated so they pushed so hard and of course got what they wanted. I deal with it often and my city is known for our cops being pretty rough and ruthless, Canada has really changed in the last 10 years, they are totally immune from prosecutionand full of attitude.
