Haha very different and a good chuckle 😄👍....quite right on the correct course of action mate.Looking at your rods it'll be an interesting project for someone who's got build history.Rods and Guns I'm with you on that road mate.Good luck with fettling it.The stash mag's a nice touch though.
Damn blast, I've just purchase this rifle this week and have come on here to search for footage that may show how to dismantle the rifle to enable me to possibly adjust the trigger. I don't suppose you could do footage showing how to dismantle the rifle and how to make improvements?
The rifle is a bit of a bitch to dismantle. My advice - for what it's worth - is that if it's operating ok then I'd just leave it be and have fun shooting it. I will certainly make a video on the upgrade I'm making, but I went fairly radical and decided to use a pcp system from a hopped up PP700... Your rifle will probably be just fine - I think maybe I just got a bad one to be fair.
@@PlanetDrewdog Thanks for the info and it will be intriguing to see you upgrade footage. As for my Milbro Savage the piston ram mechanism seams to have some play on it as is not solidly and snugly fitted into the plastic housing. I noticed this when I grab the barrel and without breaking the barrel I can move the entire metal internals up and down which shows it is not snuggly fitted into the plastic stock. So I assuming that given there is movement and play between the metal internals and the plastic casing then this will most likely get worse with wear and tear. Were the internals of your Milbro Savage securely and snuggly fitted when you initially used it?
@@MrRockstar1968 Ah yeah it's recoil damped - they designed it so the action can move back when it's fired. It does actually work too - the only downside being that it can make the trigger feel a bit spongy, but the trigger is actually fine - so don't worry, the whole action is supposed to move independently. Hope this helps.
@@PlanetDrewdog Yeah I realise the recoil dampener should allow it to move back and forth, though surely this should not cause it to wiggle up and down?
My rifle arrived and other than being covered in oil it seems ok but the trigger pull is very heavy, Can I ask was your the same? I can feel the action move the same as my Gamo statical as its recoilless but the trigger just seems insanely heavy. Maybe I will get used to it, the rifle is actually comfy! I look forward to seeing what you did with yours. Have a great Christmas.
I had a simmilar experience with my Benjamin trail pistol...I liked it until it stopped working right...maybe I should link my farewell video in all of my videos it is featured in to make sure people don't buy one "because of me" {I did like it...but there is so many duds that I cannot recommend it...I might sell the 12$cad sights on ebay for 32$US like an other guy is doing and sold over 200 of them 🤣} _Atleast you still have two cigars to calm down when it finaly breaks...my benjamin didn't have this feature so I sent it back._
@@PlanetDrewdog I was hoping to be able to upgrade the trigger but it broke before I could ... _{apparently removing one of the springs makes it alot better}_
i had one it lasted about 300 shots and the sear gave out and you could no longer stay cocked , like you say its a proper bit of fun but made out of pure shit, i got a refund on mine , its a shame as i have a couple of milbro replica c02 pistols and they have been tough as old boots.
milbro stopped making guns a long time ago, now just a brand name they stamp on chinese tatt, some chinese guns are very good now, but that's not one of them.I had the last decent milbro, a G80 when i was a lad, first gun i tuned too.
It certainly is very cheaply manufactured and it's a shame to see an old name like Milbro on stuff like this really - but... it's remarkably accurate if you shoot from the shoulder and the ram produces consistent power figures too. I have to re-make a few parts but, for me, it's worth it simply because it's fun and totally different to my usual rifles.
i’ve made better parts for many cheaper rifles that i loved that were crapley enginiered or shall we say , made from unworthy materials and continued to enjoy them where others would just get a refund and eventually the mark fizzled out through bad reputation . i too am a hobiest enginier at home and am a multi trade builder by trade so turn my hand to everything and we are lucky in this way that we can continue to enjoy something that is nearly all there where others can’t ,…so please do a video of it once you have and i would like to see accuracy at range if you can . that would be great to see as it looked very good groups from the hip. PS. everytime i use my prosports i now think if you 😃 all the best Daniel 😉
So, you've got an inquiring mind and a shed full of tools? I sent you an e-mail as I've got a head full of tools and I took my Prosport down the garden shed....its not a Prosport any more....(don't do this unless you've done more stocking than Santa Claus...)
Thanks for the education, looks like you've been having a lot of fun for the price , Best Regards, Jon, HETV 👍😁
It's a Very Silly Rifle.. but it's a real hoot to shoot. Cheers Jon.
Drew
Never seen or even heard of that, definitely reminds me of the H&K MP7. Great video, made me laugh a bit 🤣 Cheers
Yeah, it is a bit MP7-ish. It's not the type of thing I'd normally buy but it really is a hoot...
The milbro m16 looks just like the Crosman...maybe they make them for others
[With a different design for this one]

Thanks Jeff brother. I'll make a video when I get the thing back together.
Oh wow I wish I had watched this 10 minutes ago! I just bought one! Ugh. Will subscribe now (was going to anyway but...)
Don't worry Carl, yours will likely be just fine - and if it isn't, just return it. These rifles are actually huge fun if they work right.
Epic love it look forward to it 👍🏻
Nice.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you too

@@MrRockstar1968 no it shouldn't be loose. It should take some pressure to compress it.

Hi Carl, yeah the trigger was pretty heavy but manageable.
good talk
Thank you.
Best worst gun ever 😂 good video brother 👍🏼
Haha I love this piece of sh!t - you'll have to try it when I've made it safe.
