The "frog" vocals are the best. It sounds kinda like a zombie. Definitely a good move.
I bought Into the Infernal Regions of the Ancient Cult on vinyl at a record store a while ago (it was sitting there for ages and they put it on sale, and I've never listened to Inquisition) and I didn't know that you had to play it at 45 rpm (I was still new to vinyl), and at 33 rpm came the most evil thing a human could ever witness. The slower, doomy songs were insane. I literally thought that was what the album was supposed to sound like for almost a month.
i forget that all the time when i play those and i fuckin love the "Tome Editions" that HellsHeadbangers released for some albums.
Minus the mistake in RPM, this is EXACTLY how I discovered Inquisition. Saw four of their albums just sitting there in the metal section at the record store, and so eventually I decided to pull them up on Spotify while I was browsing the store. Holy. Fucking. Shit. I bought all four of those albums right then and there.

I like that you actually use clips from the specific songs you talk to show the viewer what you mean.
I was instantly hooked by the frog vocals and they are the reason the band is so memorable for me.
"Hail the cult" is actually one of my favorite songs, I find it to be quite meditative

Recently there was a interview at steelfest in finland. Dagon says the first time he listened to Pure Holocaust thats when he knew he wanted to play black metal.

I find Inquisition quite easy to listen to if you know what I mean. It must be down to the vocals, production and mix. Not something you usually get with BM.
Such an underrated band! Love em, disagree with the reworked covers, I think they look fucking amazing! Thinking Goya or Bosch on cocaine haha
Had the pleasure of seeing them live once, they crush it on stage too. I always enjoyed their lyrical themes and Dagons voice along with it. One of my long time favorites in black metal. Good video!

Ominous Doctrines of the Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm, track 3 Desolate Funeral Chant. Listen to it, if that dosent get you into Inquisition or even black metal. I don't know what the fuck ever will. Still my favorite album by them. But not my favorite black metal band though, Wolves in the throne room will always be my number one. All hail atmospheric black metal!
Dagon is a genius. Every Inquisition song has a blowmind riff including Inversion of the Ethereal White Stars
Inquisition within the black metal genre is quite underrated and under appreciated. Just my opinion! I can listen to the sonic and melodic soundscapes of Inquisition over many of the more “Hip” black metal bands that get more attention.

Great video, thanks! I struggle with the production on Nefarious despite that album having some of the best Inquisition riffs. It has a quietness to it that the other albums don’t have.

The video featured on this report is filmed at my festival "Sacrifice of the Nazarene Child Black Metal Fest" in San Antonio, Texas back in 2001. Their 1st show in the U.S.....Absu also played this fest.

Hey you missed incense of rest (ep) and the split with profane creation. Interesting fact, the name of the split was inspired on a place called farallones nearby the city of Cali, where inquisition was born.

I this cd Bloodshed Across the Empyrean Altar Beyond the Celestial Zenith: 18:34 from a friend to convert it to flac and i had to cut the title to "Bloodshed Across the Empyrean Altar" because i was getting an error when i try to move the files to my hard drive lol
