49 year old metal head here that only started listening to black metal about 3 years ago. These dudes have quickly become not only my favorite black metal band, but favorite band period. The musicianship is amazing.
That’s a cool discovery dude. I sat down and listened to the Ominous Doctrines album back in early 2013. I remember I went home sick from work, and just played Inqui on the speakers.. from then I was sold. Always knew about them as a band, but never checked em out.. Astral Paths and Desolate Funeral Chant are still my biggest go to’s to this day. Been a fan since. Inquisition is THE band. 🔥🔱☠️

Pretty sure they don't want to be bothered by the Woke BS. Dagon was falsely accused of some made up garbage by a bunch of Woke idiots. Had to do with subjects they wrote on earlier albums. Not positive about it but I wouldn't be surprised if that's why they're avoiding the US.
Their performance is insanely tight. Their new tracks from their latest album sound better live. There wasn't enough bass in the mix to the latest album, but this live sounds just right. Forever, my favourite band. Viva La Inquisition

Which one did they play? I saw them in Colombia 2 years ago it was a nice show but they didn't play any song from Black Mass that day, I was expecting to see some of it, it's probably their best album

I think it's the only one they ever played from Black Mass, as you can also see some live videos within the past year and Spirit of the Black Star was all they played. I saw them in Tijuana Mexico after not seeing them for 12 years and noticed they didn’t play any songs from Black Mass, is so strange because is a recent album and is so killer it became my favorite. I would die if they ever play Necromancy Througj a Buried Cosmos. The song gives me the chills! It reminds me of Enslaved when it comes to not playing any songs from a certain album, for example Bloodhemn, I remember Grutle saying he hated the album and is his least favorite. I wonder if Dagon feels the same about Black Mass.
Inquisition was my first BM show and that was in 2017. I was pretty ignorant to it then. It has since become one of my most favored genres. I wish I could have that night back to take it all in with a more open mind. Either way, it is what it is, and I am with this.
Playing as fast as he is and singing is impressive. Man, the one thing I can’t about this kind of metal is the blast drum beats. I prefer a slower beat like in sludge or doom.
Unfortunately not. I had to play somewhere else that evening. And could just make it to film Inquisition. But there were other camera's present from somebody else I saw. And I think he possibly filmed Infinity.
