Also 10 months postpartum. Very similar boat and feeling like I can’t perform at full capacity in any one area of life (work, fitness, parenting, etc.). Frustrating, since operating at a high level is a huge part of my identity. Just a stage of life, though!

I'm not on a post partum journey but I'm really grateful for this video. I got a concussion in November and am still struggling with some symptoms that make exercising very difficult. So I have been having really slow weight los progress and when i film myself for tik tok I'm starting to be really insecure about my legs which also used to be my thing.

I'm in the opposite boat but the same, first 10 months were awful sleep, my little one was waking up every 2-4 hours, sometimes staying awake and crying for 1 to 2 hours after feeding, i had horrible sleep for 10 months and i couldn't function or go to the gym for all of that time and i had to reduce work to 50%. Just sharing this because people don''t share this enough, being the parent of a baby is insane, if you see a parent with a baby or a small child please be patient with them - also there are so many comments about never stopping with good habits, how important consistency is etc. and i am just here trying to accept my new body and catch up on 10 month of no sleep and going back to the gym basically starting at zero again
I’m sorry you’re going through this ❤ I agree, people don’t share these kinda things enough. Makes you feel bad if you don’t have everything under control and get back to “normal” life after having a baby. I couldn’t really work out during my pregnancy and now 3 months postpartum and dealing with crazy lack of sleep. I choose a nap over working out if I get the chance even though I love going to the gym and would love to work out. But sleep is my priority number one. Otherwise it’s hard to function and take care of the baby. One day I’ll be able to enjoy going to the gym again even though I’ll also be starting from zero… Anyway thanks for sharing!

If you started the weaning process its her digestion keeping her awake as she starts to try more fibrous foods. It's so tough isnt it. Keep going, it will settle and dont try and do everything; you will get back to more productivity soon x
It's OK to complain! Parenting is generally not fun even though we love them but unfortunately there are some sanctimonious twats who think you're ungrateful if you say anything negative about pregnancy or parenting 🙄
