Seeing you with the dolls house was one of the sweetest things ever! It’s such a good reminder of how often our childhood memories influence our adult preferences.
I've been absolutely loving the slower lifestyle type vlogs that you've been doing this last year. I don't know about anyone else, but for me your videos are a little sanctuary where I can escape for a little while, while also gaining inspiration to find little things to add to my own life to make it that much sweeter. Love love love!
This video touched my heart, my two daughters had a big dolls house and every Saturday morning my mum took them to dolls house club where they made special bits for their house then once a year there was an event at a church where they displayed it proudly. The club was full of old ladies but they loved it and now appreciate the time with their granny that passed away last year ❤
Your dollhouse is absolutely beautiful, and what makes it even more special is the story behind it. When I was young, I always wanted a dollhouse but never had one. In my adult life, I finally bought one, and it now sits in my home office. Working on its different rooms brings me so much joy.
Lydia you are not wrong in taking the doll's house back. Children always move on from their toy choices as they get older. It is a grt idea for you to have it & give it a make over.
When the body speaks, we must listen. I’m so glad you took the time for yourself and had a relaxing weekend with your husband and enjoyed your garden and doggies. It’s important to take some time for ourselves and recharge and reset. Thank you Lydia for the reminder. 💕💕💕
Thank you so much Lydia you have saved me more times than you know by just being you. You are the friend I never knew I needed, please continue doing what you are doing. XOXO
I feel quite sorry for Lydia, that people watch her vlogs and criticise her every move, it’s her life, let her live it the way she wants to, put a camera on yourselves and I bet you wouldn’t be perfect.
I absolutely love your dolls house, and the fact that you lent it to your niece is so special, it’s only right you have it back… no one would ever judge you ❤ the flooring downstairs is stunning x
Hey Lydia, usually I’m a silent watcher and don’t really comment a whole lot but I have a suggestion for burn remedies! My partner used to work in kitchens and got burned quite a lot and passed this remedy onto me as I am quite clumsy too. It is an ointment called Flamazine. It takes the burning sensation right out of the burn and heals it like magic with no scarring!
Just a brilliant tip I was given by an older friend, when I lived in Tucson,Arizona, for burns (most effective if used as soon as possible). Take a raw potato, cut it in half. With a fork rake it so the potato starch comes up. Rub the potato on the burn…do this as long as that burning sensation lasts. The next morning it will be practically gone. At first I thought it was a bit crazy, but it REALLY worked. I hope that helps ❤ Joy from Michigan, USA
I finally ordered Evergreen… I’ve not started reading it yet but as someone that owns quite an array and vast amount of books… it’s by far one of the best quality and most beautiful books 🤩❤️
Display it in your office. It will look lovely and you can look at it in a space where you are always creatively engaged. Hope you keep those beautiful Tiffany inspired lamp shades.
I have severe PMDD as well and have had it since I was a child. Thank you for sharing your experience. Most people don’t understand how debilitating it is for women. Black seed oil and magnesium seems to help.
My Daughter & I built & decorated a Doll House! So much fun! Many years later still have it displayed & when Children visit they love to play with the House! Great hobby & many memories! ❤🏡
I honestly don't know why I haven't gotten it yet, But I just looked at your book for the first time! I don't know why, but while reading the bit with you and Carrie taking that walk, I started to tear up. Which, if I had any doubt, ensured me that I need to read your book! And I can relate so much to what you said you were feeling in bed. After my third miscarriage in less than two years, I had every possible negative thought about myself. And though I have gotten through that, the moments of grief are shorter and farther apart now, and I am starting to find myself... Thank you for being you.
Lydia. It’s so necessary for women to discuss their physical experience. I suffered debilitating illness from period pain and just thought it was ‘normal’ and then found out I had significant issues. Good on you for sharing. On the confusion issue… consider looking into ADHD as women can be grossly undiagnosed. How you describe it sounds familiar to me… I teach high school kids. Love watching your world unfold. Take care of yourself. I love that you prioritise self awareness.
I'm pausing mid way through as I had a thought. You need a vintage LV hat box for all your lovely hats! Its lovely that you lent you dolls house out and now have it back as it was made for you, so have fun with it!
Hi Lydia, I came back to watching your vlogs recently & really enjoying them . Love the new Basement floor and love the dollhouse .. it is the sweetest piece of nostalgia . Absolutely beautiful ❤ I can’t wait to see how you make the changes xx

I like the rustic floor, however I would reconsider having the same floor in the gym as it is important for your joints etc. to have a floor that it not rigid depending on what sport you might do in the future.
Lydia when you burn something no matter is it big or small burn . Painful or not load it with ice as long as you can to freeze burning reaction. You can use special salves with hydrogen peroxide or perhaps wear special plaster for burns . To prevent scaring I would recommend to cover the area from sun exposure to prevent hyper pigmentation that can lead to scaring or uneven skin tone . Vitamin c serum great for healing and you can start using retinol once you can see your burn is almost healed . It will help your new cells to become stronger and even out skin tone .

@@mariaphelan3668and multiple bee stings can be deadly. When stung, a person has a surge of adrenaline as a physiological reaction. Her brushing it off as "drama" reduced it to something like a mosquito bite. People do die from multiple bee stings.
Caster oil for the burn Lydia. I gave myself a 3rd degree burn on my stomach with a hot water bottle, and rubbing on castor oil has made a massive difference.

Saying "I'm hoping Ali will help me with the pieces I can't fix", Knowing this man would probably walk over hot coals for you is wild. I love your relationship, its so pure
Lydia. Apply Vitamin E ( poke the capsule open and get the oil on your skin) this is excellent to diminish and / or prevent any scarring. I hope this is helpful.
Your cherished dollhouse would be lovely as the focal point on an entry way table or other prominently placed table. Could it be seasonally decorated? Mini holiday decorations on its exterior, etc? Such a treasured piece.
Your new floor is amazing as it is so rustic and looks worn which gives it character. Some people like floors that look new and that is their choice. Your dolls house is amazing. An heirloom for you and well worth fixing up and cherishing.
Lydia Cocoa Butter, Palmer Brand is the best for preventing scars mark. And try to have in your medicine cabinet Vitamin A& D oiment, you put that on a burn and prevent your skin from having scars.
Love the floor , i know what I'm going to say now is not the way you are going to do the interior of the room but it's just a way so others who reading this can get more ideas 💁🏻♀️ So with linnen & jute & light flowy curtains & a huge sofa with antique paintings with dark & light colors in on the wall with thick original golden frames & a huge natural fiber carpet in a super dark tone with on top a lighter eastern vintage carpet but 1 size smaller so that the darker one frames the top one. ✌🏻🌻
This is actually a honeychurch dolls house, I have the exact same one from childhood, perhaps your grandad meant he put the pieces together for you rather than made it from scratch. Either way it’s so nostalgic and wonderful to have these pieces from our childhoods. ❤️
@@lydiamillenno lovely, you said gramps so successful but he actually built it and grand mama decorated it. No way you said he put it together because that is essential to use it. But you do you if thats what suits.
It's very sad that you had to tell Lydia that her granddad didn't actually make her dollhouse. Do you feel better for telling her?! Tamanu Oil is the best product for any skin condition, including burns, cuts, blisters, and scars. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and it is amazing! I've also noticed that it's great for anti-aging, reducing the signs of wrinkles.
Hi Lydia, my esthetician suggested hylauronic acid for burns (including sunburn), and it's amazing. Also, red light therapy helps with healing/scarring. Hope you feel better soon.

Oh my God this dolls house 🏠 made me smile, you are so lucky…. I can’t wait to see it finished. So happy for you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Keeping the burn moist will promote skin elasticity and reduce scarring. Keep it moist consistently. Plain petroleum is the best. I hope this helps.
What a wonderful thing to do to lend your dolls house. ❤
Lydia Cocoa Butter, Palmer Brand is the best for preventing scars mark. And try to have in your medicine cabinet Vitamin A& D oiment, you put that on a burn and prevent your skin from having scars.
The floor looks beautiful and in keeping with the rest of your home. Well done.
These colors are beautiful!
I like the white Hermes and shoes!
What a lovely vlog , especially about the dolls house ❤
I can't wait to see your dolls house makeover and where you display it. Please, please show us any furniture etc you get for it ❤
Love the floor , i know what I'm going to say now is not the way you are going to do the interior of the room but it's just a way so others who reading this can get more ideas 💁🏻♀️
So with linnen & jute & light flowy curtains & a huge sofa with antique paintings with dark & light colors in on the wall with thick original golden frames & a huge natural fiber carpet in a super dark tone with on top a lighter eastern vintage carpet but 1 size smaller so that the darker one frames the top one.
✌🏻🌻
This is actually a honeychurch dolls house, I have the exact same one from childhood, perhaps your grandad meant he put the pieces together for you rather than made it from scratch. Either way it’s so nostalgic and wonderful to have these pieces from our childhoods. ❤️
I 'thought I had come across it before too
I can’t see where I said “from scratch” but if assembled is your word of choice instead of built that’s fine I think 🤍
It wouldn't of hurt you to leave her with her memories intact, that are obviously very special to her, but no, you have to spoil something that is obviously very precious to her. So not nice of you. Smh.
@@lydiamillenIt’s sad you chose to take offense to my comment when it was a positive comment celebrating pieces from childhood that we both share. I think it’s wonderful. Try to see the positives ❤
I love your brick floors !
Tamanu Oil is the best product for any skin condition, including burns, cuts, blisters, and scars. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and it is amazing! I've also noticed that it's great for anti-aging, reducing the signs of wrinkles.
I just spent so time in England.beautiful the weather is depressing 🙈🙈🙈 LOVE THE FLOOR
Hi Lydia, my esthetician suggested hylauronic acid for burns (including sunburn), and it's amazing. Also, red light therapy helps with healing/scarring. Hope you feel better soon.
Lydia, use scraps of the wallpapers you used and flooring and such in the dollhouse
Vitamin E helps in healing the scar. Aloe Vera is great for the burn part. Looks like your burn has healed nicely, so next up Vitamin E oil.
Lydia babe at the moment I'm staying at my lovely aunt and uncles in picturesque Derbyshire I love them so much and love spending time with them before we went to their home we stopped at a place called crystal peaks it's a lovely shopping mall my aunt bought me a beautiful sophisticated cream trouser suit it looks so lovely on it's from marks and spencers
Palmers has a great oil for scars. Vitamin E oil also helps with scars. Aloe is a good first step.
I love the white dress with the bow, another way to wear it so the simplicity of the design is not interrupted with the cross body is a white bucket bag with a tan strap. Some statements earrings and cuff.
Absolutely stunning!
Doll house - how magical !! You are absolutely right, Lydia, keep it, have it on the display, enjoy it !! This is a piece of art !! ❤👌🔝❕❗
Such a lovely vlog! I enjoy watching you so much! Greetings from USA 😊
The floor is beautiful ❤
