- Chennai, on the Bay of Bengal in eastern India, is the capital of the state of Tamil Nadu. The city is home to Fort St. George, built in 1644 and now a museum showcasing the city’s roots as a British military garrison and East India Company trading outpost, when it was called Madras. Religious sites include Kapaleeshwarar Temple, adorned with carved and painted gods, and St. Mary’s, a 17th-century Anglican church.

I love Chennai. The city has a great vibe
India is crowded and crowded but I like this country because it looks strangely beautiful.
Old Madras is great too, but I wish you had walked through the city centre which I guess is more representative of the city than Old Madras, which is at the northern edge of the city really.

motor bike yes. but, 2 wheelers there are lot of countries in East Asia. Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand....
Lot of the Japanese companies have an established presence in India through Joint Venture with Indian companies. TVS-Suzuki, Hero-Honda, Bajaj-Kawasaki... Suzuki has/had a tie on the car side with Maruti-Suzuki. This was before but nowadays all the players in Car market are there.
In Chennai, you will find most of these have factories along with the cell phone manufacturers like Nokia, LG(Electronics)...
Chennai had a big time British influence in addition to city, Trichy.

Honestly, the Indian streets in these Keezi videos look cleaner than the ones in Indonesia that I frequent. Fewer open drains and more buildings that have been painted.

Chennai is a beautiful and colourful place I hope to visit one day.
I simply don't understand why are so many streets in nearly all big cities in India covered with trash? There aren't even trash cans to be seen. Is it that impossible to set up a regular trash removal service? Does it cost that much in India that no city can afford it? To be honest, this video of this particular city looks like it has the cleanest streets even if the buildings look very dirty.
Look your streets in usa. Kensington, LA, new york. People literally poop there.

people in india actually dont want to change thier traditional dresses as it consists thier love hence they have not companied any foreigen dress
Indian man always like to wear long sleeve shirts or collared T shirts which I think is Western. In Canada I had an Indian school mate who always wear long sleeve shirt everyday for all occasions.
Indian dresses are made for their indian climate conditions ....Chennai has mostly hot climate , you cannot feel comfortable with full western dress ...Saree is common dress for women & blue lungi , white vesti are dresses for men , but working men mostly prefer formal cotton shirt & pant in indian cities , working women mostly wear some indian - western mixed dresses ....That's it

Actually you can find easily on google maps. Just look for a shop that has a a distinct name and search for it. That’s what I do with these videos.

yes we ride bikes but this area is a market place and its early morning too so there are not much women and also we like to take public transport and also its a muslim neighbourhood

He walked through an area which is a Muslim neighbourhood. It's also called Old Madras, because this was the city center in the times when the city was started, but after decades, the city has expanded rapidly and therefore this is actually near the outskirts of the city more or less.
In every city we have outskirts which is not developed much city centres are fully modernise because poor people or budget friendly would like to pay less rent
