- Hyderabad is the capital of southern India's Telangana state. A major center for the technology industry, it's home to many upscale restaurants and shops. Its historic sites include Golconda Fort, a former diamond-trading center that was once the Qutb Shahi dynastic capital. The Charminar, a 16th-century mosque whose 4 arches support towering minarets, is an old city landmark near the long-standing Laad Bazaar.

Thank you a lot! My company offered me a business trip to India and Hyderabad is one of destinations available to choice. Your video helped me to form image about the city. Most of videos on youtube just shows touristic Hyderabad and it makes no sense for me

Actually, the buildings in Hyderabad are not that bad, but the city management/administration is not that good. There is no street clean up, construction waste everywhere and no traffic lighters at all. Wish all my friends in Hyderabad are doing well.

Old parts of all Indian cities are cramped, dirtier, infrastructure deficient, a lot poorer as these areas generally become the neighborhoods for low income people. The governments don’t invest in these neighborhoods’ aesthetics and urban infrastructure. This inequality exists in all Indian cities. Hyderabad must fix its older neighborhoods if it wants to be considered a global city.

Ironically, it seems driving crazy is how they avoid traffic jams. Smaller vehicles also helps fit more traffic on the road.

I want to visit Hyderabad, Tirupati , and a couple of other cities next year. How safe is Hyderabad for American tourists? I don't want to stick to tourist areas, but I don't want to get robbed and killed, either. Are there certain areas that are considered dangerous? I don't want to go to any upscale restaurants and shops; I can go to Manhattan for that. I want eat street food, etc.

Woaah , the city has same vibes like my Hyderabad. So many tuktuks just like ours, so much garbage, and the guy in on tuktuk push the other tuktuk with his foot hahaha striking similarities.
Ive seen the walk Video of Hyderabad, Pakistan, it is nowhere in comparison to this city. There is so much filth and garbage and that depressing grey dust in literally every street if your Hyderabad.
Basically every indian cities look same..dusty, dirty and chaotic.
