To me this video shows poverty, hardship, chaos, poor standard of living and I bet the people in this video here will definitely want a better life. But to you this is charming and full of colors? Nice video, I live in this area, it is near the Kolkata Airport and about 45 minutes from Central Kolkata, at the beginning is Gate number 2 and then Gate number one, that is where the better hotels are, like Stayotel and Sri Krishna Hotel, there are good restaurants, supermarkets like More and Reliance Fresh, it a nice and clean area with almost zero criminality, one of the problems is that there is not sidewalks for pedestrians, so you have to walk on the road.

Well kolkatta population is set to decrease. Its fertility rate is 1.2 so that is some good news.
