- I have been waiting to put these beast up against each other. The race guns are the pure competition guns of the industry. All are made to the highest standards and machining by these gun makers. Great video and love the channel content! I’m biased toward BUL as you can tell by my icon. I have 3 of their Open guns (Shorty, Full Size, and Heavy) and love them all. However the Shorty is by far the snappiest when shooting Major PF. The Heavy is my go to for matches! Best of luck at the match. Keep up the great channel and post up some match footage!!

My vote for competition use would be the Chaos, at least there would be some parts compatibility if you had a breakdown. I'm impressed with the Bul, for less than half the cost it's right up there with the other guns, the only drawback to the Bul guns is their proprietary magazine design, I know MBX makes mags in that pattern but you couldn't borrow mags in a pinch.

But the magazines are objectively better, they have more capacity and are generally more reliable than 90% of the various 2011 magazines you can buy. And the Mec-Gar made ones are way more affordable as well.

It truly is. The Honcho and Chaos are on par with each other. Two of the baddest in the race gun category.

Good morning Jay. Thank you sir. Appreciate it. The two I would recommend are the Bul Armory SAS II UR-F and the Masterpiece Arms DS9 Open. They are both under $6500 and two of the best in the category of quality and performance. Both have great triggers, flat shooters and slide to frame fit. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
I predicted the Atlas Chaos would win but can understand your reasons for choosing the PTH as the winner.
For that reason, you should definitely choose the PTH for the competition.
But if you're gonna shoot a match called "Infinity US Open", shouldn't you have an "Infinity" to shoot it with? :-)

The interchangeability of the honcho is amazing, but I'm curious if being a jack of all trades gun will still allow it to be competitive with purpose built guns like the Erebus or Artemis. If it can then it's a steal! Even at the 9k price tag. I say run the honcho, it'll be interesting to see if you still prefer it over the chaos after you run it under the unique conditions of a competition.

Although proprietary, the BUL style magazines have better capacity and the gun is like half the cost. And they have the compensators integrated into the barrel, which Atlas can't be bothered to do while taking twice the money. And the newest Bullesteros is even better and flatter than the UR shorty.
You are right about the BULs The Atlas are my favorite but you can’t beat the quality and build of the BUL. I have to check out the Bullesteros. Thanks for watching. Appreciate your support

How does the phoniex trinity honcho feel with the 9mm minor barrel with the single comp? How does the single comp honcho compare to say an atlas erebus?
Good morning!! To be completely transparent, I never considered using the single comp barrel for it. I always use it in the race gun configuration based on the optic set up. The Honcho is one of my flattest shooting guns and the overall performance matches the Atlas Chaos. This will be an interesting versus so look for that very soon. This one will be good. Appreciate the suggestion.

Youre missing a big one in your collection... MPA DS9 Open... I think from the perspective of someone who wants to get into shooting Open Division in USPSA, its probably the most accessible and affordable option (BUl armory is cheaper, but not as available, and they arent custom built to order like the MPA)

I honestly think the atlas would shoot the flattest if it had a thumb rest.

Hey Mike - if you had to choose one our 9mm Comp guns (Erebus, TRS, XC) against one of your 9mm Race guns (Honcho, Chaos) which “type” of guy do you think you enjoy shooting more? I know it’s a bit of loaded question sorry!

Between Bul Armory UR, UR-F & UR-Shorty, which one you think will be the best for competition shooting?
I haven’t had the opportunity to shoot the BUL full size race guns but in my opinion it would be the UR-F. If the UR shorty performs this well. The UR-F has to be the best of the three. Thanks for watching and the question.

Hey bruh I'm late to the party I assume the match was in March 2023... You may disagree with me but by looking at the footage in real time and slow motion it appears to me the Accuracy X and the Buk Armory shot flatter and seem to be easier to acquire follow up shots so I will choose one of those two bruh...😎
Hey my brother. I appreciate your feedback. I did go with the Honcho and Chaos and things did not go well because of the extreme cold weather. I used too much oil and it gummed up in the cold weather. I did compete with the Bul and Accuracy X and found them to be pretty good too. Overall these race guns are built perfectly. The ergonomics is the one thing that sets them apart from each other. I prefer the Atlas and Honcho at that time because the grip felt the best and I was able to maintain better control. The Bul was great but the double undercut on the trigger guard really dug into my knuckle on my strong hand. Very uncomfortable. The Accuracy X was good but not as balanced as the others. I felt myself making too many adjustments and over compensating for the trying to keep the Accuracy X balanced. Thanks for watching and suggestions. Much respect ✊🏽

Can i change out the compensator to a suppressor on any of these gun?
To my knowledge, these barrel configurations can’t be changed to suppressors unless you go to a qualified gunsmith. The makers of these guns current don’t offer threaded barrel configurations. Interesting question though. No one has ever asked that about that before. Thanks for watching.

@ciw8688 the makers of the competition guns have commander and government size models that have the same accuracy as their race guns. The one not in this versus is the Masterpiece Arms DS9 Open competition gun. In my opinion, the DS9 Hybrid limited optics model is the best choice cost wise. Aside from the custom guns, Staccato is the best production built 2011 on the market.

@ciw8688 yes sir. The majority of the new 2011 non-race guns have the option or feature available now. It’s either offered by the gun maker or an aftermarket part.

Where does the infinity stack against these?
The Infinity 38Super Comp quality and material used is far superior than all of them. As far as action and performance goes it would be splitting hairs but would come down to personal preference. These race guns are simply the best out there. If money is not a factor, the Infinity would be the best bet. If money is a factor, the Bul would be the better option. All the others fall in between the two. Thanks for watching!!

Did you see the new FN 510 you think it’s worth the buy it’s a 10mm
Andre!! I’ve seen the reviews and in my opinion 10mm works better in a full metal gun. Full metal gun manages the recoil much better than the polymer grip and metal slide 10mm. I have a Glock20 10mm and a STI 2011 10mm (all metal frame) and will feel the difference. I keep my Glock20 in a MCK unit to manage the recoil. The polymer grip and metal slide guns are way too snappy and hard to keep on target when you have to rapid fire. Again just my opinion since I never shot a FN before but the 509 would be worth the buy for me.

If you love Springfield, the Prodigy is a good option for both classes. I haven’t considered using my prodigy for competitions though but believe it would perform well. The Staccato XC, Atlas Athena or Erebus would be good starters.

What type of ammunition will you use in this Saturday's competition and why? Thank you🦸♂️
Good morning Superwoman!❤️🦸🏾♀️. For this competition I will be using 115gr 9mm ammunition because for me it allows this type of gun to shoot faster and more accurately. I maybe switching to 124gr which will allow the gun to shoot with less recoil. The larger the gun the slower the bullet shoots out of the gun which reduces the recoil. Recoil control gives the ability for a shooter to get more accurate shots. 124gr I believe is the highest grain round you can shoot in a competition type gun for to operate efficiently. You’re on a roll baby. Love it ❤️😁
