I just had it done yesterday afternoon and I have no pain today, it only took me a few hours bebore I could walk normally and without feeling disconfort. I slept from 7 pm to 1 am today and I feel fine. I also know of other people who had it done and they're doing fine. My Orthopedic Dr did it.
I would only do it with an Orthopedic Dr.
Do not take chances doing this with anyone else. Also you must pay because Health Ins don't pay for the PRT. Always follow your Dr instructions for before and after and ask questions.

Eli M. Hi Eli, any updates on the long term effects of your PRP injection? I have a vacation week coming up soon & am scheduling an appt. with an orthopedic knee doctor to have him look at my knee. I’ve had ongoing discomfort my MCL area & behind the knee. Have you had a second injection? Or was one time enough? My I ask what it costs? Will the doctor do the PRP injection the same day?
